Chapter 39: The Professional Package and The Secret Basement

Chapter 39: Chapter 39: The Professional Package and The Secret Basement

After several minutes of swearing under his breath and massaging the parts of his core that were now screaming in agony, Ethan slowly got up and stretched carefully. He walked into the massive kitchen, grabbed a couple of bottles of water, and found two bags of frozen peas, placing them carefully on his aching lower back and abdomen. The icy relief was immediate and satisfying.

He walked towards his car, feeling a mix of pain and adrenaline. He took the keys Victoria had given him, opened the main gate with the remote, and was just about to pull out when he saw four figures approaching the car. Four massive guards, weapons holstered on their hips, were advancing on him.

Ethan’s body instantly tensed, and the professional boxer knowledge kicked in. He considered jumping out and engaging them, his hands twitching for a fight. But the man who had greeted him yesterday—Agent Alpha—was leading them, sporting a wide, polite smile, carrying a folder and a small bag. They didn’t look like they were about to attack.

Ethan relaxed, letting out a long, shaky sigh.

[Not everyone wants to kill you, you know...] the System scoffed, sensing the anticlimax. [Though I guess you’re itching to test out those new combat skills. I totally get it.]

Ethan chuckled softly. "Maybe a little. They weren’t cheap, either. It’s gonna take me a while to recover those 50 points."

Agent Alpha reached the car. Ethan killed the engine and stepped out. They shook hands, Alpha’s grip firm and utterly professional.

"Mr. Blake, you can call me Agent Alpha. I’m the Head of Security for Celestial Garden," Alpha introduced himself, his voice clipped and serious. "I’m former Special Forces, a SWAT veteran, and a Marine soldier, as are most of my colleagues. You can rest assured that everything within this property will remain exactly as you leave it."

Alpha wasn’t bragging; it was protocol. It was necessary to earn the trust of their high-status clientele, whose financial losses due to security breaches could be catastrophic. The security level had to be monstrously high.

Ethan smiled, genuinely impressed. "I appreciate your work, Alpha. I’m very grateful."

As Ethan moved to get back into the car, Agent Alpha stopped him, courteously placing a hand on the door frame. "Sir, I just needed one quick signature, and to deliver something important." He handed Ethan a folder for the final security sign-off, then offered the small, heavy bag.

Inside the bag were two simple metal keys—one for the house, and one for the basement.

Alpha lowered his voice, dropping his formal posture slightly, adopting a conspiratorial tone.

"See that small, discreet cabin that looks like a guard shack?" Alpha pointed to a structure near the boundary wall. "That’s an emergency entrance/exit. It leads to a private, reinforced underground bunker. Every house has one."

Alpha continued, emphasizing the secrecy. "We only made two copies, and they are in your hand. While we have the equipment to breach the main house in an emergency, those reinforced steel basement doors cannot be opened unless we bring in specialized heavy gear. So, you can have complete security that nobody—and I mean nobody—will enter without your express permission down there." Alpha paused, letting the implication hang in the air. "It’s your space, Mr. Blake. What happens in that bunker, stays in that bunker."

Ethan raised an eyebrow, a slow, knowing smirk spreading across his face. "Sounds like you guys put a lot of thought into the ’privacy’ aspect."

Agent Alpha chuckled, a low, professional sound. He lowered his voice, leaning in a little closer, his eyes twinkling. "Let’s just say we understand our clientele’s... needs, Mr. Blake. We know the difference between a high-value asset and a high-value secret." He gestured back toward the mansion.

"Just so you know: the whole house—the whole structure—is built with extreme soundproofing. You could throw a concert in the living room, and the neighbors wouldn’t hear a thing. But down there? In the bunker?" He shrugged, his smile widening. "You can do whatever the hell you want."

[Holy shit, kid! That sounds awesome!

] the System immediately chimed in, its voice excited. [You could make Victoria scream again down there—really scream, like a caged bitch—and nobody would ever know! Gotta get those Titan of Sex rewards back, champ!]

Ethan fought a grin, giving Alpha a slow nod. "I appreciate the detailed security briefing, Agent Alpha. And the gift. Tell the construction team I’ll definitely put the basement to good use."

"It’s our pleasure, sir. Just sign here," Alpha said, handing him the folder. "Enjoy your stay, Mr. Blake."

Ethan quickly scribbled his signature, grabbed the small bag of keys, and tried to head back to his car, his mind already buzzing with possibilities of making women scream.

Alpha took the folder back, nodding once. "One more thing, Mr. Blake. Since you are now a member of Celestial Garden, we also offer an exclusive service for our elite members."

He handed Ethan a sleek black card that had only a phone number and a simple code printed on it. "You can call or text this number 24/7, around the clock. Whatever you need, whatever can be obtained, will be delivered to you immediately."

Alpha lowered his voice again, his tone becoming suggestive. "We also have a full staffing service. If you require a housekeeper, butler, chef, driver—anything at all—we can provide it, exactly how you like it." The emphasis he placed on the last words was heavy and deliberate.

[Hahahaha! See!] the System cackled triumphantly. [Ask for some big-titted babes in lingerie to watch your house and do the gardening! Get on it!]

Ethan smirked, tucking the card into his pocket next to the bunker remote. "I’ll definitely keep that service in mind, Alpha. Thank you."

"It’s our pleasure, sir. Enjoy your stay."

Ethan got back into his car, his mind already buzzing with possibilities—both legal and deliciously illegal—that the secret bunker and the new "exclusive service" offered.
