Chapter 397: Another New Day

In any case, since FG Aileen Na had already made the promise in advance, she had to fulfill her commitment even if it meant doing so with tears in her eyes - especially in front of Luna, the little Lori she had just met.

Aileen Na's mouth twitched slightly as she handed the "traitorous" wand to Luna with a forced smile.

She had been treating these wands so well these days, feeding them well and taking good care of them. But before even a month had passed, they had turned around and thrown themselves into Luna Lovegood's arms. It was a waste of effort to raise these ungrateful black walnut chopsticks.

But thankfully, since the wand core was made of her own hair, she could always find some time for Mr. Ollivander to re-craft a few more sets of "black walnut chopsticks." Having money and power meant being able to do whatever she wanted.

As for the time until then, she could just not use chopsticks and use skewers or forks instead. She could still eat.

Of course, Aileen Na hadn't lost out completely by sacrificing her beloved wand - at least for this week, Luna, the little Lori who wasn't yet familiar with Hogwarts, was naturally eating and sleeping with her.

"Luna, it's getting late. Let's go to bed early."

Aileen Na licked her lips and said softly, pulling up the blanket and wrapping it around Luna Lovegood, who was still reading next to her. She forcefully pressed her onto the soft velvet mattress and continued seriously, with a solemn expression.

"We're going to take you to Transfiguration class tomorrow. Professor McGonagall is quite strict... if she sees you yawning in class, she might turn you into a frog."

...

The next morning, under Hermione's thoughtful and suspicious gaze, Aileen Na was seen walking into the Great Hall of Hogwarts with Hannah and Luna on either side, sitting down in her usual spot, and waiting for the new day's breakfast.

"So, starting today, Luna, you'll be studying at school too?"

Hermione glanced at the position on Luna's chest where the Hufflepuff uniform was, judging from the size, it was probably Aileen Na's clothes - if it were Hannah Abbott, at least two "reserve rations" would have to be stuffed into the chest area.

"Good morning, Sister Hermione."

Luna nodded obediently and sat down next to Hermione.

Because of the time spent trying on clothes, the three of them had been delayed slightly in the Hufflepuff common room. By the time they arrived at the Great Hall, breakfast had already been placed on the table, still a delicious and fragrant European breakfast.

Potato chunks boiled to seven or eight degrees of doneness were fried in duck fat until fully cooked, then sprinkled roughly with finely crushed salt. This was the most authentic way to make fried potato chunks. Although duck fat was a little hard to come by, it wasn't too difficult with Galleons paving the way.

Thick and bright tomato sauce paired with cooked soybeans made for a simple tomato-sauce soybeans. The sweet and sour taste mixed with the fragrant beans awakened the body from its day-long slumber while giving the young wizards vitality for the new day.

Butter-fried eggs were spread on freshly baked bread slices, and Eggs Benedict were dotted like works of art in the center of the table. Bacon, pan-fried rather than baked, had a perfectly golden surface...

And of course, there was the most classic Scottish breakfast tea - the mellow and sweet tea, with a hint of floral fragrance, had a comforting aroma that was a bit like warm toast with honey when milk was added.

Glug~

Luna glanced at the tempting breakfast on the table and swallowed lightly.

It had to be said that no matter how clever Luna was, she was still just a little girl under the age of eleven. Being able to resist directly reaching out when faced with so much delicious food was already quite remarkable.

"Morning, Hermione."

Aileen Na smiled and waved at Hermione, pulling Hannah along as well to sit down.

"Now that Luna has come to Hogwarts, it would be a waste of time to only be busy with *The Quibbler*. As we said before, she will be attending classes with us as an auditor."

"What about the house and the schedule? It looks like you've already decided." Hermione pouted somewhat discontentedly, her gaze sliding over the yellow and black house robes on Luna, her tone carrying a hint of barely perceptible resentment. "Without going through the Sorting Hat, how do you know that Luna isn't a Gryffindor?"

"Actually, it's not..."

Aileen Na shrugged, scooping a large spoonful of tomato-sauce soybeans onto her plate while saying casually.

"Luna doesn't belong to any of the houses. After her father buys her daily clothes and plain robes next week and sends them over, she won't be wearing the Hufflepuff robes anymore - as for the schedule, that's actually what I'm about to talk about. There's something I might need to ask you for help with, Hermione..."

The first year of Hogwarts' magical courses had already started two weeks ago. If Luna Lovegood wanted to catch up with the teaching progress, she would need to make up some lessons, after all, the professors would not slow down the teaching progress to accommodate this transfer student.

Of course, theoretically, Aileen Na could naturally tutor Luna's studies herself.

However, Aileen Na's schedule was already too full now. Other times were fine, but mainly the Potions assistant time every afternoon, and the three times a week Quidditch freshman team training, she definitely couldn't be with Luna during those two times.

And Hannah Abbott, who was also selected for the Quidditch freshman team, naturally couldn't miss the training either.

So in Aileen Na's opinion, Hermione Granger, with the titles of "Land-Walking Bird", "Humanoid Calculator", and "Miss Know-It-All", was undoubtedly the most suitable candidate to serve as Luna's after-school tutor at school.

"So you're saying?"

Hermione raised her eyebrows, her expression somewhat hesitant and puzzled. "According to what you mean, Aileen Na, from now on, Luna is following the Gryffindor House's curriculum - not with you, but with me?"

"That's right, the curriculum is temporarily arranged like this." Aileen Na nodded.

In addition, Aileen Na also hoped to take this opportunity to change the poor interpersonal relationship between Luna and Hermione in the original works of the previous life, and to familiarize these two little girls with each other as soon as possible, learning from and relying on each other.

It should be known that neither Luna nor Hermione knew how to integrate into a group of peers like she and Hannah did - being too smart and perceptive, and not knowing how to hide their personalities, they were easily ostracized and alienated.

"I understand. Don't worry, I'll help Luna catch up on the basics of magic as soon as possible."

After a few seconds of silence, Hermione met Luna's pair of agile silver-gray eyes and nodded particularly seriously.

Ever since she first saw Luna yesterday, she had a feeling that there was a wonderful aura on this girl that was extremely similar to her, but seemed completely opposite - a strange feeling that made Hermione couldn't help but want to get close, but also wanted to keep her distance.

"Um... I have another question, Sister Aileen Na."

Just then, Luna raised her head, glanced at the dazzling array of food on the table, and asked curiously.

"When will we start collecting and learning the image materials for the *A Bite of Hogwarts* section that you mentioned yesterday, as well as what photographic techniques? And what about the promotion and after-sales service of *The Quibbler*..."

"Well..."

Aileen Na smiled slightly. Before she could finish speaking, she heard a chaotic sound coming from above her head.

Hundreds of owls swarmed in, circling the Great Hall, dropping letters and packages into the talking crowd. It was the daily owl messenger time again.

Among the flock of birds, the Reserve Rations let out a cheerful cry, and in the astonished gazes of a group of round-faced chubby chickens, swaggered into the hollow cylindrical area above Aileen Na's head, then fluttered its wings and landed lightly from mid-air, placing a tightly wrapped package between Aileen Na's knees.

Afterwards, the little owl obediently squatted on Aileen Na's shoulder, ingratiatingly nuzzling its little master's face with its little head.

Aileen Na lovingly scraped the Reserve Ration's little beak, casually tearing off a piece of bacon and feeding it to the Reserve Ration, lowered her head and touched the package in her arms, a look of joy appeared on her face, and turned her head to look at Luna happily and said.

"Luna, your magic camera has arrived. We can start taking the first batch of photos this morning."
