Mysterious Journey

Chapter 612: Nana-min, Attack!

While the "RoHard" duo successfully advanced the dungeon to the fifth level, thanks to Hermione's cheat sheets, exceptional flying skills, masterful chess play, and Harry and Draco's previous outstanding performance in Potions class, Ron Weasley was rendered combat-ineffective due to encountering his soul's nemesis—giant spiders.

With only Harry and Draco remaining, they were clearly no match for three adult Acromantulas who had been starving all day. Fear caused the two young wizards to only perform at thirty or forty percent of their potential, and perhaps even lower had they not known that Eileen was nearby.

*Boom!*

Seeing an Acromantula's black chelicerae about to strike down on Harry, who had been forced into a corner, Eileen shook her head. Casually raising her wand, she blasted the horse-sized spider away.

"You failed. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed..."

Removing her invisibility cloak, Eileen walked towards the three terrified young boys, speaking with some disappointment.

"They're just three beasts with low intelligence, whose fangs were even removed beforehand. If you had performed normally, even two of you could have passed—they were arguably the easiest opponents, fragile and lacking in lethality."

"Actually, actually we could have..."

Facing Eileen's lake-blue eyes, Draco pulled Harry and Ron to their feet, trying to explain something.

Before Draco Malfoy could gather his thoughts, Eileen waved her hand, saying calmly, "Alright, failure is failure. Remember what I told you? When you fail, everything you say sounds like an excuse. Summarize the reasons, find a solution, and come back again next time."

After pausing slightly, Eileen glanced at Ron, who was still pale, and continued, "As for you, Ron... If this had happened in the Forbidden Forest, would you have abandoned your companions and run—or frozen on the ground and watched your friends sacrifice themselves to save you? Just because you were facing a group of, well, slightly larger spiders? If you really encounter such danger in the wild, there may not always be someone to save you."

Ron stared blankly at the giant spider covered in black hair, and the pair of black chelicerae slowly opening and closing. He swallowed with difficulty, and a hint of shame appeared on his terrified face.

"Big... Big Sister, but spiders are really something I can't..."

"Weasley, did you enjoy the crab legs in the school hall a while ago?"

Eileen suddenly asked casually. As she spoke, the girl walked over to an Acromantula that had been struck by Harry and Draco's spells, was lying curled up in a weakened state, and looked like it wasn't going to survive.

*Crunch, crunch, crunch.*

With a series of crisp sounds, Eileen skillfully broke off the eight long legs of the soft-shell spider crab and threw them into Harry's arms, turning back with a devilish smile.

"These are your favorite crab legs, Harry. Take them to the kitchen later and have the house-elves prepare them for you. The three of you can share them—since you chose to kill to pass, you can't waste food..."

"Wa-Wait, it's not dead yet..."

Harry Potter looked in horror at the Acromantula that seemed to still be trembling slightly, and the other two giant spiders that suddenly crawled up from the ground around it, swaying and disappearing into the shadows behind them.

"Incendio!"

Before Harry could finish speaking, Eileen drew her wand and waved it gently at the spider ball on the ground.

A dazzling flame erupted from the tip of the girl's wand, instantly engulfing the Acromantula's body. A foul, burnt smell quickly filled the room... along with a slightly tempting aroma of cooked protein.

"Don't look at me like that. These are all Acromantulas, a Forbidden Forest specialty of Hogwarts, raised artificially with the approval of the Ministry of Magic—Acromantulas have extremely high commercial breeding value. Alright, let's go back, the venue needs to be changed."

Eileen lightly snapped her fingers, and two house-elves appeared silently in the room.

One led the three still-dazed young boys towards the "dungeon exit," while the other stayed behind, casting elf magic to restore the level that had been messed up by the battle, and to deal with the charred spider ball on the ground.

Watching the young wizards disappear into the end of the tunnel, Eileen pondered slightly.

"The next group should be 'NanaMin,' right? In that case, change the venue, activate Plan B, and be ready to open the sixth level at any time... I guess this level probably won't be able to stop them."

Eileen was naturally aware of the information about the four houses holding strategy group meetings.

In fact, this was precisely the situation that the school's professors, as well as Dumbledore and she, hoped to promote and see. Compared to a simple test, breaking down the house walls further through such a large-scale event was clearly more important.

On the other hand, this was also an excellent opportunity to improve the professors' image in the students' eyes, and to show what role the knowledge of each subject plays in practice—if this pilot program was successful, they might consider keeping this dungeon permanently.

Of course, in the near future, the form of the dungeon will certainly not be limited to the current content.

If there were no accidents, in addition to the professors of the main subjects, the professors of elective courses should also gradually participate in improving and enriching the 'plot and challenge' content, and the number of people and the dungeon entry method will gradually become more flexible.

As for the rewards, they were the simplest.

Whether it was introducing a credit or GPA mechanism, or continuing to use money and food for stimulation, or even as daily tasks, weekly tasks, school festivals... Eileen, who had experienced the information explosion of later generations, had too many methods.

And for the current Eileen·Third Generation Black Lord·Destined Heiress·Fairy Queen·Gringotts Proprietor·Hogwarts Chef·Potions Assistant·Quidditch Silver Demon·Kaslana, choosing the most appropriate one from the many ways was what made her feel the most headache.

……

Meanwhile, in the Hogwarts Great Hall.

"I know what kind of spiders you encountered. Acromantulas are classified as XXXXX-level dangerous creatures in *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them*. Even if their venomous fangs are removed, they are still a very troublesome creature."

Hermione Granger summarized softly, thoughtfully, carefully recalling everything that Ron, Harry, and Draco had recounted. Her bright brown eyes shone under the light of the torches around the hall.

"So, the fifth level's test is simulating a battle against magical creatures..."

"The highest level of danger?! Have the professors gone mad?"

"Oh my god, a three-person team challenging Acromantulas, why not just put a dragon in the basement?!"

"I've seen records of this evil creature, they eat people! They eat people!"

Following Hermione's voice, a series of uneasy whispers instantly echoed throughout the hall.

Although there had been speculation about the difficulty of the fifth level of the "Defense Against the Dark Arts test," the sudden appearance of this terrible creature had made the young wizards feel extremely scared. This was different from the professors' magic, this was a real man-eating beast.

"Listen to me, it's not as difficult as you think."

In the midst of the discussion, Draco Malfoy clapped his hands forcefully, looking around at the older students, as well as the somewhat curious Hermione and others. He swallowed and said earnestly, "If Harry and I had performed normally, we could have passed the fifth level. Even in the midst of the panic, Harry and I worked together to defeat two Acromantulas. If we could calm down and perform at our usual level, whether it was surviving for ten minutes or directly defeating them, it wouldn't be a difficult thing. Moreover..."

Draco Malfoy hesitated and glanced at Ron Weasley, who was sitting in the corner like a statue, staring silently at the roasted crab legs in his hand that were emitting a strange fragrance. He thought about it and didn't reveal that information.

The ironclad facts were right in front of him, and it was a huge soul shock for Ron Weasley.

Ever since the "RoHard" duo watched the house-elves skillfully cook the "crab legs," the three of them were still a little dazed, not knowing what mood they should face these delicacies that they had been eating for so long.

"Indeed, these spiders, apart from being a bit faster, aren't too dangerous!"

Just then, Ron, who had been sitting on the edge of the crowd like a marble statue, suddenly stood up.

As if he had made up his mind, Ron Weasley, with a look of resignation, took a bite of the snow-white "soft-shell crab meat," feeling the familiar freshness and chicken-like tenderness spread in his mouth.

Slowly, Ron's expression calmed down, and his voice no longer trembled.

"Just follow the three-person team from the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Even using the simplest magic shock can cause damage to those ugly spiders... Granger, you guys will definitely pass this level."

"If it's still spiders, then it's not a big problem."

Hermione Granger nodded, frowning, and tapped her finger lightly on the table.

"However, I'm a little worried. Listening to you, Eileen said 'change the venue' at the end, instead of the usual 'reset the venue.' Combining the situation of the previous levels, I suspect that this level may be an assessment of various magical creatures and venues—after all, simply increasing the number will not bring about qualitative changes, unless the content and venue are changed at the same time..."

"Hermione, you think too much, always worrying about this and that..."

Luna Lovegood patted Hermione's waist, jumped down from the chair nimbly, and stretched.

Compared to Hermione's methodical analysis, Luna actually preferred to improvise. Moreover, as a "zero grade" student, she didn't have much psychological pressure for this dungeon strategy operation. Even if she didn't pass, she could come back next year.

"Anyway, wouldn't we know by going directly to see? I have a feeling that even if the content of the fifth level changes, it won't be too difficult. In short, let's go bring back more useful information for everyone. By the way, in the third level..."

"Yes, Professor McGonagall's chess skills are indeed very strong. I won't be capricious this time—although I can't guarantee that I can win against Professor McGonagall every time, if it's just a simple exchange of pieces, there aren't too many problems."

Hermione replied earnestly, turning to look at Hannah Abbott beside her.

"As for the key to the second level, I'll leave it to you..."

"Don't worry, I'm the Chaser of the champion team! Let's go! Target, the fourth floor corridor!"

Hannah confidently raised the flying broom in her hand, and a sparkling silver star shone at the front of the broom.

…………

A moment later, the entrance to the fourth floor corridor "dungeon" of Hogwarts.

Eileen glanced at the three confident little wings, and the large group of strategy group members behind the girls, with anticipation and excitement in their eyes. She smiled playfully.

"Hermione, Hannah, Luna, you're finally here."

It seemed that the first collective strategy exchange was going very smoothly.

As usual, Eileen registered this challenge list, and handed the parchment in her hand to Peeves, who was waiting excitedly on the side, asking him to notify the house-elves to adjust the challenge difficulty of the subsequent levels.

While waiting for the dungeon to open, Eileen waved her fist as usual.

"No matter what difficulties you encounter, don't be afraid! I'll be with you throughout the whole process! Let's go!"
