Generally, people tend to lump time-travel and rebirth together as a single plot device.
But in reality, these are two distinctly different external aids: prescience and unique knowledge and worldview.
In the magical world, time travel isn't entirely impossible. As time goes on, with Dumbledore's wisdom, it's impossible he hasn't speculated that perhaps—Aileen Caustella is a visitor from the future.
But due to the existence of prophecies and the mysteries of the soul, a strange paradox forms in a way:
If everything happens only at the soul level, then people can never definitively say who the "seer" is—He can be seen as a seer loaded with some future information, or as a future person storing past information.
It's just that they don't care about these details.
From time to time, geniuses appear in the world, as if reborn, carrying some existing knowledge in various fields, and then...they quickly reach the pinnacle of their knowledge and fall back into the mud.
And in the non-magical world, that might be high school, college, or even a doctorate...but eventually, they will stop somewhere.
It's like sprinting forward on a long track.
Whether it's memory inheritance or future prediction, there must be a limit.
When this happens in the long river of time, in front of elders like a one hundred and ten-year-old Dumbledore, a six hundred and sixty-six-year-old Nicolas Flamel...they are more concerned with the direction of travel, not the length of time.
In other words...
"Miss Caustella, why do you think—this might be the last chance for the magical world?"
Dumbledore picked up the book "The Ghosts of Hogwarts" from the table, flipping through it with interest, "If it's just to conquer the world or accelerate to a predictable level in the future, then I have reservations about this special invitation."
"It's very simple, at some point in the future...magic disappears."
Aileen said frankly, the girl's lake-blue eyes seemed to contain flames.
"A future without magic is not the future I want—I don't know if those bad things will happen, but I think we have the ability to change it now, at least I think there should be a better option."
"So, I hope to unite all forces that can be united."
Aileen looked calmly at the three old wizards in the room, and said softly.
"In terms of how to handle multiple relationships, the new world order, laws...and even the administrative system, the balance point, Sir Nicholas's experience is crucial—if we really succeed in opening a new world, then we also need someone to completely close the door of the old world. And Sir Nicholas, Mr. [World], you are that person..."
"I see, so you chose this main card for Nick..."
Nicolas Flamel picked up the card from the table, staring intently at the Tarot card he created.
This is the last main card, symbolizing the end.
Undoubtedly, this is a very heavy card.
If the task of "0-The Fool" is the starting point of everything, then "21-The World" means the end of the old world and the coming of the new world. It symbolizes the beginning of the cycle, the endless journey, a stable cycle and rhythm, symbolizing infinite vitality, and endless power...
In addition to the Fool, this card has accumulated the characteristics of all previous cards.
In a sense, [The World] can almost be regarded as the final destination and collection of all previous cards.
"...So, Miss Caustella, how do you want me to help you?"
Sir Nicholas's voice gradually became steady and deep, looking at Aileen with a hint of assessment.
"Just like assisting Henry VIII back then, establishing an empire for the world's first 'magic emperor'? If I understand correctly, you can launch a war at any time and win easily—therefore, in your plan, I am actually acting as the Chief Secretary of State, managing the territory after your victory, is that right?"
Magic emperor?
Chief Secretary of State?
"Unfortunately, your understanding may be somewhat biased...times have changed, sir."
Aileen shrugged with a strange expression, and replied helplessly.
"Monarchy, well, whether it is absolute monarchy or constitutional monarchy, that is an ancient feudal society. Human civilization has now entered a new period of capitalism and the primary stage of socialism standing side by side—there will be no good end to trying to turn back the wheel of history...dictatorial empire is too bad..."
Power breeds corruption, and absolute power breeds absolute corruption.
"Without centralization, there is no execution, you will eventually become the queen of the new world—"
The first Earl of Isaacs shook his head and said firmly, "Perhaps in the non-magical world, a昏庸incapable magic emperor would lead to the destruction of the kingdom, but in the magical world, there is another option..."
He glanced at Nicolas Flamel sitting not far away, and said meaningfully in a low voice.
"An immortal magic dynasty that lasts for hundreds of years..."
Wasn't that what he was worried about when he abandoned the contract and risked his life to maintain the law and order.
Nearly Headless Nick never imagined that just when he thought he had successfully buried history and made the ambitions of the magical world disappear completely, Hogwarts gave birth to an unprecedented witch.
The Philosopher's Stone, Gringotts, Hogwarts, the layout of the non-magical world, the previous generation of dark magic forces...
Just these tip of the iceberg that emerged from the sea was enough to easily subvert the world.
"Everyone will die, including me—as for the magic emperor, ha—"
Aileen stared at Nearly Headless Nick's semi-transparent body, smiling and said softly.
"The world I expect is much more difficult than a magic dynasty, it almost has to overturn the whole world once, after all, in my cognition, the most perfect form of [magic-science] civilization is that ghost."
"That...ghost?" Nick frowned in confusion.
"Well, the large-scale popularization of magic means liberating productivity, which means a great surplus of materials, which means the collapse of knowledge blockade and class differentiation—when wealth gradually loses its meaning, and people gradually get rid of their 'dependence on things', unfair distribution of wealth and exploitation will be eliminated, thereby maximizing the power of civilization."
Aileen held up a finger, with a smile on her lips, and said seriously.
"Think about it, when imperial power no longer exists, and capital loses its claws..."
"After realizing this, all the forces of the old world, the Ministry of Magic and the Holy See, pure-blood families and Muggle consortiums, brutal dictators and cunning capitalist politicians...they will inevitably unite to carry out a holy crusade against us."
"Sorry, I still don't understand what you mean—but it sounds not very good."
Nearly Headless Nick frowned even tighter, and said confusedly.
"In short," Aileen said cheerfully and softly, "I plan to establish a brand new social system, eliminate privileges, eliminate exploitation, so that everyone can get fairness in a broad sense, and fundamentally defeat class division."
"That's impossible! That's too idealistic."
Nick couldn't help but laugh, looking at Aileen with a strange expression.
"First of all, what is fairness in a broad sense?"
"The emperor breaks the law and is guilty of the same crime as the common people; the old have support, and the young are cared for; equal educational opportunities, a fair employment environment, resource allocation follows the optimal solution; no high or low, everyone performs their duties, eliminating disputes."
"Miss Caustella!"
Nearly Headless Nick was stunned, looking at Aileen as if he were looking at a madman.
"Haven't you understood what the real world is like? This is not building castles on the beach! People with power and status will enjoy a better life, and there must be a distinction between superiors and subordinates in the operation of society...This is reality, not a fantasy world depicted in the books of Muggle religions! Unless you can become an omnipotent god."
"No, even gods are not omnipotent—for example, they cannot create stones that they cannot lift."
Aileen took out her wand and casually played with it back and forth in her hand.
"Miracles and magic exist, right?"
"If the memory inheritance magic is perfected, then we can achieve equality in education in a broad sense; if the magic system of farming and breeding is supplemented, then the gap in clothing, food, housing, and transportation will be reduced to the extreme; there may be differences in the division of labor in various industries, but this is based on social operation, not the embodiment of identity and power..."
Aileen's wand lightly tapped in the air, depicting high-definition 3D projections one after another.
"Yes, if viewed from the perspective of people in the past, then this is the power of God—just like the scene when the first ray of magic light lit up in the darkness, the ancient ancestors looked at the wizards—but this is just our daily life."
"Science—"
Under the night, the lights of Salzburg lit up one by one in Nick's eyes.
"Magic—"
In the flames, one wizard after another with packages passed through the fireplace and appeared all over the world.
"Times have changed, Sir Nicholas."
Aileen waved her hand gently, dispersing those illusions in the air.
"At least from the perspective of feasibility, magic can greatly allow humans to overcome the 'dependence on things'. When the value of wealth gradually transforms from capital into actual social behavior, class privilege will naturally disappear by a large margin."
"Ah this..."
Nick opened his mouth and carefully thought about the loopholes in Aileen's words.
"But—but I think," Nick frowned heavily, "there are big differences between the non-magical world and the magical world, this is the difference between human constitutions, wizards and Muggles even see different worlds, for example me..."
"Then find a way to make them feel it, tell them, record it as knowledge."
Aileen interrupted without hesitation, "In addition to ghosts, there are too many things that the naked eye can't see. Humans cannot see electromagnetic waves with wavelengths outside the range of 380nm to 760nm, we call them ultraviolet rays and infrared rays—but this does not affect the non-magical world's understanding of it. Humans cannot see how electrons rotate and move, but we can draw patterns..."
She gently brushed the stack of Tarot cards on the table with her right hand, stroking some of the missing positions.
"At this moment, not far from the castle, thousands of scholars are racking their brains."
"If the naked eye cannot detect magic, then use instruments; if the instruments cannot do the job, then invent better instruments."
"Magic and science are just two parallel paths for human beings to understand the world. The world is there and will not disappear because of this. As long as either side arrives, it can dispel the fog for human civilization."
She said, winking at Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel.

"Not to mention, we are still committed to researching magical life and magical intelligence, so that magic can be carried around and integrated into everyone's daily life—from daily necessities to military industry, from medicine to building materials—there are already many gratifying phased results, and some have even begun to be put into use."
"So, these things...those ideals...are you two also in favor of them?"
Nearly Headless Nick said, his eyes thoughtfully sweeping over the stack of incomplete Tarot cards.
In addition to the [The World] placed in front of him, there are now seven main cards missing.
He just saw the [The Magician] card in Nicolas Flamel's hand, and according to the conversation between Aileen and Dumbledore, the two also obviously each own a corresponding main card, which means...
"There are four more people..."
Nearly Headless Nick quickly calculated in his heart.
In this mysterious organization, there are four top wizards who are as important as Nicolas Flamel, Albus Dumbledore, Thomas Cromwell, and Aileen Caustella...if Paracelsus counts as one, there are three more.
"One last question, if, if you really encounter obstacles...what do you plan to do?"
Nearly Headless Nick stared into Aileen's eyes and asked softly.
"Well, first of all, I will try my best to persuade them—"
Aileen replied with a smile, "We have a lot of negotiation experts, who are experienced and skilled. In the magical world, it's best to value peace and sit down and talk calmly. I believe we can definitely reach a reconciliation."
"What if you can't persuade them?"
Nick shrugged his shoulders indifferently and continued to ask seriously.
"You should be clear that this is almost like being enemies with the whole world, have you considered it?"
"Huh? How could it be being enemies with the world?"
Aileen blinked in confusion, revealing an innocent smile.
"Isn't the world on our side? What I originally thought was that being enemies with us is being enemies with the world—of course, I believe that there are no unreasonable people in this world, and I firmly believe this."
"What do you think?"
Aileen glanced at the ghost gentleman who was playing with the semi-transparent Tarot card in his hand.
"Mr. [The World]. Welcome to join—the new world."
