Munni freshened up in Yisen’s bathroom, and since she didn’t have any change of clothes, she had to wear Yisen’s bathrobe.
When she walked out of Yisen’s room, he had already washed up in another bathroom and was preparing breakfast in the kitchen.
Seeing Munni wearing a bathrobe that didn’t fit her well as she walked into the kitchen, Yisen’s lips curled slightly, "Good morning, Munni."
Facing his charming smile, Munni felt inexplicably flustered and pointed toward the door, "I’ll head back first."
"I’ve already prepared breakfast, let’s eat together before you go."
Munni quickly shook her head and refused his kindness, "No need."
Saying this, she hurried her pace, attempting to flee from his home.
Seeing her firm rejection, Yisen promptly put down the plate he was holding and strode out of the kitchen to catch up with Munni.
Just as Munni’s hand grasped the door handle, she was suddenly caught off guard and pulled back by Yisen who had rushed up to her.
Already tense and anxious, she was startled, subconsciously widening her eyes in panic as she turned back to look at the smiling Yisen.
Yisen took a few steps closer to her, forcing Munni to be sandwiched between him and the door, her face full of tension and vigilance.
Yisen gently reached out to smooth her long hair by her ear, and then, bowing slightly, he kindly retied the loose knot of the bathrobe she was wearing around her waist.
After tying the knot, he raised his gentle brows and gazed into Munni’s eyes, which were as soft as water; he softly parted his thin lips, speaking in an incredibly tender tone, "Let me escort you back."
"No need, I can go back by myself."
Yisen ignored her refusal, took her hand, and opened the door, leading her out.
"You look so captivating, I’m afraid someone might have ill intentions towards you."
Munni: "...!"
She thought the person she should be most worried about having ill intentions toward her was him, who was holding her hand.
"Um..."
As they stepped into the elevator, Munni appeared troubled, murmuring with her lips slightly parted, seemingly wanting to say something but hesitating.
Yisen slightly raised his eyebrow, the elevator mirror reflecting his handsome figure, and facing her, his face unconsciously showing a pampering expression.
"Last night, we both drank too much. So... it was a mistake, right?"
Yisen acted as if he didn’t understand Munni’s words, questioning with a puzzled tone, "Hm? What was a mistake?"
Munni could clearly see he was pretending to be confused, and she raised her head, glaring at him in displeasure, her eyes carrying a somewhat threatening meaning.
Receiving her complaining gaze, Yisen finally nodded as if he suddenly understood, "Ah, you mean it was a mistake that we got involved?"
Blushing at his blunt mention of their mistake last night, Munni’s face flashed with a hint of shame, and she glared at Yisen even more fiercely.
If looks could kill, Yisen would have been riddled with holes by now.
