Jiaojiao wriggled a bit when first picked up, not really wanting to be held. However, once Ruan Jun started scratching her chin, she purred contentedly and stopped resisting, nestling comfortably in his arms.
Ruan Jie, coming down from upstairs, felt a pang of envy seeing this scene.
