Chapter 1769: Chapter 395:
Headache.
Cao Zhen continued to dig the vein in front of him. If he could use Immortal energy, this vein would be easy to mine. However, right now, without using Immortal energy, the mining was difficult.
Just as he had excavated about halfway through the vein, a series of low rumbling sounds came from behind him.
He had observed earlier that there were about fifty Giant Beastkin below. However, with such a number charging, it felt like a thousand cavalry charging forward, causing the ground to tremble continuously.
Cao Zhen quickly turned around, his Longsword appearing in his hand. He watched as the Giant Beastkin charged up the mountain, lifted his foot, and suddenly launched himself forward, transforming into a streak of light, shooting out instantly.
His feet rapidly scraped against the ground, leaving two distinct marks on it.
If he could avoid using Immortal energy, it would be better not to. For now, he could only employ Swordsmanship to fight these Giant Beastkin and assess the situation.
Though he didn’t use Immortal energy, his speed remained astonishing, and in an instant, he appeared before one of the Giant Beastkin. The Giant Beastkin obviously didn’t expect this human to suddenly appear before him, and a clear look of shock appeared in his huge eyes.
Before he could react, the Longsword had already stabbed out, straight into the area between his legs.
The main issue was that these Giant Beastkin were really tall. To hit other vital parts, he would have to jump to stab them. Without jumping, this was the only vital part he could readily reach.
"Puff..."
A sound resembling something shattering echoed.
Immediately, the Giant Beastkin let out a cry of extreme pain.
The vital area had been pierced, and he seemed to go mad instantly, swinging his curved blade fiercely towards the small human before him.
The curved blade sliced through the air, leaving two clear, white marks, carrying a force as if it could shatter a Great Stone, crashing down.
Suddenly, Cao Zhen swiftly turned his body, sidestepping quickly, and the Sharp Sword in his hand stabbed out once more.
Immediately, another sound similar to something breaking rang out.
After Cao Zhen had stabbed twice, his gaze suddenly sharpened, as another Giant Beastkin from the side realized what was happening and swung its curved blade down towards his head.
Cao Zhen quickly turned to one side while swinging his sword to stab.
In his haste, he didn’t aim for the vital area between the legs, but the next moment, he felt his Sharp Sword strike something akin to iron, a metallic ring that can only come from metal clashing, and he could distinctly feel the force of recoil from his Sharp Sword.
The Longsword stabbed into the other Giant Beastkin’s thigh, and immediately, the rock-hard thigh was torn open, with bright red blood flowing out. Through the bloody hole in the thigh, the white bones could be distinctly seen.
After Cao Zhen stabbed with his sword, he saw the Giant Beastkin rushing towards him from all directions, quickly turned around, and retreated backward.
Although this area was small, there was still space to maneuver.
Behind, the Twin Sword Immortal stared at the Giant Beastkin with its thigh bleeding profusely after being wounded and drew a sharp breath. This sword strike was terrifying in its power!
The distinctive characteristic of the Giant Beastkin was their immense strength and incredibly sturdy bodies. Now, Ye Liangchen, without being able to use Immortal energy and even while evading, nonchalantly unleashed a sword strike. This strike undoubtedly didn’t fully utilize Mana, but even so, it pierced through the opponent’s leg, exposing the bone. How much strength did this strike possess!
This Ye Liangchen seems even stronger than I imagined!
Surprised, She quickly withdrew her gaze, as a group of Giant Beastkin charged towards her and her two companions.
"Retreat!"
The three of them, the Twin Sword Immortal included, similarly moved back, as these Giant Beastkin possessed great strength and sturdy bodies, but they lacked agility, making retreat the best strategy.
As they retreated, the Giant Beastkin quickly surrounded them, coming in from all directions.
Cao Zhen also retreated, but even as he did, the Sharp Sword in his hand continued to stab out, each strike hitting a Giant Beastkin.
For a moment, streams of bright red blood continuously sprayed out.
The bodies of these Giant Beastkin were really large, and he could hit them easily with a casual sword swing.
Suddenly, to his side, a curved blade slashed down, and Cao Zhen shifted his steps, as if treading the Big Dipper, twisting his body in a very strange manner to dodge the descending blade.
On the other side, another Giant Beastkin also slashed down with a blade, blocking another angle.
If the human dodged, this blade would hit the human perfectly.
Yet the human before them evaded in an incredibly strange manner at an angle.
Immediately, their blades slashed down, but ended up colliding with one another, producing a crisp sound.
Both seemed to have used all their strength in their strikes, and upon collision, their bodies wobbled and swayed to the sides.
There’s an opportunity!
Cao Zhen, who was about to leave, suddenly shifted his body again, advancing suddenly instead of retreating, and stabbed towards the two retreating Giant Beastkin.
Immediately, the Sharp Sword danced, creating visible sword marks in the Void. These Longsword apparitions vaguely formed into a Sword Array.
