Chapter 562: I am the prize

Chapter 562: I am the prize

Vergil handed the keys to the gold Lamborghini to the hotel driver with a simple gesture. The young man swallowed hard as he approached the car, as if entrusted with guarding a cursed treasure.

“Don’t scratch it,” Vergil said with a half-smile, his gaze cold and lazy.

“Y-yes, sir!” the young man replied, nearly tripping over his own tongue as he started the engine.

The hotel lobby was a spectacle in itself. Crystal chandeliers hung like frozen waterfalls, and the white marble reflected the golden light from strategically placed lampshades. Everyone in the room paused for a moment to watch the trio walk through the main doors.

Vergil.

To his right, Alexa, wearing a tight black dress that accentuated every wild curve of her body. Her wolfish gaze sparked with mischief, and her every step seemed like a promise of chaos.

To the left, Kaguya, the moon empress. Her silver dress hugged her body like liquid silk, reflecting the lobby lights. Her bearing was worthy of a queen, and her crimson eyes surveyed the room as if towering above all.

There was no ignoring them. They weren’t just beautiful presences; they were entities.

Vergil didn’t wait at the front desk. He’d already made the reservations, and the hotel system seemed almost afraid of his arrival. A hurried employee simply bowed, handing over the access card.

The trio headed for the private elevators, Kaguya and Alexa’s heels echoing like war drums on the polished marble.

As soon as the doors closed, isolating them from the outside world, the atmosphere changed.

The elegant silence of the elevator was broken with a bold gesture. Alexa leaned into Vergil’s right side, her full lips brushing against his neck, leaving a hot trail of desire.

“You smell like sin…” she whispered, nibbling lightly on his skin.

At the same moment, Kaguya, without wasting time, approached from the other side. Her lips parted in a serene smile before she gently bit his earlobe.

“And the temptation is mine, not hers.” Her voice was like cracking crystal, sweet and sharp at the same time.

Vergil closed his eyes for a moment, feeling the contrast. Alexa’s warm tongue against his neck. Kaguya’s delicate teeth against his earlobe. The two opposing forces, wild and majestic, competing for the same prize: him.

He let out a low, deep laugh that vibrated in the air of the elevator.

“You two seem quite… excited,” he said, his voice drawling, laden with irony.

Alexa pressed her lips even tighter against his skin, growling softly.

“Who said I’m going to share you, Vergil?” “You don’t know how to play,” she whispered, sliding her hand down his chest, feeling the fabric of his jacket and the firmness beneath.

Kaguya didn’t flinch. Instead, her cool fingers slid to the back of his neck, holding him with the authority of an empress.

“Don’t fool yourself, little bitch. He’s not yours to share. He’s already mine.”

Alexa’s gaze lifted, wild flames burning in her golden eyes.

“Don’t you know how to play, Your Highness?” she countered, smiling wickedly. “Because I’ll play with him until he howls my name.”

Kaguya laughed. A low, elegant sound, yet sharp as a blade.

“And I’ll make him forget even your face.”

Vergil opened his eyes and lifted his chin, staring at the illuminated elevator panel, as if he weren’t being fought over by two predators. His smile grew, lazy, almost cruel.

“Hm.” “That’s what I love about you two. Always turning any place into a battlefield.”

He inclined his head first to Alexa, then to Kaguya, his blue gaze flickering between them.

“But don’t forget…” His voice lowered, almost a seductive growl. “I’m the one holding the reins here.”

The words fell like a whip.

Alexa gasped slightly, biting her lower lip, her body vibrating with excitement at his authoritative tone. Kaguya, on the other hand, only smiled wider, her crimson eyes shining with silent acceptance—and provocation.

The elevator continued upward, the air growing heavier by the second.

A discreet “ding” announced their arrival. The doors opened, revealing the luxurious hallway of the presidential floor. Red carpet, golden walls, and immense doors that seemed to hold secrets.

Vergil stepped out first, the two women still clasped in his arms. The hotel employee was already waiting at the suite door, bowing hurriedly as he handed over the key.

“Have a wonderful stay, gentlemen… ladies…” the young man stammered before disappearing, almost running.

Vergil simply opened the door, pushing it open with his foot.

The room wasn’t a room. It was an empire. Chandeliers, huge windows that showed the entire Las Vegas view, leather sofas, a digital fireplace, and a bed so large it seemed made for gods.

Vergil walked in as if he owned the place. Alexa and Kaguya followed, their heels clicking on the hardwood floor.

He turned to them, the lazy smile still present, but his blue eyes sparkling with the promise of something more.

“So…” he murmured, taking off his jacket and tossing it onto the nearest armchair. “Where were we again?”

Vergil had barely finished the sentence, still adjusting the collar of his shirt, when Alexa broke free.

With a low, savage growl, she yanked him by the nape of the neck and attacked his mouth.

Her kiss was fierce, hungry, an invasion that burned like fire. Her tongue was demanding, her lips pressed against his as if to devour him whole. Alexa molded herself to his body, pressing him against her firm chest, letting out a hoarse moan that sounded like forbidden music.

Vergil smiled against her lips. He wasn’t a man to allow himself to be dominated, but the wolf’s ardor amused him.

It was then that Kaguya, with the icy air of an outraged queen, advanced.

“Insolent…” she murmured, her voice low but lethal.

With a firm gesture, she pushed Alexa aside, tearing the wolf’s lips from Vergil’s. Her crimson gaze flashed with defiance as she leaned in, taking her place.

And Kaguya’s kiss was the opposite. Not fire, but moon. A cold, deep, elegant kiss that seemed to plunge into his soul. Her mouth moved with almost cruel precision, savoring every second, as if time were hers—and his, too.

Vergil arched an eyebrow, letting himself be overcome by the contrast. Alexa’s taste still burned in his mouth, now covered by Kaguya’s icy sweetness.

But Alexa would not accept defeat.

“Arrogant bitch!” she growled, advancing again.

Without hesitation, she cupped Vergil’s face and captured his lips again, vying for space with Kaguya. Their tongues met, brushing against each other in the midst of the three-way kiss, like two predators fighting for the same territory.

Kaguya didn’t back down. Alexa didn’t give up.

Vergil, in the eye of the storm, simply closed his eyes and chuckled softly between kisses, feeling every drop of lust, rivalry, and desire pulsing from both of them.

It was a spectacle.

A war waged with lips, teeth, and panting breaths.

And he was the prize.
