Her eyes were already a bit uncomfortable from not being fully awake. She cried yesterday, didn’t sleep the night before, and now her eyes were heavily circled and bagged. Her bright and big eyes made Ye Gushen feel a pang of sorrow.
Ye Gushen held her in his arms. Upon waking, he noticed that the food on the table was untouched. The girl leaned against him, her small hand tightly clinging to him. He had no recollection of how he got to the hospital.

"I’m hungry too."
"Then let’s eat together!" Tang Suiyu immediately got up. When she saw the untouched food from last night, her face instantly turned bitter. "Oh no, oh no, I’m doomed. If my mom sees that I didn’t eat, she’s definitely going to scold me!"
Ye Gushen leaned against the headboard, watching her hurriedly get up, grab the food containers, and rush into the bathroom.
She came out empty-handed.
"It’s over. I threw the food containers in the bathroom trash..." Tang Suiyu frowned, running to him. "Uncle Ye, could you vouch for me? Tell them I ate dinner last night!"

Just then, her stomach growled.
"I’ll give you a kiss! Help me keep it a secret!" Tang Suiyu lowered her head and kissed him.
Ye Gushen’s eyes revealed a satisfied, faint smile. He reached out to straighten her messy sleepwear.
Tang Suiyu stared at him without blinking. "Did you meet Feng Li before? Did you go to the cave to find me?"
"I did! So I asked him to go back and find you!" Ye Gushen stared at her noticeably thinner face. "It’s so dangerous there. Don’t go there ever again!"
"I should be the one saying that! How could you carelessly leave me in such a dangerous place? What if, just what if, someone came to where I was staying and caught me? What then? I’d rather stick with you!" Tang Suiyu’s eyes welled up with tears. She didn’t want to cry but couldn’t help it!
Ye Gushen felt he was wrong no matter what he did!
His pampering gaze stayed on his little wife, his thumb wiping away her lingering tears. "Good girl, don’t cry. I’ll feel bad."
Tang Suiyu suddenly broke into a smile through her tears. "Your punishment is to eat more in a bit!"

The doctor came in to check on Ye Gushen. Tang Suiyu anxiously stood by, afraid something might be wrong!
