Chapter 504: Reunion
Nikolai stepped off the plane and into the welcome gates while rolling his neck, the pain slightly comfortable as it snapped into place with a crack. He looked around the busy airport and smiled. His shoulders dropped, and he took a deep breath.
“Ah~ it’s good to be home.”
“Mm, it feels weird to have left for so long.” Leona stepped behind him, wearing a neat black gown with a white trim and holding a small black purse, her eyes watching him with a soft glint.
“Nnnn, the flight was so long I got a good nap.”
Anya stepped ahead in her denim shorts with high-waist striped thigh highs and a long t-shirt and then leaned back on Nikolai, letting her body rest against him with a thud. She’d been well behaved this time, and there wasn’t another competition like on the flight to Brittania.
He looked back while stroking her hair and called out. “Vernan, how was the flight?” The big bear looked so amusing in his full human form. A tall but chubby guy who resembled those power lifters and strongmen. While wearing a jumper and pants, he looked nothing like the black bear from the arena.
“Ugh, my head hurts and I’m dying for a drink.”
The next person to walk out of the gates was Clara. She wore a floating sundress with multiple layers of frills that bounced with each step.
“It’s a little cold~ I’m glad I wore these.” She spun around, revealing her thick tights and socks, before skipping towards Nikolai and taking his right arm. Nikolai just watched her swing her hips and bump Anya to the side with a victorious smile, and asked him a question in a cute voice. “Keep me warm, darling?”
Nikolai laughed softly and squeezed Clara’s hand, his thumb brushing the back of her fingers. “Alright, alright. Come here before you freeze.”
Anya clicked her tongue and shifted closer on his other side, looping her arm through his free one as if she hadn’t just lost a tiny territorial battle. “Don’t hog him.”
Clara stuck her tongue out but didn’t let go.
Anya and Clara knew their moments together would become shorter after returning home.
Yet they still couldn’t stop their petty competition.
Leona walked quietly behind them. Nikolai thought that if her tail was out, it might sway from side to side with her happiness. He knew that being close was enough for her right now, so he tried to prioritise her.
“Do you insist on going back to work?” He whispered while the others argued with each other.
“I really like leading those girls… is it wrong?”
The way she looked up at him with her soft eyes drove Nikolai mad. “No, it’s really sexy and admirable.” He brushed the hair from her cheek and smiled. “Do what makes you happy.”
“Mhm, I will.”
“Feels like a parade,” Vernan grumbled, stretching his thick shoulders as they followed the signs toward baggage claim. “We’re missing drums.”
“Careful,” Nikolai said with a grin. “I might just buy you a drum set, bear.”
“Hmph. Stupid, stop flirting and let’s go.”
The closer they got to the exit, the louder the terminal became. The rolling suitcases, loud voices calling names, camera shutters snapping. Nikolai’s ears twitched at the sound of a few heartbeats he recognised long before he saw them.
Then they stepped past the final security gate.
***
Bright paper signs rose above the waiting crowd.
WELCOME HOME, DARLING! was written in glittery red across one huge banner. Another sign read his name in carefully drawn calligraphy, obviously Kumiko’s handwriting.
And standing beneath the signs were his wives.
Selene came first, her beautiful blonde hair loose and sharp red eyes half closed as she almost flew across the arrivals zone.
Nikolai spread his arms and stepped forward.
Thud!
He caught her and spun twice, lifting her in the air before they kissed.
Her familiar scent overwhelmed his nostrils as their tongues coiled around each other. Selene’s fangs sank slightly into his tongue as she playfully sucked a few gulps of blood.
“I missed you so much, Nikolai.”
“Selene.”
Nikolai’s chest thrummed, his mouth and nose filled with her taste. Unable to stop himself, he kissed her face, neck, cheeks and throat. Then he noticed how big her stomach became, and the small but gentle beating hearts inside it. “You’ve grown well.”
“Hmph?! Are you calling me fat?” She pouted before showing a fierce look and biting neep into his neck. “Idiot, stupid… I missed you so much and you call me fat!”
“Ugh… I meant our children, you damn woman!”
“Nn?”
The moment he spoke, her face became bright red as she pulled away, her teeth leaving marks in his neck. “R-Really?”
“Of course, you always look beautiful to me.”
Selene stared into his eyes, while Nikolai just smiled back. The throbbing in his neck hurt, but it also carried the lingering sensation of Selene’s passionate love towards him.
“Now, now, how about you stop hogging him, Selene.” A more mature and sensual voice echoed as Amphitrite stepped forward, pulling the pregnant vampire back two steps. “You look ravishing as always, darling.”
He watched his seductive mermaid wife for a moment before she tucked her pink curls behind her ear. “You’re too seductive.” He kissed her.
Amphitrite’s kiss lingered after they pulled apart, warm and slow, tasting faintly of the sea. She pulled back with a sly smile, fingers trailing down his chest. “Mmm… so damn still solid. I was worried you’d hurt yourself again.”
“You’re just as perverted as I remember, Amphitrite.”
Nikolai lifted her off the ground, squeezing her buttocks as she purred into his ears. “Hm? Your ass feels bigger… did you put on weight?” He chuckled before she snorted and licked his ear with her long tongue.
“Foolish boy~ did you forget you knocked me up?”
Her sultry tone vibrated in his ears several times before he realised what she said. “Really!?” Nikolai checked her while mid-air, but her stomach was quite flat… to which she giggled and cupped his cheeks.
“Mhm, we’re not like humans… I assure you, I’ll give birth to many cute girls who will adore their handsome father.”
“Ampihtrite…!”
“Hmm.” She tapped one painted nail to her lip, then slipped close and brushed a single kiss against his cheek. A deliberate peck full of affection.
“Welcome home, foolish husband.”
There was a sudden flicker of light as the temperature dropped. Nikolai watched as Amphitrite winked at him and stepped back.
The air shimmered faintly as Lunaria stepped from the crowd, wearing a peach kimono with white trims, pale hair like snow. She didn’t speak, run or jump and instead reached up to his cheeks and pulled him close.
Her soft pink lips wrapped around his as she started sucking on them, a warm, sticky. They became wetter as she pushed her tongue inside his mouth. It was long, soft and felt amazing.
“Mmmph.”
“Nn…”
Their kiss lasted for what seemed like an hour until she pulled away.
“I missed you so dearly, Kai. My sister, and Nikita too… she wanted to be here, but my sister Nikita is probably going to give birth soon.” Her fingers squished Nikolai’s cheeks as she told him what had happened in the past month while kissing him every few sentences.
“Damn, I’m so jealous… why did she win the bet!?”
Behind her, a woman with black hair, a sensual aura and emerald eyes complained. Stood beside her was an elegant woman with golden hair and a black and red kimono.
“Oh Risa~ don’t be so angry, look at how happy our husband is.”
“Kumiko, you’re just too nice! He’s brought back more women! Look that girl, and Anya… both of them are his women now!”
“But, that’s just how charming our husband is, no?”
“Tsk! If only I weren’t pregnant.”
“Fufu, such a lovely kitty, just go to him I know you can’t hold back.”
A sudden squeal cut the calm: “Darling!”
Risa launched herself out of the crowd like a missile of frills and laughter, wrapping her arms and legs around him before he could brace. “I was dying waiting!”
“Risa—careful!” He shouted, her once lean frame now slightly plump with a small belly poking out; clearly, her pregnancy was further along than she had told him.
Not to mention her breasts, once a small size, now looked amazing.
However, Risa just rubbed her cheek against his, while purring like an actual cat. “I missed you, I missed you so damn much, you idiot wolf!”
Selene, Lunaria and Amphitrite didn’t cause any issues; each of them stepped aside when the next woman came. He followed their movements and noticed them getting along with Leona, who spoke politely.
“You can’t forget Kumi, baby.” Risa, although clinging to him, pulled away and pointed to the calm, gentle woman in a kimono.
‘Without her fox ears, she looks so different…’
“Risa? You don’t have to do this…” Kumiko whispered in her soft and elegant tone. She shifted to the side and avoided Nikolai’s gaze. But he stepped closer with a smile on his face.
“Oh, I recognise you.” Nikolai’s smile grew as he hugged Kumiko, his hands stroking her back, before stopping on her hips.
“You’re Kumiko’s clone, right?”
He paused, enjoying her sudden trembling body. “The one that slept with me while trying to pretend you were the original.”
“Ah!? You noticed?”
She looked shocked, but with her cheeks bright red and the change in her atmosphere showed him everything.
“Of course, although Kumiko is my wife. All of you are parts of Kumiko and thus I’m married to each and every one of you.”
“Nnngh…!”
“Don’t just drool over Kumiko!”
“Hey, Nikolai!”
His women started to complain one by one, in a large group… and somehow he couldn’t help but smile brightly, with Risa in one arm and Kumiko’s clone in the other.
“Haha, this is what it’s like. I finally feel like I’ve come home.”
