Chapter 890: Chapter 890: [Extra] I Miss You Very Much

After a while, the doctor came out from inside, holding a few sheets of paper and walked over to the young man.

"We just performed basic health, parasite, and virus checks on this cat. Aside from the injuries, there are no major issues.

The wounds have been treated, and an external parasite treatment has been done. If you want to take it home, just make sure to handle disinfection and cleaning properly.

Additionally, its current nutritional condition is poor. It would be best to bring it back for vaccination after half a month, and then bring it in for regular check-ups afterwards."

"Okay, thank you!" The young man nodded, picking up the orange cat from the ground.

The orange cat seemed unused to human affection, possibly due to being a stray for a long time, and appeared somewhat resistant when picked up.

Sheng Ning’an then realized she had misunderstood; he was just there to get his pet checked, like her, rather than a new hospital staff member,

After the doctor finished their explanation, they looked at Sheng Ning’an and said, "Miss Sheng, you’re here?"

"I’m troubling you again." Sheng Ning’an handed Little Cutie to them.

The doctor took Little Cutie inside for examination.

The young man finally managed to calm the little creature in his arms. Watching Little Cutie being taken inside, he suddenly said, "Um, can I add you on WeChat?"

"Sorry, I have a boyfriend." Sheng Ning’an refused him smoothly.

"Don’t misunderstand, I just want to make a friend." The young man explained, looking at the orange cat in his arms, "It’s my first time raising a cat, and I don’t have much experience. Seeing how well you take care of yours, I wanted to learn some tips from you."

Sheng Ning’an then understood it was her misunderstanding and took out her phone, saying, "Sure, you can ask me any questions about raising cats in the future." After all, with some experience under her belt, Sheng Ning’an considered herself somewhat knowledgeable.

Thinking that they’re both cat lovers, maybe she could really help him out.

During the examination, the two shared more cat-care tips. In the end, the young man looked at her and said, "Thank you! I’ve taken so much of your time; it’s almost noon. How about I treat you to lunch?"

"No need, my boyfriend’s waiting for me." He might genuinely be trying to thank her, but to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, Sheng Ning’an still chose to refuse.

"I see, alright then. Maybe another time, I’ll treat you to a meal." The young man remained gentle and courteous throughout.

Sheng Ning’an thought maybe she was just overthinking.

Just then, Little Cutie finished the check-up. Sheng Ning’an received her cat from the doctor, packed her into the pet carrier, and bid farewell to the young man, "I’ll head off now. If you have any cat-related questions, feel free to ask me."

"Sure!" The young man smiled and thanked her.

Sheng Ning’an turned around with the cat carrier, and as she looked up, she saw a familiar figure standing at the door.

The sunlight was perfect, shining brightly on the figure, slightly dazzling.

Sheng Ning’an paused, somewhat incredulous, but once she assured herself she wasn’t mistaken, she quickly ran to the person and asked, "You’re back?"

"Yes, I’m back." Xu Weiran opened his arms toward her, and Sheng Ning’an smiled, diving into his embrace.

Ignoring the gazes of those in the store, they hugged each other right at the entrance.

Sheng Ning’an looked up at him and asked, "Is the project finished?"

"Yes, it’s finished!"

Maybe it was the surprise of suddenly seeing him, Sheng Ning’an didn’t know what to say for a moment.

The next second, she saw Xu Weiran lower his head, placing his chin on her forehead, and whisper softly, "Sheng Ning’an, I missed you very much!"
