Chapter 1279: Part 3: Fighting against Julian
From MC’s Perspective:
Boom! Boom!
We have been exchanging fist attacks. My body was stronger than before. Though I’m not getting harmed.
But there is a sense of crisis coming from Julian who is right now burning the bloodline power.
"Die!"
Julian uses an attack technique all of a sudden. A powerful metal force shot from his arms. His bloodline element is metal.
My eyes flickered with an understanding before I raised my fist to block the attack. In a flash, I covered my fist with the thunder one force.
Thunderclap!
Like a powerful thunderclap my fist strikes the metal force.
Boom!
A deafening noise occurs. The metal force is easily destroyed by the Thunder One Force. Because of the sense of crisis I’m keeping guard against Julian.
The shock force shook the barrier.
Julain went into rage because of the failed attack. He then brings out a bloodline technique to attack.
Boom!
A sharp blade appears in the air. It’s a blade made of metal force. Julain made a vertical slash at Zack Lockwood without further thought.
Slash!
The sharp blade easily cuts through the air as if there was no resistance.
On the other hand, I was taken aback. Under my perception, I spotted that blade was moving faster than usual.
Another realization occurred in my mind. It could be a variant of the metal element. So I should not take any chances.
Then I raised my hand and pointed my forefinger at the coming blade attack.
"Lightning Finger!"
I executed the finger move. A thunder one force revolves around my finger before shooting towards the target.
Boom!
The purple lightning went across in a straight line before piercing through the metal blade. The attack didn’t stop there.
Swoosh!
The purple line continues to go towards the main target.
Julian’s eyes were bloodshot. He is still under the state of the blood burning. Right after seeing another attack failing.
He increased the blood burning process. He felt a big boost from the bloodline again. He immediately used defensive technique.
A long silver shield appeared covering him. Right then, the purple line struck the shield.
Boom!
An explosion occurs. The deafening noise and shock force shook the barrier again.
At the same time, the abnormal purple lightning began to act. It started weakening the metal shield.
It didn’t take long for the crack to appear. The purple line was thick and strong. In a flash, the cracks started to spread.
It covered the remaining shield. Julian’s face changes before he could make a retreat. The purple line pierced through the shield and came to hit his chest directly.
Boom!
The attack sent Julian to crash into the barrier again. Not only that, lightning power starts rampaging. The blood burning process was hindered.
Julian is feeling terrible pain. The pain is coming from the bloodline side effects and Purple lightning hurting the organs.
Everyone can see Julian was covered in purple cobwebs. But only Julian knew that these purple lines are lightning which are harming him.
Above the duel platform, the Dean Jerome and the Purple Mark Guard are watching the duel. The outcome has been decided.
They have no doubt that Zack Lockwood will be the winner. But this duel is going to be a lesson for Zack Lockwood.
"Dean, do you think the kid will use the forbidden runes?" The Purple Mark Guard asked.
"The rune mark attacks are unique to high bloodline warriors for both the human and monster bloodlines. I don’t know whether Julian has learned that attack," Jerome asked.
But he is thinking about something else in his heart. Everyone knows that Zack Lockwood can defeat any opponent if he uses Inheritance force.
Knowing that Julian had challenged for a life and death duel. Jerome wonders where the confidence comes from?
He can only think of the rune type attacks. If the Bloodline Warriors learned to use rune type attacks. Then they are formidable.
But depending upon the rune they can only be used one or two times. Klein Family’s bloodline known for madness.
If Julian has a rune type attack under his sleeve, then Julian has a slight chance to win the duel. But he doesn’t want to remind Zack Lockwood.
He can’t save him every time. This duel is a test for Zack Lockwood.
If Zack Lockwood hears it he would be shocked to the core. The sense of crisis he is feeling from Julian is because of the rune mark.

Seeing Zack Lockwood using the Thunder One Force. Faction Leader Clifford is feeling relaxed right now. He was not worried about other things anymore.
According to him, Zack Lockwood has won the duel already. He is now fighting against Julain to gain experience.
The other Faction Leaders are having dumbstruck expressions. They couldn’t believe Zack Lockwood is using Inheritance force in front of them.
They ignored Julian completely. Instead they focused on Zack Lockwood. The familiar atmospheric thunder striking the opponents takes them back to the memory lane.
They couldn’t help wondering who the previous owner of the purple lightning force was. Because there are some inheritances which could use atmospheric lightning.
All of them are Faction Leaders they knew quite about the inheritances all over the word. So they were curious about Zack Lockwood’s Inheritance.
Faction Leader Clifford laughing in his heart. Others don’t know that it’s Red Mark Level Inheritance. But he knows the reasons why it was confusing to others.
Right now, the thunder one force released by Zack Lockdwood is hurting the opponent. Julian’s bloodline power is comparable to the Ancient Inheritance.
Only Ancient Inheritance can compete against other Ancient Inheritance. Because of the inheritance force’s power.
Here, Zack Lockwood is showing this much power because of the purple lightning seed. The purple lightning seed is increasing the power of the Thunder One Force.
So he knew it won’t be easy for others to figure out the identity of Zack Lockwood’s Inheritance.
The Faction Leader Francesca was shocked right now. She was sure that Zack Lockwood’s Inheritance was nothing to do with purple lightning.
So the appearance of the purple lightning Inheritance force confused and shocked her.
