Witch Aiko settled herself on the bed while Danji hugged her.
"What were you trying to accomplish with that?" Danji was curious, since she knew Aiko would not really play around like that.
"I wanted to pull Mei into a dream to have a conversation, since I don't have any Communication Talismans or anything like that." Witch Aiko nodded her head.
"I have one." Danji giggled.
"I know, it's hard to get-" Witch Aiko stiffened. "You have one?" She didn't expect that at all.
"Yeah?" Danji was startled that Aiko was so stunned.
Witch Aiko groaned. All that for nothing! She was quite upset at herself for not asking about that.
"Can I have one?" Witch Aiko perked her ears.
"Maybe~" Danji lay on her back, her bountiful chest following her.
"Tsk." Witch Aiko clicked her tongue. "I don't have enough energy for more."
"You do, but you can't think about it." Danji rolled her eyes as she pinched Aiko's ass.
"Auchie." Witch Aiko pouted. "C'mon~ gimme one." She was not one for persuasions.
"You will have to treat me well." Danji licked her lips.
"I already treated you well?" Witch Aiko was confused.
"C'mon, this was not a one-time thing." Danji sighed.
"That's obvious." Witch Aiko nodded her head.
"Huh?" Danji didn't expect that. "Weren't you aiming for Mei?"
"I'm." Witch Aiko tilted her head, not understanding what Danji meant.
"Don't you think Mei will be against this?" Danji didn't think that Aiko was so...
"Would she? But it was kind of obvious?" Witch Aiko didn't understand why this was supposed to be a bad thing.
Mei liked her, so she would be with Mei. Danji liked her, so she would also be with her. If someone else appeared, it would only make her family bigger.
"Bigger family, happy family." Witch Aiko nodded her head, explaining her reasoning to Danji.
Danji laughed heartily. She absolutely didn't expect this kind of thing from Aiko. Was she so innocent or just not used to rules?
"Forget rules and those kinds of things. You all like me, and I like you, end of the story." Witch Aiko snorted unhappily. "Why do you have to make everything so obnoxiously difficult?"
Danji laughed again, even catching her own stomach.
"I think that Mei will lose her mind." Danji shook her head. Aiko was too abnormal, even when it came to her thinking.
"Isn't that obvious? I already got some practice with you." Witch Aiko licked her lips.
"Hey! Don't treat me as a test subject!" Danji pouted.
"Well, you were the first one to approach me." Witch Aiko shrugged-laughed.
*bite*
Danji bit Aiko for this, but she didn't really dislike this approach.
'If I'm the one being experimented on, that means Aiko will always pick me first~' The silent war has now begun.
"Maybe I just also bring Mei into this." Witch Aiko believed that it would be hot if both Danji and Mei went at it.
And that silent war also quickly ended with Danji being speechless yet again.
"Don't you think that Mei will hate you for this?" At this point, Danji started to worry about Mei's sanity.
"Of course not immediately, but teasing her should be a good way to start." Witch Aiko nodded her head.
"No." Danji crossed her arms.
"Okay." Witch Aiko nodded her head again. She was still oblivious about certain things, so it was better to listen to someone more mature.
*sigh*
Danji audibly sighed. This might be a lot more troublesome than she might expect.
"Here, just don't talk about us just yet." Danji didn't need Mei to throw a fit before the whole war was over.
"Okay~" Witch Aiko hummed. She was more than happy to talk with Mei.
The Communication Talisman hummed gently.
"Blood Fox?" Mei's startled voice sounded from beyond.
"Yo~ How are you doing?" Witch Aiko giggled.
"How is she doing?" Mei audibly pursed her lips.
"Danji is fine, she is resting now." Witch Aiko nodded her head. "She was contracted, but it was overwritten, somewhat."
"Oh..." Mei didn't know what to say. She never considered the Bl-
"Wait, Danji?" Mei was once again startled.
"Yeah, I gave her that name after Evolution." Witch Aiko hummed happily.
Mei's lips twitched.
"So... you wouldn't happen to know anything about that red Moon, right?" Mei was feeling quite generous, but even she wanted to strangle Aiko!
*Whistle*
Witch Aiko whistled innocently.
Mei audibly sighed. "Is she doing better?"
"My body just aches, and I have an unsettling feeling inside my body, but I'm fine." Danji smiled.
"When are you returning?" Mei pondered on what to do next, since this was really flashy, even their water turned bloody red, but fortunately, it still tasted like water.
"We are going to the Inscription Association for evaluation (to rob)." Witch Aiko hummed.
"That's perfect. What about Chen Shi?" Mei asked warily.
"Of course, I want to solve the issue with Lady Liu, but for that, I need to enter that temple or whatever that was." Witch Aiko sighed.
"Weren't you kicked out before?" Mei raised her eyebrow and shook her head.
"Am I the same?" Witch Aiko snorted unhappily.
"... just don't burn that place down." Mei sighed. "And take care... Danji..." She sighed again. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I knew what I was getting myself into, but it seems like the mainland is interfering." Danji Snorted.
"They can do whatever they want. The Delegation is no longer protecting their Elders since they broke a big taboo." Mei licked her lips.
"And since 'that' special stone is not working for Foxes that were supposedly bound, they still believe you are lost, so you can be more... eccentric, like you always do." Mei giggled.
"Stone?" Witch Aiko tilted her head.
"The one that tells if you are betrayed, alive, or dead, the one inside the Fox Village." Mei was a bit speechless that Aiko had forgotten.
"Oh, yeah, what about it?" Witch Aiko completely forgot about it, but even if that stone said something about her, it would be-
"Wait, so the dead Foxes might not be dead, because they were bound to the Sacred Realm? And if they are contracted, they can take them out, right?" Witch Aiko suddenly realised this.
"..." Mei pursed her lips. She didn't expect Aiko to be able to guess this with just a simple hint.
"Whoa..." Witch Aiko nodded her head. "They were fantastic. Do we know how many Foxes died?" She narrowed her eyes.
"We don't know." Mei sighed. That was not the only special stone they had, so it might be possible there were thousands and thousands of Foxes, if not more.
"Well, that is too bad." Witch Aiko sighed. "Anyway, Chen Shi, Poling Ghost, Robbing Temple, is that all?" She recounted what she had to do.
"Your inner thoughts are leaking." Mei rolled her eyes.
"Are they?" Witch Aiko pouted. It was not like she would change her plans just because others overheard them...
"Fine, fine, just be careful, you are already breaking the minds of those around you, so at least give them some compensation." Mei sighed. She could feel her headache returning, but it was a good thing that... Danji... and Aiko wouldn't return any time soon.
"Why does it seem like we shouldn't return?" Witch Aiko tilted her head.
"You will have to return, since their mind will shatter when they see you. It will make the war so much easier." Mei chuckled darkly.
"Oh, I'm definitely looking forward to that~" Witch Aiko chuckled darkly too.
"Count me in. I need to figure out how much stronger I got." Danji chuckled with them.
"Very well." Mei didn't reject this motion.
The Communication Talisman burned out, cutting the conversation.
"We need more of these useful things." Witch Aiko liked this a lot more than trying to pull someone into a dream.
"They can't be obtained that easily, especially these long-distance Talismans." Danji shook her head.
"We can just use my blood to make them. It should pack enough energy~" Witch Aiko hummed.
"Yes, that's exactly the problem." Danji sighed.
"Huh?" Witch Aiko didn't understand why that would be a problem.
"Because your blood is too precious, it would incinerate any kind of talisman paper instantly, driving the costs even higher." Danji shook her head.
"There is no way that my blood is so useless!" Witch Aiko didn't want to admit it.
"Well, it's not useless." Danji smirked.
"Good." Witch Aiko was happy with just that.
"Since we can make rejuvenating talismans for bedtime stories~" Danji teased her.
"Hey!" Witch Aiko slapped that jiggly ass out of anger.
"Not right now, my body still aches." Danji teased her even more.
"Don't steal my job!" Witch Aiko growled at her in anger. Everyone was starting to steal her job, and she didn't like it!
"En, en~" Danji hummed while lying in bed. "Wake me up when we arrive."
Witch Aiko rolled her eyes and gave her another slap for good measure.
-----
Mei sighed gently.
"More trouble?" Dai Lu giggled.
"Trouble? Trouble, alright." Mei sighed again. "... Danji... is fine, but she was contracted. Fortunately, Aiko was able to pick her up and deal with it, although I have no idea how, since that Contract is just oppressive." She shook her head.
"Danji? New name? Strange one, depending on how you write it." Dai Lu shook her head.
"Don't mention it, it might have some kind of obscure meaning." Mei rolled her eyes.
"Would Aiko put so much thought into it?" Dai Lu raised her eyebrow.
"For Treasure? No. But for a companion, she would probably do her best." Mei wanted to believe that. Otherwise, she would scold Aiko when she returned!
"Anyway." Dai Lu shook her head again. "The Delegation is playing nice now, cleaning their hands off this issue completely."
"Are they now?" Mei snorted. "We will deal with them on the way to the mainland." She wouldn't take this lying down.
"Is that a good idea?" Dai Lu was still not well enough to measure against them.
"Don't worry, Aiko probably has some exotic poisons on her that we can use." Mei chuckled darkly again. "Not to mention, I intend to finish healing your tails before we leave, since your body is almost completely purified~" She smiled.
"That would be nice. Even if they retaliate, we will be able to deal with them." Dai Lu smiled. "But I also have another idea~"
"Oho~" Mei and Dai Lu chuckled darkly, like they were cut from the same cloth...
