Chapter 462: 458, sis, let Nathan send you.

Olivia Zane glanced towards the door of the hospital room, "Where’s Nathan? Why didn’t he come with you?"

Asked so bluntly by Olivia Zane, Titus Zane looked down with a smile, hiding his guilt very well.

"I just returned to T city and didn’t see Nathan Moore."

Staring at Titus Zane’s lowered lashes, Olivia Zane sneered inwardly, but maintained a gentle appearance on the outside, feigning dissatisfaction.

"Nathan really should have been there; my big sister comes back from so far away, and he doesn’t even pick you up from the airport. Wait until he comes here later, I won’t let him off easy!"

"No, don’t,"

Titus Zane immediately interjected, looking up into Olivia Zane’s eyes. Realizing that his response might have been excessive, he smiled and said, "I’m used to flying back and forth alone. You’re in the hospital; he must be very busy."

"Well, exactly." Olivia Zane took the cue from Titus Zane, "He just called to say he’s on the way. The breakfast stalls outside have rice porridge and steamed buns, but he insisted on bringing them from home."

Titus Zane simply smiled, saying nothing. For some reason, hearing that Nathan Moore was going out of his way to bring breakfast made her feel somewhat uncomfortable.

She remembered that since getting on the plane yesterday, she hadn’t had a single grain of rice to eat, yet no one seemed to care whether she had breakfast or not.

"Sis, what’s wrong?" Seeing that Titus Zane was looking down in silence, Olivia Zane asked. In fact, she had already taken note of her sister’s dejection.

"It’s nothing. Maybe I just didn’t rest well; my head feels a bit dizzy." Titus Zane raised her head and rubbed her temple as she spoke to Olivia Zane.

"Oh, then let Nathan drive you back to rest later. Anyway, I’m going to be discharged from the hospital today."

"Why not stay a few more days? Has your body recovered?"

Ignoring Olivia Zane’s suggestion to have Nathan Moore take her back, Titus Zane asked. Although her relationship with Olivia Zane was not very close, after all, she was her own sister. The bond of blood was not so easily broken.

"No more staying." Olivia Zane’s mood turned gloomy all of a sudden, as she looked down and fiddled with the bedsheet underneath her, "It’s an old problem. Continuing to stay won’t make a difference. It’s better to go home and be comfortable."

Titus Zane looked down, her expression became heavy, "I’m sorry."

Their mother Ariana Evans said that her sister Olivia Zane had a recurrence of her heart disease and was hospitalized— and the instigator of her heart disease was none other than herself. If she hadn’t been so impulsive back then... it all could have been avoided...

"Sis, what are you talking about? So many years have passed, and besides, you didn’t mean for it to happen," Olivia Zane looked up disapprovingly at Titus Zane. The guilt in Titus Zane’s heart deepened even more. Meeting Olivia Zane’s eyes, she said, "If possible, I wish I was the one who got sick."

"Really?" There was an emotion in Olivia Zane’s eyes that Titus Zane couldn’t understand, but it was only for a moment before she frowned again and complained, "Look at you, in your thirties and still saying such naive things. Aren’t you afraid people will laugh at you if they hear you?"

Watching Olivia Zane’s face full of smiles, Titus Zane also lifted the corners of her lips.

Perhaps it was because she had walked away from death’s door once, so Olivia Zane seemed to have changed a lot towards her, at least not as hostile as before.

As the sisters were chatting, Nathan Moore came in holding a food container.

Seeing Titus Zane, he didn’t greet her, but walked straight past her to the other side of the bed, setting up the small dining table on top of the bed and laying out the items from the food container one by one.

"Nathan, how come you don’t greet your sister when you see her?"

Olivia Zane reproached disapprovingly. Nathan Moore looked up at Titus Zane sitting opposite him and said indifferently, "I’m here."

Then, not waiting for a response from Titus Zane, he turned and walked towards the bathroom.

Titus Zane stood up, "Olivia, I’ll head back first. I took a midnight flight last night, and I want to catch up on some sleep."

For some reason, being treated with such indifference by Nathan Moore made her feel very uncomfortable, so she wanted to leave this place of conflict.

"Oh, sis, wait and let Nathan drive you home."

Before Titus Zane could even open her mouth to refuse, Nathan Moore’s voice preempted.

"I’m busy."
