Capítulo 1981: Chapter 1981: Forced into a Corner
Amon was completely bewildered. In his view, although some of his attackers were of mediocre strength, a few of them were beyond comprehension by common logic.
The two terrifying genuine Giant Dragons might not have the physical toughness of the Rock Dragon King of this world, but in other aspects, they far surpassed it, even possessing mastery over domains and laws. They wielded a kind of power he didn’t understand, which seemed to him to be the pinnacle of pure and formidable force.
Various tactics emerged endlessly. If there were only the two of them, he might manage, as his rank was higher than theirs. But with the addition of the Water elemental viscount, it was a different story altogether. This fearsome entity almost completely countered his form.
There was also a huge monster, though only camp-level in strength, adept at water spells, crashing around within the blood dragon’s body, causing him a great deal of discomfort.
The four main forces, combined with other so-called battle companions, made him utterly miserable, with no ability to fight back.
Now he believed it: the other side was undoubtedly a lord of sorts. With such strength, and an army capable of existing in the void, if they had no place, then what hope did he have.
With this realization, and having already been embarrassed, pride no longer mattered, and Amon suddenly wanted to retreat, beginning a rapid escape from the battlefield.
He wished to retreat back into the chaotic turbulence, willing to endure some attacks.
“Hehehe, do you think you can escape?” A path glittering with the power of Wind Thunder, the Blue Dragon Queen blocked his way, the violent storm causing Amon to back off.
It wasn’t genuine fear, but rather knowing that if he were ensnared, others would close in, making it even harder to escape.
However, what made her face ugly was that she saw another Blue Dragon Queen rushing over.
Amon nearly cursed out loud; what the hell was this situation? With her perception, she naturally knew neither of them was an illusion, but apart from Wind Thunder, they were completely identical. Clearly, they were the same person and not a clone.
“What on earth is going on, damned creatures, what kind of monstrous freaks are you?” Amon really began to doubt his life; today’s experience was too surreal.
“You can’t escape, so why struggle fearlessly? That’s how I am; if there’s no battle, so be it. If you insist on a death fight, I will certainly be fully prepared. You might as well give up that blood dragon form.”
But she continued to flee without any hesitation, quickly turning around, only to be greeted by whip shadows.
The whips struck her body as if flogging her soul, causing her to let out a harrowing scream.
“Divine Artifact…”
Amon screamed, astonished; only a Divine Artifact could cause such soul-rending pain.
“This path is blocked too.” The Succubus Queen laughed lightly as she flicked the whip, but this smile struck fear into Amon’s heart.
The blood dragon howled miserably, blasted away, and at this point, her desire to escape burned even more urgently. While flying backward from the whip, she fled again in the opposite direction.
Bang…
With endless steam, two enormous entities collided fiercely, halting Amon’s movements once more.
“I haven’t had a grand battle for a long time. I hope you don’t fall so quickly.”
The Hellhound Demigod’s enormous form floated in the void, its Hellfire Eye continuously scorching the blood dragon, vaporizing its blood into a blood mist that dissipated into the void.
“Damn, a deity, and a deity with a body.”
This time, Amon truly felt his soul flee, as if thunder had rolled over him. Damn it, if you had a deity, why didn’t you release it earlier? Only an idiot would oppose you. Whatever you want, just say it; we can discuss it properly. Why insist on playing like this?
The sea monster took the opportunity to add another hole to the blood dragon, but the Hellhound Demigod was furious, headbutting the sea monster away.
Li Yao quickly unsummoned the sea monster, scolding angrily, “Insolence, after being locked up for so long, you’re still unruly. Do you want to remain in darkness? Then I’ll grant you that.”
The Hellhound Demigod shuddered, quickly pleading, “Master’s master, please have mercy; I’ll never dare again. I’ll beat this bastard to death right now, ensuring no delay in the matter. I just got too excited from the battle. Let the master whip me ten thousand times; just don’t leave me alone again.”
The Hellhound Demigod began a frenzied attack. Even though it was weakened, it was enough for Amon to suffer. Previously under Hakkar’s command, it was part of one of the Burning Legion’s vanguard legions, having decimated countless planes, fighting innumerable battles; it was a top-notch demigod. Even weakened, it was beyond Amon’s capability to handle.
Moreover, with the brief delay, other pets had also arrived. This truly became a formidable group siege.
The spellcasters cast spells to bombard the blood dragon, while those adept in close combat began to slice it up, causing Amon to scream over and over.
With no hope of escape, he let out a heart-wrenching scream. If only the blood dragon were being hurt, the pain, though intense, wouldn’t be as excruciating and agonizing. But the Queen’s guarding power, the queen’s whip, and the Hellhound could all harm her soul.
Now there was no chance for the soul to escape, only constant struggle.
The salary kings in the distance stood in a daze, speechless, the changes happening too swiftly.
“This…so many super-powerful beings, this…” Dance King was incredulous, “These are all his battle companions? The plane is terrifying.”
“And a deity, seemingly very afraid of Prairie Fire, along with so many battle companions, how did he manage it?” The Great Witch was equally disbelieving, unable to describe her mood.
“Is this the foundation of a great lord? If a lord is like this, then what about the dominant races? And one alliance, above the three major camps are the Five Great Guardian Dragon Clans, with just four so terrifying. The Four Great Elemental Lords, ruling countless planes, the main gods, ancient gods, even the Moon God, I was doubtful before, but now…”
The Divine King looked dazed, finally understanding what kind of being he had provoked. His ancient pride vanished without a trace, leaving his heart mixed with countless emotions.
The other salary kings were no better off; this scene deeply shocked them, filling their hearts with genuine awe and boundless longing for the main plane. Such a grand world was where deserving men ought to be.
“Weren’t you just asking to cease battle? Now I don’t want to fight anymore; why don’t we each go our separate ways?” Amon saw Li Yao standing with his hands behind his back atop a terrifying giant star beast, as if enjoying a performance, and felt a chill creep into his heart.
Li Yao shook his head with a smile, “Nothing in this world is that simple. I told you earlier, they’re very busy. It was you who insisted on fighting, and now that they’ve come, you don’t want to fight? What do you think this is, child’s play? I said it, you’ll get no more of the blood dragon’s body.”…
