The flight was long, but exciting. Ambrose and Odette played truth or dare. Quickly pushing the boundaries of each other’s limits. Testing each other. The sexual tension in their first class seats was so thick a knife couldn’t cut it.
Ambrose wanted nothing more than to take Odette right then and there on the plane. All the ways he could bend over his defiant little princess.
The plane landed sooner than he would have liked.
When Odette stepped out into the snowy wilderness, she instantly felt the cold bite at her face. They were greeted by a large group of blue haired warriors. A trait of the ColdMoon Pack.
"Welcome Alpha King Ambrose and thank you for gracing our pack with your personal appearance. I did what I could with preparing for your arrival, but with it being such short notice, a residence in the pack house is all I can offer you. As you know we’ve been dealing with Rogues attacking us in an organized manner." Alpha Micca of the ColdMoon Pack started.
Ambrose interrupted him. "No special arrangements are needing to be made; I came to check on the status of the pack and to see how the resources I sent a few months back are being used."
Ambrose moved through the crunching snow with ease. While Odette struggled to pick up her legs. They rode a snow mobile into the packs main area.
Entering the packs gates, that was a different story. Ambrose could see the rushed job of some of the patch work on many of the houses. The smell of fear and death still lingered in the air. We parked the vehicles and walked over to the pack house in the center of the village. The pack’s village was shabby but looked well-fortified. They looked like they spent more on preservation of a wall than they did on what lied inside. Were these run down, old and batter shacks worth protecting?
The housing and business shops needed a lot of repairs, and maybe some paint.
’With this ultra white landscape, if they painted the building white with grey trimming and the walls an even mixture of white and grey, they could blend in more with their surroundings, making their buildings more difficult to target. It would provide better cover under nightfall.’ Odette thought to herself seeing the damage
"I’ve prepared rooms for you, Alpha King and Beta Damon, but that’s all the space we have, the women will stay with she-wolv..."
"No, this one is to stay with me in my room." Ambrose gave him an order, no way was he having his princess sleep anywhere else, but his bed, from now on. Definitely not after what happened on the plane. They had to finish their little game of Truth or Dare.
"Yes of course Alpha King." The Alpha Micca lowered his head in submission, however not before Ambrose caught Micca eyeing Odette, looking her up and down his eyes showing not just hate but lust. Ambrose could see it in his eyes, how he wanted to undress Odette and fuck her until she breaks.
It made his blood boil.
Ambrose turned to Odette and said "I’ll see you after my meeting. We will pick up where we left off."
"Alright, so let’s talk gentlemen. I’ve gotten reports, concerning ones, and when I arrived here, the claims don’t look to be false." Ambrose started "It seems the officials’ homes and pack house are well restored, but other homes and smaller businesses are currently in shambles. I see the defenses have increased, but with the abundance in resources that you’ve been sent, and funds that have been wired, there should be more than enough to fix up these homes."
"Alpha King, it’s not as simple as you make it sound." Alpha Micca complained.
"I don’t want your excuses, I want to know where my money and supplies have gone, Alpha Micca. Now bring me your ledgers and accounts, I plan to thoroughly investigate were the fund have been allocated. And you better pray to the goddess I don’t find shit." Ambrose’s alpha aura stretched from him; his voice was deep and commanding. They all knew exactly what he meant, a fate worse than death.
"Beta Damon, walk with their Beta and fetch me what I seek." Ambrose ordered.
Alpha Micca looked nervous, and that didn’t go unnoticed by Ambrose. He took note of the change in Alpha Micca’s attitude and posture. How his shoulders tightened, and the way he clenched his fists so tightly his knuckled turned white.
"We’ve had to reinforce a lot of our cities defenses and buy weaponry. With how frequent the attacks are coming, repairs have been harder to maintain and complete." Alpha Micca tried to explain.
Beta Damon came back with the Alpha Micca’s beta with the documents. And he hands them to Ambrose.
He takes them and starts to glance through them, and that’s when he noticed something.
"Some of these pages are missing. Where are they?" Ambrose narrowed his eyes and glared at the man.
"I... Uh... Um... I will have them located Alpha King Ambrose; I am sorry for my sloppy work." Alpha Micca was shaking; Ambrose could smell his fear from across the room.
Ambrose knew without a doubt now; something wasn’t adding up and someone fucked up somewhere and he’d find out. And if Alpha Micca is a little lying greedy shit, Ambrose planned to take his hands for theft and his tongue for lying.
"Locate them, or I’ll take one of your hands Alpha Micca." Ambrose spoke with an absolution that made the temperature in the room drop and the color on Alpha Micca’s face drained.
Odette hung back in the room going stir crazy waiting for Ambrose. Luckily when Ambrose arrived he had something for her to do. She was to find Alpha Micca’s mistake. She searched effortlessly through the documents and was able to immediately find the evidence they needed to take down Alpha Micca and his beta. Ambrose sent Damon to fetch the them both and bring them to him.
Damon brought the both the alpha and beta like Ambrose asked.
"Have a seat, gentlemen." Ambrose gestured to the table, servants walked around placing a plate loaded with food in front of them.
The two were nervous, fidgetily in their seats.
"You let children sleep in the cold so you could gamble? Are you seriously such a scum bag you’d let your own packs children shiver in the dead of night for some cards?" Ambrose yelled punching the man. Breaking his eye socket, the once strong and proud Alpha Micca was now a pathetic crumbled, bloodied mess on the floor.
He trembled beneath Ambrose’s unforgiving gaze.
His beta sat shaking and whimpering in his chair. Afraid for his Alpha and himself.
"I’m sorry, my king, please, just give me another chance.
Ambrose laughed loudly "Take him to the prison cells. Have his family join him, as well."
