Chapter 586: Chapter 443: Locust Swarm Passing Through (Part 3)

At 3:20 in the afternoon, Zhou Yun was ready to head downstairs.

Li Yuning had also received the news beforehand and was waiting for her outside.

Zhou Yun didn’t bring any sportswear and left the hotel in the same clothes she wore to the supermarket that morning.

As soon as she reached the hotel lobby, she received a message from Yin Zhou: I’m waiting for you in the lobby downstairs.

Zhou Yun looked up and saw Yin Zhou.

"I’m here!"

Yin Zhou had changed into standard sportswear and wore a baseball cap, looking youthful and brisk as he walked.

"You’re quick." Yin Zhou smiled when he saw Li Yuning behind Zhou Yun and asked, "Are they coming too?"

Zhou Yun asked, "Do you mind? If so, I’ll talk to them."

"No problem, what’s there to mind? It even adds to the show," Yin Zhou said with a laugh.

Zhou Yun: "Thanks."

"But I only called one car, they have so many people, they might need to call another," Yin Zhou said.

"No worries, they have arranged their own car," said Zhou Yun. "Let’s go then."

Yin Zhou agreed.

Zhou Yun and Yin Zhou sat in the back, with the cameraman in the passenger seat, turning around to film them.

"I also invited Yu Yhan, but she didn’t feel like coming, so it’s just the two of us," Yin Zhou said.

"Do you not know how to play at all?" asked Zhou Yun.

"I’ve played a few times, can serve and receive, but I’m pretty average. I don’t play badminton often."

"Me neither," said Zhou Yun. "It’s not that I don’t play badminton often; I just don’t like to be active. You must love sports, right?"

Yin Zhou, with his long arms and legs, had a well-muscled look that suggested he was quite active.

"I used to play basketball with classmates a lot in school, but less so after graduation. Mainly I go to the gym."

"Haha," Zhou Yun said, "Do all male celebrities go to the gym often?"

"Don’t you?" asked Yin Zhou.

"It’s not that I never go, but I’d rather eat less than exercise more," Zhou Yun admitted honestly.

"Working out is still good for your health."

Zhou Yun asked, "Do you go to bed early, then?"

Yin Zhou: "Uh, usually after midnight."

"Going to bed early is also good for your health," Zhou Yun said.

Yin Zhou: "Hahahaha."

He then understood why Zhou Yun asked him if he slept early.

Zhou Yun hugged a promotional plush toy on her lap, "Sorry, I got defensive again reflexively."

Upon reaching the sports hall, they got out of the car and walked inside. Yin Zhou called the coach he had arranged beforehand, and after a while, the coach appeared and took them to a badminton court.

The coach was very patient, corrected their serving postures first, and then let them play a match directly.

The game was naturally full of loopholes, lacking even simple tactical changes, and they struggled to handle regular serves and returns.

The coach focused mainly on correcting their postures and pointed out Zhou Yun’s weaknesses: lack of strength, and her hits were too light and floaty.

After playing for two hours, Zhou Yun was drenched in sweat.

"So tiring."

Yin Zhou brought over two bottles of drinks and handed one to her.

"Thanks."

Yin Zhou sat down next to Zhou Yun.

"It’s been a long time since I’ve sweated so heartily."

Zhou Yun alarmed: "Heartily?"

Yin Zhou laughed again.

"Do you girls have a strong aversion to sweating?"

"No, no, no, it’s just that I don’t like to exercise or sweat," Zhou Yun said. "I think I’ll definitely sleep super early today, I even suspect my arms will feel sore when I wake up tomorrow."

Yin Zhou said, "How about going for a massage later?"

Zhou Yun was tempted. But since she had already played a game with Yin Zhou and now was thinking about getting a massage together, she wondered if the audience might think there was something going on between them when the show aired. She shook her head, feeling she was being overly cautious, but indeed, she and Yin Zhou had just met recently; perhaps it was better to keep some distance.

"I’m a bit tired, let’s not go."

Yin Zhou nodded and said, "Then I’ll call for a car."

After Zhou Yun returned to the hotel, the first thing she did was take a shower.

To be honest, having a sweat-drenched workout followed by a comfortable bath felt really nice. Her fatigue seemed eased, and her body felt somewhat refreshed, though it might be just an illusion. But she felt good about herself. Zhou Yun refrained from drinking more sugary drinks, fearing gaining weight, boiled some water, and made herself a cup of herbal tea. She didn’t feel like going downstairs for dinner, so she washed an apple and had it as her meal. As she predicted, she felt sleepier earlier than usual that night, yawned, closed the script, and went to bed.

Lights out.
