Chapter 266: Chapter 266: Mobius Chair and Warlogog
[3rd POV]
With the decision to gather the last few objects made, Gwen personally had to go and find several of the objects due to the nature of them, as well as the difficulty that may come from obtaining them through clones.
These objects were: The Mobius Chair, The White Lantern Ring, The Warlogog, and the Phantom Power Ring.
The latter she had already gone and found herself, finding one of the various versions from throughout the universe. The ring itself was very powerful, but not nearly as strong as the White Lantern Ring itself.
The ring itself was able to use every emotional energy, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. It was basically an imperfect much weaker version of the white lantern ring.
It was also quite easy for her to steal, as it wasn’t guarded and was weaker than her in each of the emotions, massively weaker at that.
With that item in her hands, she had to decide which one to go for next. Which...was a bit complicated.
The Mobius Chair was an obvious choice, and a good one. BUT, it was used by a God, and more than that, if Gwen was right, then it was currently connected with someone FAR FAR FAR more dangerous than a mere God.
An entity that was in the higher realms of the DC multiverse, and a powerful being that she was not exactly confident in fighting. A man that could manipulate science to his will, and was one of the most powerful characters in the entire multiverse.
The man known as...
Doctor Manhattan.
Gwen was absolutely certain that he knew of her existence. He was basically omniscient and was almost certainly one of the thousands of entities that were currently watching her, or trying to watch her.
Which meant that grabbing the chair...would be difficult, very difficult.
It also was powered and utilized Element X, one of the most powerful metals in all of comics, and likely the most powerful metal in the DC multiverse.
She wondered what would happen if she got a good look at the metal itself, seeing its makeup and how it was made. But she had a rather strong feeling that it was not a metal that one could just "Make" especially not when it was capable of fighting off and defeating entities from the Dark Multiverse.
’Should I even bother trying to grab the chair?’ Gwen thought, wondering if this was even a good idea. She could handle the Gods easily enough, as long as their true forms didn’t get involved. But it was Doctor Manhattan that was a huge problem.
As he had imbued the chair with a tiny tiny tiny portion of his power, which made it so that the wielder of the chair could see the past, present, and the future.
It honestly made her even more tempted to take the thing. But at the same time...she wasn’t sure if she’d be able to.
’The chair also only chooses those it deems worthy, and if it doesn’t allow me to use it, I won’t be able to use it no matter how hard I try’ Gwen thought, knowing that the chair was not one of those things she could just control to her will.
It was a dimensional object of incredible power. As it would grant her all the knowledge obtained by the New Gods, which was a LOT of knowledge, obtained over untold billions of years, and would likely include knowledge that not even she knew.
’Ah fuck it, lets just see if it works’ Gwen thought, as she decided to just try and see if she could connect to it or not. As she teleported off to the place that she knew the chair was. Into one of the several universes that the chair existed, as it did in fact exist in more than one, but there was only a handful of them in existence.
This was one of three universes where the chair was not being sat upon, and was a universe destined to die out eventually. But, upon gazing at the chair as she appeared in front of it, Gwen knew instinctively that Doctor Manhattan had touched this one too.
’Seems he’s effected all of the existing ones, not just the mainline universe’ Gwen thought, as she walked towards the glowing chair of incredible knowledge and power.
Behind the chair was the Earth, but in this universe, a war had broken out between the heroes of the world and the government, and had ended with the attacks of several villains who had worked with the government. And thanks to this, it was basically a large charred corpse of a planet.
Stepping up to the chair, Gwen stopped in front of it as she could tell that the thing in front of her was...incredible. Truly incredible.
She could understand the workings and creation of objects just by looking at them, and Gwen could tell that the chair in front of her was far and away the most advanced object she had seen so far, not including the objects that she had seen in her other lives.
If she included other lives, then this chair was easily surpassed by a number of objects from Doctor Who, including the Tardis.
That thing is truly ridiculous.
Walking to the chair, she reached her hand out and placed her hand upon it, a breath echoing from her as she felt the chair respond to her. A connection snapped into place as she walked up its singular step, and turned, before slowly lowering herself upon it as a blue glow formed around her, and she bonded to the chair.

Sitting on the chair, Gwen kept her eyes closed as she felt billions of years worth of knowledge flow into her brain, perhaps even more than that. Knowledge of some of the greatest secrets of the multiverse, knowledge that would shatter the minds of lesser beings. Knowledge that Gods would kill for and cosmic entities would fight to keep secret.
Knowledge that was now hers.
She could also now look into the past and future with little difficulty, and her senses had grown to an even higher realm, as she could now see through dimensions, and throughout the entire universe with no difficulty.
Placing her hand on the chair, Gwen couldn’t help but smile slightly.
"Pretty comfortable" Gwen said to herself, as she and her new chair teleported off, ready to gather the remaining chairs that were not being utilized by anyone or anything else.

Gathering the other chairs had not been difficult in the least, as she truly was the absolute perfect host for them. And once she had bonded to them, the chairs had actually undergone a rather interesting fusion of sorts, growing their overall power and defensive capabilities, as well as increasing the nigh-omniscience that they granted.
More than that, they each granted more knowledge, as some of them had different pieces of information from the others. Making them each a huge boon to her.
The next object that Gwen decided to gather was...a bit more complicated to find, which was the Warlogog, an immensely powerful object that was basically a working 4d map of the universe. And it was a working model of the entire space time continuum from the Big Bang to the Omega Point.
Basically, it was a very powerful object, but thankfully, it was quite easy to find. Thanks to the fact that...it was native to Earth.
Yeah, Earth really liked to house a lot of powerful objects. But, thanks to the nature of the object, it had been scattered throughout time thanks to the actions of a previous user of it. But considering who she was...well...
It wasn’t hard for her to scatter her clones throughout time and space and gather each part of the "Hourglass" and within three hours of working quickly, she had gathered all the parts.
And all of this was done in the incredibly dangerous Prime Universe. One that she had been VERY quiet in, as this was where the truly dangerous threats were at. And she didn’t want to deal with them until after she took care of Knull in her own universe.
Which is why she gathered the Warlogog while using tens of thousands of different means to block the sight of higher entities, and it was thanks to this that she was now back in her "Home" universe, staring at the item floating in her hand, slightly awed as it’s makeup.
"...This multiverse just loves to make truly ridiculous objects" Gwen muttered, staring at it. As it was roughly on par with the Mobius Chair, if not even better. And it would now grant her pretty much perfect control over time and space, at least, against foes that this would even work on.

Considering how incredibly powerful these items were, it wasn’t a shock that the rewards they gave was also huge.
With her sitting in her new chair, and her new Warlogog floating above her palm, Gwen smiled, as she decided it was time to gather the last two "Items" of note. One of them not really an item, but technically being considered one.
With that in mind, Gwen teleported off with her chair, one thought on her mind.
’...Time to become a White Lantern!’

That’s the end of the Chapter!
So yeah, Gwen is really beginning to pick up the pace in power gains, as the Warlogog and Mobius Chair are HUGE boons for her. Especially the chair.
Originally this was going to be a chair of Trigon and some gathering, but I decided to dedicate the next Chapter to the White Lantern and Life Equation as they are important enough for that.
Anyways, have a good day!
