After leaving the bar, Qin Xuan sent Ren Qixiang a message saying he had a big gift for her, then took a taxi home.
The matter of the Black Tiger Gang was basically over for now.
Their leader was dead, several core members were incapacitated, and the remaining small-time thugs wouldn't be able to stir up much trouble.
Upon receiving Qin Xuan's message, Ren Qixiang immediately led her people to the location Qin Xuan had sent in the city's outskirts.
When she saw Hei Biao's corpse inside the bar, she was stunned.
There were also two unconscious hall masters of the Black Tiger Gang.
Ren Qixiang knew this must be Qin Xuan's doing.
With Hei Biao's death, the Black Tiger Gang was effectively dissolved.
Ren Qixiang instructed her subordinates to contact more members of the Qixiang Association to rush to the outskirts and uproot the Black Tiger Gang entirely.
This would also be her contribution to Jiangbei.
Qin Xuan was deep in thought on the taxi when it suddenly stopped. The driver turned to him with an apologetic look.
"Brother, I'm really sorry, my car is out of gas and can't go any further. Please get out. I'll call for a tow truck, and this ride is on me."
Qin Xuan snapped back to reality, feeling a bit bewildered that such a rare event had befallen him.
A taxi running out of gas, didn't the driver check the fuel gauge beforehand?
"Alright." Qin Xuan didn't say much more. He was already near the upper district, and home wasn't far, only a few kilometers. He could walk if needed.
After getting out of the car, Qin Xuan hadn't walked for long when he passed a quiet bar.
Qin Xuan glanced at it. He had been busy for most of the night and hadn't even had a drop of water. Since the quiet bar was still open, he decided to go in for a drink of water.
Quiet bars, unlike regular bars, were more serene and less noisy, offering a better environment.
Qin Xuan surveyed the interior. The decor was nice, but slightly feminine, suggesting it was run by a woman.
He hadn't been to such a place in years. The last time he visited one was when he was in the capital.
He walked up to the bar, found a high stool, and sat down. He tapped the counter and called out,
"Waiter, a glass of water, please."
No one answered. Just as Qin Xuan was about to call again, a seductive voice sounded from nearby.
"Who comes to a place to drink and orders plain water?"
Qin Xuan turned his head and saw a woman in a red, semi-revealing dress sitting not far away.
Her light yellow hair was slightly curled. The red semi-revealing dress, paired with a pair of fiery red high heels, made her look incredibly alluring.
The woman offered Qin Xuan a charming smile.
She then took out a cigarette and prepared to light it, only to find her lighter was out of fuel. She beckoned Qin Xuan with her index finger and smiled,
"Handsome, do you have a light?"
Qin Xuan didn't smoke, let alone carry a lighter, so he instinctively shook his head.
The red-dressed beauty rolled her eyes charmingly and pouted,
"A grown man who doesn't smoke, how uninteresting."
With that, she stood up, then bent over the counter, rummaging behind it for a lighter.
Her even, alluring curves were perfectly accentuated by the tight red dress.
Her posture presented a prime viewing angle to Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan felt a rush of blood and quickly averted his gaze.
'See no evil, see no evil...' Qin Xuan muttered to himself repeatedly.
As the red-dressed woman searched for the lighter, she glanced at Qin Xuan out of the corner of her eye, a slight smirk playing on her lips.
She had expected him to peek, but he hadn't, which was a little surprising.
After finding the lighter, the red-dressed woman straightened up, lit her cigarette, then walked over to Qin Xuan and exhaled a heart-shaped smoke ring towards him. She chuckled,
"You weren't secretly looking at me just now, were you? My pose earlier exposed quite a bit."
"Quick, tell me, did you steal a glance at me!"
