Chapter 604: The chaos has only just begun.

"Save, save me!"

"I’m being crushed!"

"Hurry, save me!"

"Save me first!"

"Ahhhhhh...!"

In the chaos of the Jade Throne Hall, the elves, who had been enjoying the spectacle, screamed one after another. They jumped and darted around the falling ceiling debris but many were still struck squarely by the rocks and rubble and buried alive.

There was no bloodshed at the scene, a testament to the elves’ strength far surpassing that of humans. Even as they were hit by such large pieces of debris, no blood spilled immediately, showing just how tough their skins were.

However, as a group of officials and diplomats who usually didn’t partake in battles, most of the elves at the scene lacked crisis response abilities. They wasted their superior strength, clumsily fleeing from the falling debris and continual explosions, only to fail in escaping and end up buried by the rubble.

Only a few of the elves, such as members from the Tusk Clan and elf soldiers serving Morgan, managed to respond instantly. Some smashed the falling rocks with weapons or claws, while others nimbly dodged the chunks of falling ceilings, and even shielded others nearby, protecting themselves and others amidst the sudden disaster.

"Your Majesty!"

"Are you alright?"

Gawain and Woodworth reached Morgan’s side, one wielding a blazing greatsword and the other brandishing his claws, both shielding Morgan and crushing the debris while calling out to her.

"Mother dear!"

Tristan arrived a step late, saw that Gawain and Woodworth had already firmly protected Morgan, and his mood immediately soured.

Lancelot stayed by Aurora’s side. His arms, now equipped with armguards that resembled sword sheaths, projected light swords that shattered the rock fragments around them, making Spurgen sneakily take cover by Aurora’s side, protected by Lancelot.

In such a situation, Morgan was the only one who remained calm and still throughout.

With a clench of her hand, she conjured her black spear from thin air, lightly swung it, and a wave of Magic Power spread out, blowing away the explosions and dust within the Jade Throne Hall.

Her gaze quickly turned towards Reiger and Altoria.

However, all that entered Morgan’s view was a bare stretch of ruins.

Reiger and Altoria had disappeared, their whereabouts completely unknown.

"...so they have left, after all?"

Morgan muttered, her eyes flickering uncertainly.

Seeing this, Woodworth and others who also noticed that Reiger had disappeared with Altoria grew furious.

"Indeed, the wicked rebel!" Woodworth exclaimed furiously, "Even though he had already married Her Majesty, becoming a prince of Britain, he still chose to escape with a foreign magician. Is he not satisfied until he upends Her Majesty’s reign...!?"

Woodworth pulsated with outrage.

Although he was strongly against his queen marrying Reiger, when Reiger scorned the wedding and chose to escape, Woodworth felt an upsurge of anger.

The notion that something he valued was deemed by another as a cheap item to be discarded was a provocation too severe for the proud leader of the Tusk Clan.

Even Tristan spoke up to Morgan.

"Mother dear, such an ungrateful man doesn’t deserve to be your husband. Let me carve him up into pieces!"

Tristan’s eyes glinted with a bloodthirsty light.

"..."

Gawain stayed silent, maintaining his quietude.

Morgan ignored Tristan and Woodworth, holding her black spear, looked over the Jade Throne Hall as it turned into ruins, her demeanor returning to its usual cold ruthlessness.

"Elf Knight Gawain." Morgan commanded coolly, "Take your troops and hunt down the Chosen One."

"At your command."

Gawain immediately accepted the command, his armor clinking with chains, as he walked out of the Jade Throne Hall.

"Your Majesty! Let me join them!"

Woodworth volunteered eagerly, just as he was about to leave the Jade Throne Hall, Morgan coldly halted him.

"You stay behind and clean up the aftermath, Woodworth."

Morgan stated so.

"Your Majesty?"

Woodworth looked at Morgan in astonishment.

"Tristan." Morgan continued, ignoring Woodworth, and addressed Tristan, "You stay as well."

"Mother dear, let me go too. With ’Mirror Fusion’ in my possession, no matter where they escape, I can track them down with Gawain!"

At these words, Morgan subtly furrowed her brow, but perhaps because Tristan mentioned bringing Gawain, she considered it and finally nodded.

"Then you take Gawain and pursue them, and let Lancelot join you too."

"Yes, Mother dear!"

Tristan accepted the command with great joy.

Were it a different time, Tristan might have felt displeased to bring Gawain and Lancelot along.

But this time, thrilled at the prospect of retaliating against Reiger, Tristan readily agreed.

"Remember, I want them alive."

Morgan, well aware of what was on Tristan’s mind, added indifferently.
