Chapter 504: 459 Found Hidden Land_2

This was something Liz hadn’t told Reiger: that Hemulinp had actually forgotten what even his own mother looked like. Otherwise, Reiger’s opinion of Hemulinp might have plummeted to rock bottom.

Moreover, although Hemulinp had granted Liz an audience, she could feel that her biological father had done so more for his own master than for her. If that had not been the case, he would not have continually made probing inquiries in hopes of gleaning some information about her master. He also subtly tried to persuade her to help coax her master into allegiance with the Kingdom of Ginath.

One could say that the reason Liz stayed in the palace all day was half because Yuri was busy and couldn’t escort her out of the palace immediately, and the other half was that Hemulinp constantly engaged Liz in discussions about Reiger.

On the other hand, Hemulinp only mentioned Liz’s mother a few times then never spoke of her again.

This invariably made Liz feel very disheartened.

Even now, Liz’s mood was still somewhat heavy.

"Master," Liz said blankly to Reiger, "tell me, who exactly am I?"

Liz eventually asked Reiger such a question.

Reiger also felt that he could no longer just watch.

Thus, Reiger spoke to Liz.

"From the information we have thus far," Reiger said, "your lineage is clearly deeply connected with the ancient magic civilization. The Moslo Sword, according to Meyer’s terms, seems to be a weapon that only a specific group of people could wield."

"And this weapon was evidently obtained by one of the ancestors of the ancient magic civilization from the Dimensional Cube... or what they call ’God.’

Meyer refers to it as the Sacred Sword, asserting it can only be wielded by ’that clan.’"

"So, it seems the answer is quite clear."

Reiger cast his gaze upon Liz’s face, voicing his inner thoughts.

"Assuming everything Meyer has said is true and not a bit of it is false, then you are undoubtedly a descendant of ’that clan’ she spoke of; otherwise, you wouldn’t have been recognized by the Moslo Sword, nor would you have been able to wield it."

"Although we don’t know what ultimately befell the ancient magic civilization, causing their demise 11,000 years ago, if you really are a descendant of ’that clan,’ it appears that some of your ancestors survived the catastrophe that led to the collapse of the ancient magic civilization and subsequently flourished again on the continent of Akasha, continuing to this day."

"You might be one of those surviving descendants, or rather, your mother may be one of those people."

Otherwise, the Moslo Sword would not have been by Liz’s side when she was born, and Hemulinp would not have struggled against it earlier, borrowing it from Liz to study only to fail completely, even drawing in unforeseen events.

This is enough to suggest that Liz inherited the bloodline of ’that clan’ from her mother, not from her father. All signs so far show that Liz’s mother is the truly mysterious figure, while Hemulinp is merely the king of Ginath, and though his status appears more dignified, he likely lacks the profound background Liz’s mother possesses.

Reiger then shared a portion of the information he had gathered with Liz.

"In the very, very distant past, ancient humans encountered a god from the heavens, and someone was guided by this god and gained power,"

"This individual is depicted in the temple murals guarded by Meyer, having brought the Moslo Sword into this world while gaining power at the same time."

"This person was the original hero, the first to lead powerless humans against monsters, the very first king."

Reiger narrated.

"Ever since then, it seems every so often someone would wield the Moslo Sword and, under the guidance of a god, ascend the Stairway of Light to another world, acquiring power."

"If all these individuals could wield the Moslo Sword, then according to Meyer, they are all people from the hero’s clan, descendants of that very first individual who was recognized by the god and who returned with power from another world."

"And you, like those people, are descendants of that original hero, the first king, the first transcendent human."

This was the conclusion Reiger came to after combining the contents of the murals and some information disclosed by Meyer.

The clan mentioned by Meyer refers to the hero’s clan.

And the hero’s clan was the lineage of ancient humans who had ventured through Dimensional Travel under the guidance of the Dimensional Cube, gaining power and bringing back the Moslo Sword from another world.

Since this original hero, the very first king of humans, his bloodline descendants could use the Moslo Sword he brought back from another world, and some, like him, had undergone Dimensional Travel under the guidance of the Dimensional Cube.

After the downfall of the ancient magic civilization, some of this clan’s people survived and continued to flourish to this present day.

"The mysterious origins of your mother indirectly prove her significance, not to mention the fact she left you the Moslo Sword and the beast skin map,"

Reiger looked at Liz’s bewildered expression and smiled faintly.

"In summary, unless the information we’ve received is faulty, that you are a descendant of the ancient magic civilization’s hero’s clan is almost certain."
