Chapter 430: Chapter 431: I Will Give Her a Surprise
The person who answered Mu Shini’s call was Tan Mu.
Mu Shini was displeased, "Why do you always answer the phone? Where is Bo Sishen?"
Tan Mu wiped his sweat, "Young Madam, is there anything I can convey to him on your behalf?"
"Nothing much, just wanted to check on him. He hasn’t contacted me for several days now and I’m worried something might have happened to him," Mu Shini lied.
She hadn’t been thinking much about Bo Sishen lately because she’d been feeling unwell.
The torment and discomfort made it hard for her to breathe and think.
She was feeling a bit anxious and decided to call Bo Sishen to test his reaction, to see if he knew about her and Uncle Hei Che.
"Young Madam, the gentleman is fine. Actually, ever since you appeared, his health has been improving," Tan Mu said softly into the phone.
Mu Shini took a deep breath and walked to the window. Her voice was soft but nervous, "Assistant Tan, can you please ask Bo Sishen if his proposal for me to move back to the Bao Family’s house and for him to take me to school in the mornings still stands?"
After what had happened with Bo Sishen, she really didn’t dare to live with him anymore.
If this continued, something was bound to go wrong sooner or later.
Rather than that, it was better for her to go back to the Bao Family house to avoid any trouble.
Tan Mu was a bit taken aback by Mu Shini’s sudden proposal, "Young Madam, I will convey your message to the gentleman. I will let you know once he responds."
"Alright, thank you." Mu Shini nodded and put down her phone. When she turned around, she saw Shen Chengcheng and Li Xiaotian standing behind her, unsure of when they had arrived.
She was startled, "You were eavesdropping on my conversation!"
"No, you were speaking so loudly," Shen Chengcheng shook her head. "You’re not really planning to move back to the Bao Family house, are you? What about Uncle?"
"What happens to him has nothing to do with me," Mu Shini handed the phone back to Shen Chengcheng. "If I don’t get a response from Bo Sishen, I’ll just stay here."
Li Xiaotian came closer and asked Mu Shini, "You’re not moving back to the villa? Students living in a villa is pretty luxurious, you know. Why are you staying in this small room with us?"
"If you prefer, I don’t mind swapping with you," Mu Shini said with a shrug.
She gradually realized that being with him was maddening, and trouble seemed to happen at every turn.

When Bo Sishen received Tan Mu’s call, he furrowed his brows slightly.

Bo Sishen said in a deep voice, "I’m fine. If she wants to move back to the Bao Family house, let her."
Tan Mu hesitated for a moment before asking, "Sir, but with your dual identity, are you sure your body can handle it?"
"I’m not actually paralyzed. This time, I’ll give her a surprise," Bo Sishen’s deep black eyes narrowed slightly.
"Sir, isn’t all this back and forth exhausting?" Tan Mu asked worriedly, "With such haste, sooner or later, you’ll slip up."
