Chapter 452: Chapter 453: Did He Steal My Wallet?

"Be careful!" Bo Sishen reached out and caught her steadily, his magnetic deep voice rising above her head.

Mu Shini’s face turned pale. After regaining her composure, she shook her head and said, "I’m fine, thank you!"

Seeing that she had steadied herself, Bo Sishen instructed, "Stand still, don’t move, wait for me for three minutes."

Without waiting for Mu Shini to process what was happening, Bo Sishen scanned the area, locking onto his target, and dashed away at lightning speed.

"Hey, where are you going?" Mu Shini shouted in confusion at Bo Sishen’s retreating back.

Who’s that uncle chasing, running so fast!

The man who had bumped into Mu Shini saw someone chasing after him and immediately took off running.

He didn’t get far before Bo Sishen caught up to him and subdued him completely.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let me go!"

"Hand over the stolen wallets!" Bo Sishen coldly demanded as he pressed the man against the wall.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about!" The man struggled, speaking with a guilty conscience, "Let me go!"

Bo Sishen was unceremonious. With a slight twist of his wrist, he heard the man’s arm crack – it had broken.

"Ah—" the man screamed, sounding like a pig being slaughtered, unbearably harsh.

Bo Sishen reached into the man’s pockets, and several wallets fell to the ground.

None of them were Mu Shini’s pink wallet.

"Where’s the wallet you just stole?" Bo Sishen asked coldly.

"He-here it is..." The man hurriedly pulled the wallet out of his pants pocket, sweat pouring down as he pleaded for mercy, "Big brother, please spare me!"

Mu Shini saw the uncle fighting and quickly approached, worried there might be a misunderstanding.

"Uncle, are you okay?" Mu Shini asked nervously.

The uncle seemed fine, but the other guy wasn’t.

Bo Sishen handed the wallet to Mu Shini.

Mu Shini, recognizing her wallet, quickly checked her pockets to find it missing. She took Bo Sishen’s phone and saw it was hers. She let out a sigh of relief, "Uncle, is this my wallet? Did he steal it?"

Bo Sishen’s face remained cold and stern.

"Damn thief! You stole my wallet!" Mu Shini walked up and kicked the man hard.

"Ouch!" The man immediately fell to his knees, one hand dislocated and broken, a truly pathetic sight!

On the ground, he pleaded, "Big brother, big sister, please spare me..."

"Who are you calling big brother, big sister!" Mu Shini frowned deeply at being addressed as big sister.

"Miss, young lady, beautiful lady, please have mercy!" The man knelt and begged with clasped hands.

"Uncle, hand him over to security!" Mu Shini took back her wallet and pulled Bo Sishen away.

Immediately, four security personnel arrived in the subway, taking the man away and helping the owners retrieve their stolen wallets.

Mu Shini was very grateful to Bo Sishen. She took out her wallet again, seeing an old photo inside of a young woman holding a newborn baby.

Bo Sishen glanced down and happened to see it.

This was undoubtedly Mu Shini’s biological mother, whom he had only seen once over a decade ago.

"Uncle, thank you for getting my wallet back." Mu Shini put the wallet back in her pocket and sincerely thanked Bo Sishen.

"You’re welcome," Bo Sishen replied in a low voice.

...

Mu Shini brought Bo Sishen to a late-night snack market, specifically choosing an elderly couple’s spicy hotpot stall to sit down.

"Grandpa, Grandma, hello! I want one of everything here, and add two bottles of beer!" Mu Shini walked to the stall and said to the elderly couple, then suddenly remembered, "One bowl should be non-spicy! Not a bit of spice!"

"Girl, it’s you! Coming right up!" The elderly couple smiled brightly upon seeing Mu Shini.

"Wait," Bo Sishen said coldly to the elderly couple, "Replace the beer with boiled water."
