Chapter 366 - 367: Did You Miss Me?

Chapter 366: Chapter 367: Did You Miss Me?

Bo Sishen looked over Mu Shini’s WeChat message three times.

With his long fingers, he typed a few words on his phone and replied.

[Miss me?]

Bo Sishen finished editing the message and sent it.

The corners of his lips curved into a faint smile as he put his phone away, and he noticed Tan Mu and Dr. Zhuo staring at him maliciously, as if watching an entertaining show.

The smile on his handsome face quickly faded, his deep eyes showing a cold gleam. He cast a cold glance at them and said in a low voice, "Is it that funny?"

Tan Mu looked at Bo Sishen, bewildered.

Dr. Zhuo walked over, laughing awkwardly, "Finally know what a man in heat looks like."

Bo Sishen shot him a cold glare, "Tired of living?"

Dr. Zhuo laughed even more, "Don’t be shy, it’s rare to see you in spring, I’m happy for you. I’m sure you’re really hyped about being the groom every night!"

"She’s only 18, so young, I can’t bear to touch her." Bo Sishen’s eyes flickered, his thin lips coldly pressed together, yet his expression was gentle.

"Young is fine, as long as the size is right, it’s more than enough!" Dr. Zhuo raised his hand, stroking his chin, and raised his eyebrows at Bo Sishen.

"Don’t desecrate my wife."

Bo Sishen frowned, his tone exceptionally cold.

"Alright," Dr. Zhuo said with a smile, "Gu Junru is gone, the issues from two years ago are resolved, now only Tinghao’s trouble remains. You should make more effort, don’t drag your feet, or you’ll lose your wife! Hurry up and deal with it while there’s still time to fix things."

Bo Sishen’s eyes grew deep, a cold light flickering within.

It’s not that he didn’t want to settle it, but the bet with Bao Tinghao lasts for one semester.

Now, not even a third of the time has passed, despite Bao Tinghao being rejected by Mu Shini, he still hasn’t given up, thinking he still has a chance.

How could he deal with such an obstinate Bao Tinghao?

Tan Mu listened to their conversation, walked over to Dr. Zhuo with a heavy expression, pulled at Dr. Zhuo’s clothes, lowered his head, signaling with his eyes for him to stop talking nonsense.

The more Tan Mu tried to stop him, the more Dr. Zhuo wanted to speak.

"Lao Tan, why are you pulling me?" Dr. Zhuo removed Tan Mu’s hand, turned his head, and looked straight at Bo Sishen, "You can’t let the guilt for Tinghao make you give your wife away, right? Besides, your brother and sister-in-law, Bo Sihan and Su Xiaoqian, were not your doing, you should explain this clearly to Tinghao."

Bo Sishen’s face darkened, his eyes deep, suddenly standing up. His voice was low and chilly, "I bear at least half of the responsibility for my brother and sister-in-law."

"Raising Tinghao to adulthood should be enough repayment for your responsibility to them. They didn’t leave because of you; taking the blame is just making things worse for yourself," Dr. Zhuo shook his head and sighed, "Ah Shen, I truly hope you can live a normal life, fall in love, get married, have kids, instead of carrying the weight of the country’s duties and family pressure."

"Dr. Zhuo, I appreciate your good intentions, but these are my responsibilities, I must bear them, regardless of whether they should be mine or not." Bo Sishen put his hands in his pockets, exuding an aura that warned people to stay away.

"So you’d rather lose a wife who can make you better, for these damn responsibilities?" Dr. Zhuo also stood up following Bo Sishen’s actions, walked over and patted his shoulder.

"No matter the bet, I only win, never lose." Bo Sishen said lightly.

"Afraid you’ll end up winning against Bao Tinghao, but losing your little wife."

Upon hearing this, Bo Sishen furrowed his brows, his temples thumping painfully. Suddenly, his phone vibrated; he glanced at it, saw Mu Shini’s message, and turned to go upstairs with his phone.

Only Tan Mu and Dr. Zhuo were left looking at each other helplessly.
