Thinking this, Ying immediately used her Electro element to accelerate, reaching Ei in a few breaths. Her right hand, crackling with electricity, shot up, aiming directly for Ei's abdomen.
"Oh?"
Ei's eyes widened slightly. Although she could sense the immense Electro energy contained within Ying's hand, she had no intention of dodging. After all, to spar with the God of Electro using Electro energy itself was inherently amusing.
She slowly raised her left arm. A similarly vast amount of Electro energy materialized in her palm. Then, she casually lifted her arm, blocking Ying's fist.
"Boom!!"
The two forces collided. Finding it difficult to gain a decisive advantage, Ei channeled more elemental energy into her hand. Her own elemental reserves were, in comparison to Ying's, like an ocean facing a stream.
Sensing Ei's intention, Ying's lips curved into a smile.
*She took the bait...*
Following Ei's lead, Ying also increased her supply of elemental energy.
"Hm?"
Seeing Ying dare to engage in a prolonged contest, Ei's initial surprise turned into a hint of dissatisfaction.
*Is this girl looking down on me?*
Ei let out a cold snort and further increased her elemental supply. With a crisp sound, the already maxed-out Electro energy expanded once more, emitting an ear-piercing hum that inspired awe.
Feeling the overwhelming power in Ei's hand, Ying no longer hesitated. She clenched her other free hand and controlled the whirlwind that had remained stationary since the beginning, directing it straight towards Ei's back.
"Oh?"
Ei's eyebrows twitched. She hadn't expected Ying to resort to such a tactic. However, she knew that although the whirlwind, infused with Ying's own power, would cause her some minor damage, it would be akin to a mere scratch. She could easily endure this energy and obliterate the young one before her into a pile of dust in a single blow.
Of course, while she *could* do that, she wouldn't for now.
With this thought, a trace of anticipation flickered in Ei's eyes.
*Is she truly thinking only this shallowly?*
*If it's truly just this... then your wish cannot be granted...*
With that, Ei increased the elemental energy in her hand once more, causing the ground beneath Ying's feet to begin to sink, bit by bit.
This was Ying's first time facing a god head-on, and she clearly felt the unparalleled pressure. But she wasn't made of dough.
Ying took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.
"Chidori Flow!"
"Swish~swish~swish~swish~"
In the next moment, countless thin streaks of electric light erupted, surging outwards like a torrential rain.
Ei felt the intense Electro attribute's might contained within these lightning strikes. But that was for others. For herself, it merely registered as a slight presence.
Subconsciously assuming this to be Ying's ultimate move, Ei sighed softly, feeling a touch of disappointment.
*At this level, she doesn't even qualify to be sliced by me.*
With that thought, Ei's gaze turned colder. She intended to unleash her elemental power in one go and end this disappointing spar.
"Farewell... Hm?!"
The anticipated sight of Ying turning into dust did not materialize. More surprisingly, Ei discovered that while releasing the Chidori Flow, Ying was still channeling additional elemental energy into their ongoing clash. And this time, the increase was far greater than all previous augmentations combined.
*Where is she getting so much Electro energy from?*
Her thoughts raced, but Ei did not lose her composure due to these questions. She further amplified the elemental energy in her hand, attempting to completely overwhelm Ying.
However, Ei found that no matter how much more power she exerted, Ying could always match or even surpass it. This peculiar phenomenon left her somewhat perplexed.
The Chidori Flow surrounding Ying continuously struck Ei, making it difficult for her to concentrate. Moreover, even though the lightning strikes weren't particularly powerful against her, if this continued, even a god would not remain unscathed.
*This girl... truly hasn't disappointed me...*
Ei forced herself to calm down and, after a moment of careful consideration, a flash of inspiration struck her. She immediately turned around, looking at the whirlwind that had stopped not far behind her.
*So that's how it is...*
Ei nodded slightly and took a deep breath. When her eyes opened again, an immensely terrifying pressure descended upon the space, as if the heavens and earth were collapsing. The entire small world was engulfed in a hazy, gray shadow.
Facing such an offensive at such close range, Ying involuntarily took a few steps back. Even the Chidori Flow she was emitting was shattered by the sheer aura.
In an instant, Ying's continuous supply of elemental energy vanished. Without its replenishment, the previously balanced confrontation dissolved. Ying knew that in a short while, she would be utterly overwhelmed by the next surge of power from Ei.
*It's still not enough, but I have to take this gamble...*
With that thought, Ying abandoned the idea of continuing the direct confrontation with Ei. She directed the energy she had accumulated upwards towards the sky and, simultaneously, used her Geo element to reinforce her body, directly intercepting the powerful force from Ei that was already upon her.
*Boom——*
Accompanied by a violent explosion, Ying's small body was flung far into the distance like a rag doll amidst the powerful shockwave. She finally crashed heavily onto the ground, raising a cloud of dust.
*Pfft!——*
A stream of blood flowed from the corner of Ying's mouth, staining the front of her clothes. Ying felt a tearing pain throughout her body, and her consciousness began to blur.
Sensing the space around her dimming, Paimon felt a sense of dread and quickly tried to rouse her host.
*Host! Host, wake up!*
*If you don't wake up, I'll go with you!*
Meanwhile, Ei's expression shifted slightly when she realized Ying had voluntarily ceased her resistance. However, she quickly regained her composure and slowly walked towards Ying, who lay defeated on the ground. As she walked, she recounted the battle.
"The Chidori Flow, intentionally amplified to seem like it was for sustained consumption, was actually a conduit to connect with that strange whirlwind."
"Using my elemental energy against me, an interesting idea, but that's all it was."
Watching Ei approach Ying, while her host remained immobile, Paimon's heart grew increasingly anxious...
