Chapter 147: 147: Not a good plan
"Hands off," Elvis snapped as he glared at Eden. Eden squeezed his balls as he pulled his hands off.
"What the hell do you think you’re doing?"
Eden smiled. "Helping you change."
"Do what you’re asked to do. Don’t overdo it," Elvis ordered.
Now Eden smiled broadly. That was the real Elvis he knew. The one who always panicked at such moments.
"Sure." Eden’s hands were away from his boxers now, and he turned. "It seems you can help yourself change, so I don’t think I’m needed here."
Elvis watched him as he headed for the door. "I have more important things to do, so I can’t play your little games with you anymore. Call me when you’re serious."
He winked at him as he left through the door.
Elvis stood there, watching him leave. He didn’t waste time but dressed himself up immediately.
As soon as he was done, Mr. George walked into his chamber.
"What was that?" Mr. George questioned. "What were you doing with him and..."
He observed that Elvis was just adjusting his clothes, and something flashed through his mind. Mr. George’s eyes went wide in shock. "Did you...?"
"I only asked him to help me change. Stop overthinking," Elvis said, even before he arrived at his conclusion.
Mr. George blinked. "But... but still... you shouldn’t do that with him..."
Elvis stared at the door through which Eden had walked. "He has already caught up with what I was planning on doing."
"Huh?"
"He knew I was messing with him. And that was my plan of getting information from him."
"....." Mr. George was beyond shocked. "You came up with a plan to do things with him so as to get information from him?? Why?"
"It’s beating him at his own game," Elvis said.
"Well, that’s not a good plan. Because... what if you actually... start developing feelings for him or something?" Mr. George was panicking.
"I won’t. So don’t worry about that," Elvis said confidently.
But Mr. George was already staring at him with worry. Because he knew that Elvis’s confident words in the moment were something he was going to lose soon.
He could already sense it, and that got him worried.
"He is getting smarter with every move I make," Elvis said. "At least I need to find out what he’s up to while keeping him under control. And this is the best possible way to do so. Hooking him in his game."
"In his scandalous game of prostitution?" Mr. George’s face was red with worry. "You want to play him in that line? You’re the crown prince."
"I know what I’m doing, so don’t worry. It’s only with him..." Elvis said. "And I think it’s time to actually go all out on it."
Mr. George almost fainted at his words. "Huh? How do you mean...?"
"To beat him in his own game, I will have to go beyond the surface level of flirting..." Elvis had already planned it out.
Mr. George blinked in shock. "What are you planning on doing...?"
Elvis sighed. "Don’t worry. Just keep an eye on him to know what he has been up to. So I’ll know when to act."
Mr. George didn’t know how to feel about all this. He was stressed out and worried about Elvis, the crown prince.
Worried that the crown prince might actually fall for a man. And that he would be involved in an official scandal across the kingdom.
He could already see all Elvis had been going through, even as the crown prince. So he was certain that if this happened, Elvis would be in a bigger mess.
He was only worried about him.
---
Elvis arrived at his room with a loud sigh.
"And what was that about?" Lenny asked.
"Nothing much. He was just trying to be cute." Eden fell on the bed.
"Huh?"
"He tried flirting with me. As part of some sort of plan of his," Eden explained.
"You could see through him?"
"Yes... apparently." Eden stared at the ceiling. "That’s by the way. I have more important things to think about now. Like tomorrow."
"Yeah. We have to come up with something..." Lenny agreed. "But there’s still no sign of Felix though."
Eden sat up. "I already gave him a rule to come every day, so why the hell isn’t he here?"
He added, "And today is also a deadline for an option I gave him. So he should be here by now."
Lenny blinked. "Why do I have a feeling that he won’t make it? I mean... he looks too straight for that."
"Straight my feet," Eden sighed. "He didn’t seem so when he was enjoying the little moments with me."
Lenny blinked. "I’m too innocent for this, I guess."
"Whatever." Eden fell back on the bed. "But still, he better get here, because he’s like my last hope at getting any powers for myself before tomorrow..."
Lenny sighed, his head down on the bed. "What if he doesn’t come? You should have a backup plan or something."
"You’re right. I should," Eden agreed.
And now they were left with the option to start thinking of an alternative.
They were plotting a backup plan for escaping from Leo in case something else happened. A way that would still help out if Felix didn’t make it.
And before they could even count the hours of their discussion and plotting, it was already evening.
And evening was the time when they heard a bird whistle coming from outside Eden’s room.
The both of them stiffened as they stared at each other.
"Are you hearing that?" Eden asked Lenny, excited.
"He’s here," Lenny said.
"Took him long enough," Eden said. He was relieved. At least he had hope to not execute the complicated plot he and Lenny had been busy plotting for hours.
One he was sure had a high chance of failing and getting him killed.
Now he had Felix, who could potentially hand him his powers for days at least.
