Ye Xingguang also returned to the Empire City. Seeing that Lin Hanfeng arranged everything for Xia Siyuan properly, she felt relieved and went straight home after arriving in the city.
Ye Junqing had returned home a step earlier and was already asleep.
In the middle of the night, Ye Xingguang came back. Ye Junqing was half-asleep and felt a soft body rolling into his arms. “Lin Hanfeng wanted to bring Siyuan back to the Empire City, saying it wasn’t convenient to care for her in Feicheng, so I came back with him.”
Ye Junqing didn’t say anything else and went back to sleep, sleeping soundly until daylight. When he felt a soft body in his arms, he’d forgotten their half-asleep conversation from the night before and pondered how she was supposed to be in Feicheng, yet was there with him early in the morning.

By the time the two came downstairs for breakfast, it was already two hours later. Ye Junqing was refreshed, while Ye Xingguang was yawning incessantly.
Little Huahua was also having breakfast.
Seeing the two entering the dining room, Little Huahua stretched out her little hands, wanting to be held.
Ye Xingguang cradled the clingy Little Huahua in her arms. Bai Lanwu, sitting beside them, was feeding Little Huahua. Not realizing Ye Xingguang had returned, she asked, “When did you come back?”
“Mom, last night, in the middle of the night.”
Song Chuanqi sat nearby, sipping tea. “Everything in Feicheng settled?”
Ye Xingguang nodded. “Yes, I actually didn’t handle it myself, A Qing managed it for me. Everything with the Wang’s Family has been sorted out; no one will question my position as Family Head for now, though I still feel my position is somewhat unjustified.”
Song Chuanqi nodded. “Since your grandfather entrusted the Wang Family to you, he must have had his considerations. If the Wang Family fell into the hands of a branch family, it might seem justified but could not develop long-term. However, with it in your hands, maybe the Wang Family can reach new heights. This may not necessarily be you benefiting, so there’s no need to feel uneasy.”
Ye Xingguang knew that with her status as a national treasure and the Queen of the Empire of the Sea, the Wang Family was benefiting from her, not the other way around. Hearing her father say this, she felt more at ease.
“Mom, let me feed Little Huahua.”
Ye Xingguang took the bowl and spoon from Bai Lanwu and personally fed Little Huahua. She hadn’t taken care of her daughter in days, and now her motherly love was overflowing.
Bai Lanwu then went to bring over Little Deep and Little Tangtang.
Ye Xingguang was surprised, “Oh, how come Little Tangtang is here? Has Tang Zhou come back?”
Bai Lanwu said, “I asked Shen Mo to bring Little Tangtang over. They don’t know how to care for a child, so they brought her to me. Your dad and I are idle anyway; having the kids around makes life more fulfilling.”
Ye Xingguang nodded. “Big Brother doesn’t have a strong foothold in Country S, so he must be particularly busy stabilizing his position. Tang Zhou can’t possibly stay home all day with the kids; he’s not the type to sit still. It’s good to have Little Tangtang over; with more children at home, there are playmates.”
Indeed, at nap time, Little Deep and Little Tangtang would end up rolling into each other.
Little Deep had a calmer disposition, less active, while Little Tangtang was more restless, often rolling over with her little leg resting on Little Deep’s body, and her little arm hugging Little Deep’s tiny arm as if she were a little tyrant.
