Taishang nodded and said,
"The physique of the Human Race is indeed peculiar. Neither your essence blood nor the Three Lights Divine Water and Nine Heavens Breathing Soil are ordinary things, yet the Human Race's physique is so frail! Moreover, they are born with the Dao physique, yet their talents vary greatly – some are exceptionally gifted, while others are utterly dull!"
Nuwa nodded and said,
"I am also curious how the demon race discovered that the Human Race could greatly increase their cultivation. After I intervened, I learned from the demon kings who were raising humans that they claimed it was based on rumors, and they didn't know the source.
"I tried to deduce it myself but found no clues. I suspect a Saint has intervened to erase the heavenly secrets. I am not skilled in the art of deduction, which is why I have come to seek you, fellow Daoist."
Tongtian, hearing that a Saint was involved, spoke with confusion,

"Fellow Daoist Nuwa, as you can likely see, compared to the myriad races of the Primordial World, the Human Race is more suited to be the protagonist of heaven and earth. However, the Human Race is not yet strong enough to contend with all races.
"Although Fuxi and Hongyun possess the Primordial Violet Qi, their merits are insufficient, and they have been unable to attain Sainthood for a long time. I intend to have Fuxi and Hongyun join the Human Race, partly to enlighten them and help them grow stronger, and partly to accumulate merits for Fuxi and Hongyun to achieve Sainthood in one fell swoop. What do you think, fellow Daoist?"
Upon hearing that Fuxi could attain Sainthood, Nuwa readily agreed without hesitation, saying,
"I agree to this matter! Sect Leader, you may proceed as you see fit!"
Nuwa's prompt agreement caught Taishang off guard, as he hadn't even used the prepared arguments. However, it was ultimately a good thing.
Taishang looked at Fuxi and asked,
"Since that is the case, do you have any preparations to make, Fuxi?"
Fuxi nodded and said,
"Sect Leader, my good and evil corpses are too extreme. Only my self-corpse is most suitable. I intend to destroy my good and evil corpses and give all their origins to my self-corpse. I believe this will make me more suitable for the Human Race."
After speaking, Fuxi summoned his three corpses and destroyed his good and evil corpses. The origins of both the good and evil corpses entered the body of his self-corpse.
Seeing this, Taishang said,
"If that is the case, let us make a trip to the Underworld to see fellow Daoist Houtu!"
Taishang then led Fuxi and Fuxi's self-corpse towards the Underworld.

Taishang chuckled and replied,
"Fellow Daoist Houtu, please do not jest. We have come with an important matter that requires your assistance."
Houtu, hearing this, wondered what could have agitated the three Saints so much.
However, the three Qing had saved her eleven elder brothers and sisters, and she was the master of the Human Dao. It was only right that she could not refuse.
Houtu invited them into Fengdu City and asked,
"May I know what matter Sect Leader Taishang is referring to?"
Taishang pointed to Fuxi's self-corpse and said,
"This is a small matter for you, fellow Daoist. I wish for you to help Fuxi's self-corpse enter the cycle of reincarnation."
Houtu, hearing this, thought it was a simple matter and indeed not difficult for her. However, she looked at Fuxi with confusion and said,
"Fuxi, have you thought this through? Once your self-corpse enters reincarnation, it will develop new consciousness and will no longer be your self-corpse."
Fuxi nodded and said,
"Thank you, Empress Houtu, for the reminder. I understand. I beg you to proceed."
