Chapter 119: Gifts of Power and The Omniversal Departure
The Carter Residence living room, still humming with the afterglow of Ethan’s genesis power, quickly transitioned into a place of purposeful activity.
Ethan turned his attention to Diana, his gaze full of pride and affection.
"I have a gift for my beautiful Amazonian princess, a demigod always needs better tools,"
With a mental command, a vortex of energy coalesced nearby, solidifying into a masterpiece of divine metallurgy: the God Slayer Armor Set.
It was forged from pure Uru metal, enhanced by concentrated cosmic and runic enchantments. The dark metal armor, the razor-sharp Sword, and the defensive Aegis Shield didn’t just look powerful; they radiated power.
[ God-slayer Armour set ]
The armor hovered before Diana, its intricate design glowing with faint Norse inscriptions.
Ethan took a slow step forward and said, "Diana... this is for you. I call it the God Slayer Armour Set."
Diana blinked, "Ethan... this—"
He interrupted her softly, "No need to ask. You’ll understand."
Instead of speaking its full functions aloud, Ethan reached out, connecting their minds, and poured the encyclopedic knowledge of the armor’s true capabilities directly into Diana’s consciousness via the Nexus-Mind lattice.
The armour wasn’t just durable; it was attuned to her spirit. Forged from Uru Metal, enhanced with Runes and Phoenix Flame Essence, it could channel her divine might, adapt to her combat style, and even regenerate itself mid-battle.
It came with a Sword—the Divine Reaver, capable of cutting through almost any energy—and a Shield, the Aegis of Dawn, that could reflect any attack with more than double its original power using a spell called ’Full Counter’ and amplify her own strikes when used offensively.
Moreover, the sword and shield could return to her if lost or thrown, responding instantly to her will. Not only that, the entire armor could be stored within a necklace, allowing her to summon it at will with a mere thought.
Not to mention the armor’s reinforced defenses, enhanced spells, and powerful runes, each designed to amplify her strength and resilience in battle.
Diana’s eyes widened, a rare flash of stunned disbelief crossing her warrior’s face. ’This... this is beyond anything crafted by Hephaestus,’ she thought, the sheer destructive and defensive potential overwhelming her.
When she fully grasped its nature, Diana gasped softly. "Ethan... this isn’t armor. It’s a weapon of gods."
He smiled. "That’s why it’s called God Slayer Armour."
"It truly has the power to slay gods. My beloved, this is magnificent."
She stepped forward and embraced him, the Uru set dissolving and reforming instantly around her in a blinding flash of light.
The armor was sleek, powerful, and utterly perfect for her form. "Thank you, Ethan," she murmured, her voice husky with genuine emotion. "This is the greatest gift. I will honor its power."
Didi watched the exchange, a faint, contented smile playing on her lips.
Next, Ethan turned to Susan. "My brilliant scientist," he began before pulling her into a gentle hug. "You are the one who binds our world together with logic and love, and now, you will have a new dimension of knowledge."
He then transmitted the dense, complex architecture of advanced Runes and profound Mystic Arts knowledge straight into her mind.
Susan staggered back slightly, her hand flying to her temple. "My brain... it feels like it just downloaded the Library of Alexandria," she whispered, her eyes wide with a mix of fear and excitement. "Ethan, I... I don’t know if I can master this."
"You absolutely can," Ethan reassured her, gently tracing the line of her jaw. "The knowledge is the foundation. Now, the power is yours to build."
She hesitated, her voice gentle. "You know I’m not a fighter like Diana or Jean."
"I know," Ethan said, touching her cheek softly. "But you’ll grow stronger. Not because I want you to fight, but because I want you to feel safe—always."
Susan’s lips curved into a small, touched smile. Deep down, she knew she was the least powerful among the group, but she also knew this gift came from his heart.
"You feel you are the weakness of this group, but that’s only because you value the wrong metrics. With this, you can ascend to a new level. You are already brilliant; this just gives you new tools."
Susan looked at him, her commitment firming. She knew her physical strength paled next to that of an Amazon, or two Omega-level mutants.
For his sake, and her own peace of mind, she would master this. She planned to throw herself into the practice of the runes, not out of pride—but out of love.
Jean and Anna, despite their profound love for Ethan, exchanged a subtle look of good-natured jealousy.
They didn’t say it aloud, but they both knew—Ethan wasn’t playing favorites. He was strengthening the ones who needed it most.
Ethan hadn’t shared the runes with everyone for a reason. Mastering them took intense, time-consuming dedication, even with implanted knowledge.
His other girls, including his wives, had their own paths of power they were focusing on. He knew he could personally guide Susan and others later in Fully mastering them. But currently it’s best for everyone to go forward in their own path.
As for using the Genesis Power on his own loved ones, he was exercising extreme caution. He needed test subjects preferably—in the Omniverse before risking fundamental biological rewriting on Susan.
For Diana, he had entirely different, more direct plans to increase her inherent divine strength.
Finally, he walked over to Didi, pulling her into a deep, loving kiss. "My lucky charm, my lovely death," he murmured against her lips. "I have no gift for you. You’re already more powerful than me in all the ways that count. My heart is all I have left to give you."
Didi smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Your heart is already a beautiful gift, my love. And unlike the others, I like having someone to love and tease occasionally."
Ethan then chuckled and reassured her, " Sorry that’s a joke," before handing Didi a necklace he had crafted using his new Genesis power during the experiments he did before in the mirror dimension.
The necklace created by his Matter Manipulation power, contained a portion of his life energy and several other intricate features, all of which he had implanted directly into Didi’s mind through telepathy.
She simply smiled, her eyes gleaming, and kissed him once more—softly, warmly, with a quiet affirmation of their bond.

The group spent the rest of the day in quiet companionship, a focused moment before the impending trip.
Ethan wanted this final evening to be entirely their own. He was eager to test his Genesis Authority against the people he will face in the new realities.
Later that night, the moment of departure arrived.
Ethan, Jean, and Anna stood in the center of the living room. Diana, Didi, and Susan clustered around, giving their goodbyes.
There were final hugs and lingering kisses for Ethan, wishing him well.
"Be safe, darling," Susan said, giving him one last, tight squeeze. "Just... a peaceful, happy, romantic trip, okay? No planetary warfare."
Ethan grimaced dramatically. "She just raised the red flag," he groaned to Anna.
"I know," Anna replied, a wicked, anticipating grin flashing across her face. "But that’s exactly what I wanted. Don’t worry, Susan. We’ll send back pictures of the collateral damage. Romance is fine, but a honeymoon needs a little action."
Diana crossed her arms. "We’ll have our own trip later," she said, her tone playful but determined.
Didi smirked. "Just don’t get lost in some ancient galaxy." before giving him a serene, meaningful kiss.
Jean and Anna merely nodded.
Ethan pulled the silvery Omni-Watch from its chain around his neck. "All right, ladies. The company is set, the friends are warned, and the new universe is waiting."
He activated the watch. A blinding, pure white light enveloped the three figures, a light that contained the full spectrum of time and space. When the light faded a moment later, the center of the living room was empty.
Diana sighed, touching the necklace around her neck. "Well," she said to Didi and Susan, a thoughtful, determined glint in her eyes. "I suppose I have the Hell Dimension to myself now. I should test the God Slayer against a few demons."
Susan, already feeling the mental pressure of the mystic arts knowledge, nodded firmly. "I will start my runic practice tomorrow. I won’t be the weakest link for long."
Didi picked up her red wine once more, "I have two anxious twins to stabilize. Let’s hope those three leave the Omniverse in one piece."
With shared hope for a new dawn and their own respective goals, the three women retired, leaving the massive residence silent, awaiting the distant return of their beloved.
.....
Miles away from the shimmering residue of the Omni-Watch’s jump point, the world remained utterly mundane.
Inside a brightly lit, slightly worn convenience store—the kind that smelled of old coffee and fresh plastic—an old man with a shock of thick white hair and a neatly trimmed mustache stood near the counter.
He was wearing a pair of dark, expensive-looking sunglasses despite the late hour. His gaze wasn’t fixed on the racks of chewing gum or lottery tickets, but outward, through the glass door, toward the distant, affluent neighborhood that housed the Carter Residence.
A slow, knowing smile spread across his face, a silent acknowledgment of the energy that had just vanished from the universe.
"Well now," the old man murmured to the empty aisle, a hint of theatrical wonder in his voice. "It seems the boy finally got the recipe right. That’s something extraordinary, even for him. He didn’t just get an upgrade; he built a whole new platform this time."
He chuckled, adjusting the sunglasses that hid the cosmic sparkle in his eyes. "I truly enjoy seeing his growth. Always overachieving, that one. I wonder which shiny new toys he’ll manage to pick up on this trip. The Omniverse is vast, and he certainly packs an appetite for the spectacular."
A gruff voice broke the silence. "Hey, Stan!"
The old man, Stan, turned with an easy grin to face the store owner, a weary man who was already stacking milk crates.
"Why the heck are you still wearing those sunglasses, Stan? It’s after midnight, the lights are on, and you’re indoors andyYou look like you’re in some old spy movie." the owner complained before moving to wipe down the counter.
"Is there a rule saying a man can’t wear stylish eyewear when he feels the mood strike him?" Stan countered smoothly, his smile widening. "Besides, the future is looking incredibly bright. A man’s got to protect his retinas."
The owner scoffed. "Not a rule, just weird."
Stan shrugged before adjusting his shades. "Weird is just another word for interesting. You’ll understand when you’ve seen enough worlds."
The man blinked. "Worlds? You mean countries, right?"
Stan only smiled wider while muttering under his breath, "Sure, let’s go with that."
The owner just shook his head. "You and your philosophies. Look, there haven’t been any customers for an hour. It’s time to close up shop, Stan. I need to get home."
Stan’s grin softened into something genuinely profound. He clapped the owner lightly on the shoulder.
"You’re right, my friend," he agreed, his eyes gleaming behind the dark lenses. "It is indeed time to close the shop. So that we can open it tomorrow, for a brand new day, and a new future."
The owner rolled his eyes. "You always talk like you’re in some movie, old man."
Stan chuckled. "Maybe I am."
With a final wink, Stan turned and walked out the door, vanishing into the quiet, starlit night, leaving the owner to lock up the store and marvel at the old man’s uncanny, persistent optimism.
.....
**Unknown universe, Unknown location**
The brilliant white light of the Omni-Watch snapped shut, replaced instantly by oppressive darkness, cold humidity, and the pervasive scent of damp rock and ancient earth.
Ethan, Jean, and Anna materialized with a soft, echoing thud onto the coarse stone floor of what was clearly a cave. But this was no ordinary cavern.
It was massive—a titanic vault carved deep beneath the earth. Only slivers of light filtered in from a distant, unknown source, casting unsettling shadows.
"Well, darling, did the watch decide we needed a rustic theme for the honeymoon?" Anna quipped, already using her enhanced senses to scan the gloom. "Because this is heavy on the rustic and low on the champagne."
Jean placed a hand on Ethan’s arm, her telepathic presence steady yet cautious. ’The atmospheric pressure feels different. And the energy here...’
Ethan nodded, already seeing what they couldn’t. Thanks to his Genesis Authority, he didn’t just sense energy; he perceived nature of this reality.
The entire cavern was saturated with Mana—a raw, magical essence that vibrated with a unique resonance, similar to the Mystic Arts energy he channeled, but more denser and localized.
He could also feel it — a massive life energy, impossibly dense, unlike anything he had sensed before not powerful but different. It wasn’t just power; it was a living being, ancient, and aware.
"Relax, ladies. We landed exactly where the watch decided we needed to be," Ethan said, his voice low and tingling with restrained excitement.
Just then, his senses flared. A localized, enormous concentration of life energy was approaching them with impossible speed.
It was not the structured, power of a god, nor the chaotic magic of a demon, but something primal and human, yet utterly immense.
Jean and Anna noticed it as well, tensing in anticipation. But Ethan saw something more. A faint, chilling trace of death energy lingered around the individual. It was small, almost imperceptible, yet unmistakable — a sign of power that could snuff out life in a moment.
"Seems like we have company." Jean murmured, her eyes narrowing as the movement became audibly distinct. "And it’s moving fast."
A second later, the figure burst into their limited sphere of vision. He was tall, powerfully built, and dressed in heavy, dusty miner’s attire, his shirt notably absent, revealing impressive musculature. His black hair and sharp black eyes framed an intensely focused Asian face, likely Korean.
He stopped abruptly, his posture instantly defensive, and spoke in sharp, fast Korean, "Nuguseyo? Yeogi-seo mwo haseyo?" ("Who are you people, and what are you doing here?")
Ethan smiled inwardly, satisfied that his global corporate requirement for language lessons hadn’t gone to waste.
Jean took point, speaking in clear, measured Korean. "Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Jean Grey, this is Anna Marie, and our husband is Ethan Carter. We apologize; we arrived here accidentally. Could you please show us the way out?"
The man’s guard only intensified. His dark eyes scanned their spotless attire—Ethan’s suit, the elegant gowns—and the obvious power radiating from them. "This isn’t a place for normal people to walk around accidentally," he said. "You... Who are you people? No... what are you?"
Anna and Jean exchanged a brief, concerned glance before turning back to Ethan. His face was turned slightly away, and his powerful shoulders were subtly trembling.
"Ethan, are you okay?" Anna asked, concern overriding her usual combat readiness. She moved toward him, while Jean kept a vigilant eye on the suspicious Korean man.
Ethan slowly lifted his head. The excitement on his face was nearly overwhelming, his eyes glowing with that tell-tale blue. He was more than fine; he was ecstatic.
The trembling was not fear, but the joyous surge of a fanboy’s ultimate destiny being fulfilled.
His eyes locked onto the small, rectangular name tag hanging around the man’s neck, a standard precaution for dungeon teams.
It was enough.
’This... this is it,’ Ethan thought, his heart racing. ’The world I’ve always wanted to visit since I got the Omni Watch. And he’s... him."
He controlled the tremor, replacing it with a grin of supreme confidence—the kind of look that said, ’I just won the lottery of destiny.’ Ethan took a deliberate step toward the startled Korean, his hand extending in a gesture of simple, disarming respect.
"I’m perfectly alright, Anna. Better than alright, in fact," Ethan announced, speaking clearly in perfect, fluent Korean now. "My name is Ethan Carter. It is a genuine pleasure to make your acquaintance, Mr. Sung Jinwoo."
The name landed like a hammer blow. Jinwoo’s eyes widened slightly in surprise that this strangely dressed foreigner knew his name.
But when he noticed Ethan glancing at his name tag, it all clicked, he understood why this guy already knew his name.
Before he could react, another figure arrived in a blur of motion, stopping just behind him.
She was a breathtaking beauty, radiating an intense, controlled power. Dressed in specialized red armor with a sword hilt visible at her waist, she instantly raised the tension in the cave to a breaking point.
"Nugu-ya?" she demanded, her hand resting firmly on her sword grip, her gaze sharp and cold. "Who are you people?"
Jean and Anna stiffened slightly, their eyes tracking every movement.
Ethan’s internal joy reached critical mass. ’Cha Hae-In... the female lead of this world. The one who’s as deadly as she is beautiful.’
He knew the man beside her as well, the male protagonist destined to become the Shadow Monarch, the strongest of all monarchs, Sung Jinwoo.
The man who would become the Shadow Monarch. The woman who was an S rank Hunter. The sheer perfection of their accidental arrival in the heart of the dungeon.
He looked from the future Monarch to the formidable Hunter, his grin turning into a confident, dangerous smirk.
’Jackpot,’ Ethan thought, mentally doing a victory dance while maintaining an impossibly calm exterior.
The world they had entered was none other than Solo Leveling—the most popular and trending manhwa of all time. This Omniversal Honeymoon was going to be an absolute legend.
