100- A Step Forward for Civilization (1)

Year Sixty-Eighth of the Father God Calendar.

The space race had begun, and more than a dozen satellites were being launched into orbit. From telecommunication to weather observation, as well as satellite navigation, all of these were launched.

The development of the technology also increased once again since the races on the Cerulean Planet had their insight increased, so they could produce more new things.

The Transcendent Tree was also developing with the limit of the third heavenstage of the Core Formation Realm broken, reaching the fourth heavenstage. Furthermore, there were some protests from the Elves that their Sacred Trees were too near each other and which caused some problems for the Sacred Tree.

“Master, please consider moving some Sacred Trees to the Comberth Continent or to that archipelago.” Frie spoke as a reminder for Dian.

“Alright. Let’s move five of them. Four to the Comberth Continent and one to the distant archipelago. How about that?” Dian suggested.

“That is good. We need to balance things out if we want the planet to flourish.” Frie agreed and even the Planet Spirit also helped in moving the Sacred Trees using spatial manipulation.

The Elves were delighted to hear that their problems were being solved, so they gathered their population to enter the Sacred Trees and then teleported them to the designated location.

Dian had become more skillful in his spatial manipulation so it was a piece of cake for him to do all that. With the Planet Spirit, the matter became even easier.

He selected empty areas near the forests before teleporting the Sacred Trees.

“That should do it. Looks like I need to consider the distance and number of the Sacred Tree in a certain area to prevent the situation from repeating.” Dian swiped the panel and made it disappear.

Planet Master had to make sure that the planets under them were thriving. It helped in gathering additional energy points. Although the increase was minuscule, but the improvement could go into the distant future.

There were several ways to gather energy points. Winning the Star Battle could be one source, and receiving some kind of energy could become another. Trading was also a good option for the Planet Master.

But what was best was for one’s civilization to improve in its Technology or Transcendent Tree before the Planet Master could profit from the energy the civilization produced.

That was the constant energy point source for a Planet Master.

“The concentration of Ether has increased further.” Ghylea said.

Dian turned to look at him and gestured for him to continue.

“This means that the planet will start changing in its core and the surface. It has reached the threshold.” Ghylea added.

“Please pay attention to any change to the planet’s ecosystem.” Dian ordered which Ghylea nodded and also let Frie join in since she was also an expert in the Ether transcendent energy.

The five of them were working to better the planet while time passed slowly but surely. Many adjustments need attention. Even the Planet Spirit had to be involved.

“Master! Please don’t dump things to do to me!” the Planet Spirit protested while doing multiple tasks at once.

The transformation for the living beings and the thing inside the planet was in progress and it went further that the civilizations on the planets were giving an alert to go outside the Safe Zone.

The Gling, on the other hand, was thriving due to the strength of the giant beasts around their Hive. The Elves were getting an unexpected ally in the beasts that needed Ether to further their own path to strength, residing around the Sacred Trees.

In just one year, the planet had undergone a total transformation.

Dian then looked at his Star Child and realized that Tatsumi was finally preparing for graduation, Charlene with her multiple research projects as well as her own development in the mind aspect of a human.

Basically, they were busy with their own matter. Charlene was already in her most suitable position to develop technology while Tatsumi was preparing to go to the Transcendent Academy to further his study into the world of transcendent.

Both of them were essential for the development of the civilization so Dian paid the most attention in his time to them, other than managing the entire planet.

“Eh? I remember that they are going on numerous dates. Looks like they are starting to be serious in their relationship. I wonder when they will marry each other?” Dian wondered and decided to sit down on his throne.

Then he also looked after the people related to them. They had a fulfilling time and were happy with their life, far from the conflict of the Star Battle.

But the possibility of the next Star Battle happening in the Comberth Continent increases. I don’t even know the exact place a Rift will appear after all.

Dian then looked at the reverse-engineered device and knew that the civilization had advanced beyond his imagination. Even the Transcendent Tree which was almost stalled in progress now flowing much faster.

He also checked the [Friend] list and only found that Tritis was listed. He felt that he needed to do something to prove his worth to her. It was because he was afraid that he would fall short of the expectation that she had given.

Then it was the time of the most importance, reading the things on the [Forum].

He opened it and saw many articles appearing at a fast rate that he could not possibly read them all that instant.

“Alright. Let’s settle down the most common topics. What does a Second Rank Planet Master have to do?”

He entered the question and it resulted in many topics to be discussed. He chose the most read ones since they were popular.

With this, he increased the common knowledge a Planet Master had. It also served to make sense of what he considered new and to form a common sense.

Then he went to the Achievement to see the update that the Planet Master System had acknowledged from his actions so far.

Achievement of Planet Master Dian’s civilization:

-The Fortunate

[This civilization has a streak of luck greatly involved in their development. This achievement has been brought out to light by the Planet Master System so that the civilization becomes more favored in their future development.]

-Undead Mastery

[This civilization has the ability to partially harness the Undead Element. Due to this fact, the Planet Master System has noticed this fact and added this to the Achievement category.]

-Ether Mastery

[This civilization has the ability to partially harness the Ether. Due to this fact, the Planet Master System has noticed this facr and added this to the Achievement category

-Dual Wielder

[You are one of the rare Planet Masters who harness both Technology and Transcendent Tree, officially acknowledged by the Planet Master System.]

Seeing the two new achievements caused Dian to let out a whistle as he smiled. This meant that his choice affected the Planet Master System’s evaluation of him. The other Planet Master who visited his profile could see this too and a few were surprised.

But they could not contact Dian and could only speculate that the new Planet Master was truly daring to attempt to wield both the Technological and Transcendent Tree.

If they ever met Dian, they would likely surrender. Who did not know about the advantage of Dual Wielder?

Furthermore, they would rather form a good relationship. Especially with trading specialty, that could form a partner to trade something that the Planet Master needed.

“Father God, do you want to see our new specialties?” Ghylea appeared in front of Dian and asked.

“What is it that can be used as a specialty other than Malicium and Etherium?” Dian asked and put aside the panel that showed the Achievement category.

“It is actually the Heart of Nature. That is what the transcendents called the source of the Sacred Tree’s Ether Production facility. Now, they can be produced in quite a number. Many Planet Masters needed this specialty since it is so valuable to have for a civilization.” Ghylea explained.

“This is actually a joint effort from the Elves, the Humans and the Dwarves. Please give the credit where it’s due.” Frie interjected.

Both of them were actually the two races with different transcendent energy for their races, not only that, the nature of their transcendent energies was polar opposite. It was no wonder that the two would form a competitive action.

Dian felt a headache but he suppressed it. There was something valuable in the Heart of Nature and Dian wondered what kind of thing could be exchanged for it.

“Alright. Let’s just say that this Heart of Nature is a result of everyone working on it. You two don’t need to be so eager to show your usefulness.” Dian said as a reprimand to the two.

Then he put it in the exchange category after appearing right in front of the numerous scientists and realized that they had developed the Heart of Nature quite well and were even recognized by the Father God.

“We will remember that this is also the item recognized by the Father God. We can offer this as an offering to you.” Dian remembered that one of the scientists said this to him.

He reluctantly accepted their ‘offering’ and put it into the exchange category.

[Specialty Name: Heart of Nature

 Rank: Two

Description: After researching the Sacred Tree’s Ether-producing facility, the Humans, the Dwarves and the Elves managed to create one that can be carried anywhere it is needed. This is the crystallization of the transcendent from the three races and is going to be beneficial to the Transcendent Tree development.]

Then he just needed to find an item of equal value. Only after he found a suitable specialty did he accept the exchange.

The item in question was glowing with light in the Planet Master’s space before it changed to something that Dian needed.

It was nothing much in terms of size, just like the Heart of Nature. But its utility was actually the most needed in the civilization.

“What are you exchanging the Heart of Nature for?” Leif looked at the brilliant light that suddenly appeared and realized it was a large object.

“Something that can accelerate the development of technology on our planet.” Dian replied while peeling away the flashy light.

After the light disappeared, the five of them could see the full picture of the object.

“This is a miniature of the spaceship. In it, many technologies can be applied if scientists and engineers reverse-engineer it. The best part is that it has a miniature controlled fusion reactor as its energy core. You all know that Nuclear Fusion is the endpoint of the T2 Technology Tree.” Dian explained his purpose for exchanging the Heart of Nature for this object.

“I must say that I am impressed by your decision. Damn!” Leif exclaimed as he examined the miniature spaceship and walked around it to look closer.

“How are you going to use it?” Frie asked.

“Well, we need to place it in the special area. The problem is that this spaceship will share its place with the meteorite that fell. Meaning, that place will be the research center of the world.” Dian said and had already decided to let the spaceship stay there for research purposes.

He also realized that the exchange could not be hidden from the ones who had witnessed Dian taking the Heart of Nature.

“Well, that goes our first fruit of research.” One transcendent scientist said after seeing that Dian took the item.

“It means that something else will appear for us. It is not a bad thing.” Another commented.

“In any case, we need to report this to the related departments. We don’t know what kind of things will appear. I have a hunch that it will be quite a surprise for us.”

“What? Just like when we have the first Etherium?”

“Yes. That’s why we need to inform them in the field too. Probably the new item will be there, although that is just my gut feeling telling me.”

The reaction from the scientists was what Dian wanted, as he had a previous record of doing so. The Cloud Legion also guided them to have a certain feeling.

After all that commotion, Dian saw that the meteorite site was enlarged by the order of the Transcendent Academy to accommodate the new item that the Father God would bring.

“What do you think it will be?” one transcendent asked about the new item that would appear.

“Something that we will absolutely needed.” His friend replied with seriousness.

Then there was a blinding light before the razed area and something with a metal exterior came out of it. The scientists, the transcendents and the rest of the soldiers there saw the thing as large as a small field and as high as a three-story building.

“What is that thing? Does anyone know?” someone asked with the intention of knowing the thing in front of him.

“Incoming message from the HQ, it is actually a miniature spaceship. Spaceship is like what we know in fiction; it is said that it could carry living beings across the entire star system, if not the sea of stars. To think that this item is exchanged with the Heart of Nature means that there are technologies in it that could be reverse-engineered by us!” exclaimed one soldier.

“Is that true!?”

“Of course! There are signs of the propulsion behind this thing and there are several ways to enter it. Just look closely and you would realize the same thing.”

Then they were studying the ways of entering it and there were several pathways that appeared to make them able to get on the spaceship.

They entered the spaceship and started studying the structure as well as the utility of each thing in it.

In another Planet Master Space of a certain Planet Master.

This Planet Master’s Core Race was actually a being with grey skin and a large head. His race managed to get high in the Technology Tree, managing to create their first miniature spaceship and used that success as a blueprint for future creation.

But there was one chronic problem the race had, their lifespan.

That was why the Planet Master tried to look for something that could help his race but nothing satisfactory came up. He managed to reach the end of T2 in the Technology Tree and was prepared for his promotion to the Third Rank Planet Master.

Then he came to see something that could change his race’s situation. It was so rare that the Planet Master doubted his sight.

But then he quickly initiated an exchange. The technology of the spaceship was already mature for his race and just needed some final adjustment to reach T3.

It was because the item in question was the Heart of Nature, something that could let his Core Race benefit from the effect it had. Increasing lifespan was one thing but the effect of cellular rejuvenation could not be ignored.

“I am so glad to quickly exchange the first miniature spaceship for that. I think the other side thought that exchanging with the spaceship benefited them more than what I have gained.” The Planet Master looked at the effect of the Heart of Nature and remembered its description.

“What is a Human? I have never heard of such a race and they managed to make an Acquired Race of the Dwarves and the Elves. Even though there is no news regarding this race in the Forum and the Planet Master Service Center. I should take note in case I cross paths with the Planet Master of this race.” The Planet Master took a mental note and wanted to see for himself whether the new race could reach higher in the Universe Field.

“Who would’ve thought that time passed whether you want it or not. It is good that I have something to strengthen myself.” Tatsumi sighed as he looked into the sky, thinking about the supposedly new development for the civilization.

It was said that there was a restricted area in the Comberth Continent where the people could find the cause of the rapid advancement of the Technological and Transcendental aspects.

He knew about this due to his connection with Charlene and realized that this was intended by the Father God.

Add the fact that the Nafs in the afterlife were talking about it, which further verified the news as being genuine.

But now that he was ready to graduate meant that he had to pursue something and he had an idea in mind.

“I should be able to further my studies regarding the transcendent if I can stay in the Transcendent Academy as a student.” Tatsumi mused at the idea.

He now had a purpose in life and he wanted to realize it through his own hands. He would go there whether he was helped or not and that became his determination.

But first…he had to attend the graduation ceremony.

“Can you hear me?” Ame’s voice in the distance could be heard and Tatsumi came out of his trance.

“Don’t shout too loud or the others will hear!” Tatsumi replied quickly while making sure that his appearance was appropriate.

Other than that, he also knew that his teacher had handled something important and had only a few months to accompany him in teaching and sharing his experience regarding the transcendent-related thing.

Tatsumi was sure that his teacher had done something in the Comberth Continent for a reason and should head back to the Heavensend Continent.

He put this thought aside and came outside from an empty classroom, seeing that everyone in his cohort was ready for the ceremony.

“Are you ready to graduate from this high school?” Ame asked with a teasing tone.

Tatsumi scoffed but still replied, “Of course! We should move forward in life as much as we can. Don’t let time pass by without doing anything; that’s a big waste. Let’s go!”

The two went to the closed-door gym, where it was large enough for people to see the ceremony.

As of that moment onward, Tatsumi and Ame became graduates from the high school.
