An Junxi watched her daughter dragging her little bag towards the door. She was both amused and exasperated. Ever since her grandparents bought her this little bag, she insisted on taking it everywhere she went.
Liang Huiyun followed behind, saying, "Grandma will take Aixi."
Baby Aixi said, "Mommy has to go."
An Junxi picked up her phone, "Alright, let’s go together."
As they passed by Gu Qianlan’s room, Baby Aixi lifted her head and went "shh," saying, "Auntie is fierce."
She meant they couldn’t make noise, fearing Auntie would get mad.
An Junxi and her mother-in-law exchanged a glance, Liang Huiyun said, "This little one, her thinking is on par with a three or four-year-old."
In her heart, An Junxi thought, Aixi is much smarter than Gu Qianlan. Gu Qianlan’s intelligence has seriously brought the Gu Family down!
The three of them took a golf cart around to the gym next to the golf course. Aixi loved sightseeing in the cart and said, "Let’s go out and play."
Liang Huiyun said, "This isn’t going out, we’re still at home!" The Gu Family’s estate covered a significant area; just circling the golf course and the helipad took most of the day.
Aixi didn’t understand. In her baby mind, home was inside the house, and outside the house was outside.
She looked at her mother puzzled. An Junxi said, "Because our home is big."
Aixi spread her little arms and asked, "Is it this big?"
An Junxi stifled a laugh, "Hmm, even bigger."
Aixi’s little legs flailed, "It’s really big!"
Liang Huiyun held her close, "Be careful in the car."
The little baby stayed obediently still. The car stopped at the gym entrance, and Aixi ran inside. She came running back out crying and almost tripped, "Daddy hit brother, I’m scared!"
An Junxi picked up her daughter and walked in a few steps to see Gu Yikun pinning Jin Xiu down on a mat.
Gu Yikun’s strong upper body was bare, sweat gliding over the valleys of his muscles. His potent presence was indeed a bit intimidating at first glance.
Gu Jin Xiu heard his sister crying and immediately jumped up, "Aixi, I didn’t get hit!"
This was his pride as a big brother!
Gu Yikun, worried about scaring his daughter, took off his arm guard and tossed it aside. He roughly wiped the sweat off with a towel and walked over.
Aixi peeked out from her mother’s arms, still frightened at the sight of her father approaching, "No hitting, no hitting."
An Junxi coaxed her, "Aixi is the bravest; how could she be afraid of Daddy?"
Liang Huiyun kissed her granddaughter, "Daddy and brother are training, not really hitting."
Gu Jin Xiu, determined to regain his dignity, showed off his little muscles, "Sister, look, your brother is strong."
An Junxi saw Jin Xiu straining to flex his thin arms. She stifled a laugh and used the towel to wipe his sweat, "Quick, wipe the sweat off so you don’t catch a cold."
Gu Yikun said to her, "I need a towel too."
An Junxi saw that Gu Yikun could not get the towel himself. She gave him a playful glance, handed her daughter over to her mother-in-law, and grabbed another towel to wipe his sweat, "That’s enough training for tonight. Let’s go back and rest."
Aixi, seeing that her brother was indeed not beaten, dragged him by the hand and said, "Go home, no hitting."
Gu Yikun, seeing how she protected her brother, asked, "Am I that scary?"
Liang Huiyun replied, "If I had known, I wouldn’t have brought the kids. You do look a bit frightening. I’ll take the kids home first, you two follow later." It was as if Gu Yikun had done something wrong.
An Junxi watched Liang Huiyun leave and dumbfoundedly said, "Mom truly dotes on her grandchildren."
Gu Yikun lifted her and placed her on the nearby table, "No worries, you have a husband to dote on you."
An Junxi tried to get down, but Gu Yikun blocked her. He took a sip of water and said, "Won’t my wife help me wipe off my sweat?"
An Junxi watched as his sweat slid from his neck over his broad chest, disappearing slowly into the lines of his abs with each breath. Her palms suddenly became sweaty.
This man was devilishly attractive, handsome and fit. Her thoughts began to wander.
Gu Yikun’s arms propped on either side of her. He leaned forward, gazing at her. His beautiful eyes were warm yet intense, and his voice carried a teasing tone, "What’s my wife looking at? Satisfied with your husband’s body?"
An Junxi felt a sudden thirst and swallowed her saliva.
Gu Yikun then kissed her lips.
An Junxi didn’t evade, nor could she.
His kiss was accompanied by aggressive hormones. In his arms, she felt even more delicate and fragile, instinctively tightening her grip around his neck.
Her nails left scratches on his back, only releasing when she was nearly out of breath.
An Junxi panted against his shoulder, Gu Yikun’s hand slid under her shirt, reaching to unclasp her bra. An Junxi exclaimed, "Yikun, not here..."
Gu Yikun stopped, gritting his teeth as if trying to suppress something. He threw on a nearby shirt, picked her up, and said, "Let’s go back."
An Junxi struggled, "I can walk by myself."
With so many gardeners outside, it would be too indecent if they were seen.
Gu Yikun put her down, and they both got into the car heading back to the main house.
An Junxi’s face was flushed. She didn’t dare lift her head the whole way. The car stopped in front of the courtyard, and Gu Yikun took her hand to help her out.
An Junxi wanted to check on her daughter, but Gu Yikun didn’t let go of her hand as they walked into the hall and saw Sister Li. Gu Yikun asked, "Where’s Aixi?"
Sister Li replied, "The Master and Madam took the kids to the playground."
Gu Yikun led An Junxi upstairs; she knew what he was about to do. She grasped the railing with her free hand, "I should check on the kids."
Gu Yikun simply threw her over his shoulder and carried her upstairs, "My sweat got on your clothes. You need a shower."
An Junxi shivered, "You go first."
Gu Yikun grinned mischievously, "We’ll shower together."
And thus, An Junxi was fully conquered by her husband.
That night, Liang Huiyun brought the children back. Seeing their bedroom door tightly shut, she instinctively took the kids to her own room. "Aixi, you’ll sleep with Grandpa and Grandma tonight."
Gu Aixi wanted to knock on the door, "I want Mommy and Daddy."
Liang Huiyun said, "Mommy is tired and needs to sleep."
Gu Jin Xiu muttered, "I train and I’m not tired, Mommy is really weak."
Liang Huiyun took the kids away. An Junxi heard their conversation from the room and covered her face with the blanket, thinking her mother-in-law was really considerate.
Gu Yikun, having tasted the sweetness, pulled her back into his arms, "Wife, the kids are resting, let’s have another round, hmm?"
He whispered in her ear, making An Junxi’s ears itch. She hunched her shoulders, "Husband, I’m tired now, you are too..."
"Too what?"
An Junxi bit her lip in silence, Gu Yikun kissed her, "I told you, don’t abuse your lips."
An Junxi felt wronged, not even having that bit of freedom.
Gu Yikun pressed her, "You said your husband is too what?"
An Junxi weakly punched his chest, he always pushed her to such embarrassing points!
Gu Yikun’s hand moved down, "Not saying? Then I’ll bully you."
An Junxi closed her eyes and blurted out, "Too fierce, husband."
Gu Yikun laughed with satisfaction, his hand continuing to move down, "Does it hurt here?"
"Still, still okay."
"Then, how about another round."
