Aurelia Shaw called Viscount Zhou.
"Where are you? Didn't you say I've been neglecting you lately? How about I treat you to dinner tonight?"
"Me? I'm at Cloud Pavilion Garden. My dad's home today, so I snuck out." Viscount Zhou's voice had a lazy tone, "Hey, you're not inviting me to dinner just to push me on that task you gave me this afternoon, are you?"
"You make it sound like I have no humanity." Aurelia Shaw squinted her alluring eyes, the afternoon sunlight streaming through the window. She leaned lazily against the chair with a captivating gaze, as if she could steal someone's soul in an instant.
"I'd still attend any 'Hongmen Banquet' you throw!" Viscount Zhou joked yet again.
However, before he could say anything else, Aurelia Shaw had already hung up the phone.
Knowing he was at Cloud Pavilion Garden was enough.
Since childhood, Viscount Zhou liked to cling to her. When he found out she bought a house at Cloud Pavilion Garden, he immediately bought the one opposite her, saying he wanted to be her neighbor because he didn't feel at ease leaving a woman like her to live alone at night.
In truth, he had long wanted to move out but feared having no one to play with if he lived alone. Though he appeared lively, Viscount Zhou was actually afraid of loneliness, likely because his parents were too busy with work when he was young to spend time with him. He rarely stays alone; he's either at a bar or with friends.
Aurelia Shaw knocked on the door opposite.
Inside, there was a hesitant pause of a minute before someone came lazily to open the door. Before the door was even open, Viscount Zhou's displeased voice came through, "Who is it!"
The voice stopped abruptly.
Aurelia's thin eyebrows arched, "Young Master Zhou, can I come in?"
Aurelia held the glass in her hands, took a couple of sips, and looked around his room, "Do you have any alcohol here?"
"Why are you asking about alcohol?" Viscount Zhou looked at her suspiciously, "You can't handle alcohol and get drunk with just a little, so why drink?"
"I'm here just to snag some alcohol from you. Later, my little sister's making dinner. If you want to come, make sure to bring that bottle of alcohol." Aurelia held the cup, heading out.
"Hey, aren't you returning my cup?"
Aurelia pretended not to hear him, slipping into her slippers, pulling a wide hat over her head, and walking away slowly.
Viscount Zhou exhaled helplessly.
This really is a little ancestor.
Half an hour later, Viscount Zhou carried a bottle of wine over. Ursa Miller served the food on the table, and upon seeing Viscount Zhou, she was momentarily stunned, then smiled with curved brows, "Hello, Young Master Zhou, my Young Madam is waiting for you."
Viscount Zhou was taken aback, her clean and pretty face looking refreshing. Often frequenting bars, he was used to seeing women with heavy makeup, and it had been a while since he'd seen such a fresh face.
"Hey, where did you abduct this young lady?" Viscount Zhou jokingly said.
"Don't think about my maid." Aurelia Shaw stood up and walked towards him, sniffing the wine he held, "What kind of wine is this?"
She wasn't good with alcohol and didn't know much about it.
Viscount Zhou smiled, his tiger teeth particularly attractive, "Don't worry, I won't give you bad wine. This is a red wine I've treasured for a long time, got it from my dad. It doesn't have a high alcohol content, but red wine has a strong aftereffect, so don't run around at night, got it?"
