Hearing his wife’s words, Yang Ming’s face was pinched out of shape, but he felt delighted inside. He was confident in their relationship, believing that no matter who tried to interfere, they couldn’t separate him and his wife.
Seeing Yang Ming’s silly smile, Xiaoxiao let go of his face, rolled her eyes at him, "Silly look."

What Yang Ming said was exactly what Xiaoxiao had been thinking. Suggesting Medicine King Valley was merely a delaying tactic. As long as they could get off the Fire Execution Site, they could figure out other ways to escape. Whether the others could be cured wasn’t within her concern.
She wasn’t so kind-hearted as to worry about those people’s lives, especially since they wanted to kill them.

Xiaoxiao nodded. That’s all they could do. Although she wasn’t willing to give up so many belongings, escaping with their lives was more important. "Husband, should we take Shitou’s mother and child with us?"
If they left, Little Shitou and his mother might be driven away by the villagers or even burned. They could ignore the fates of the villagers, but Shitou’s mother and child genuinely cared for them; they couldn’t just abandon them.
But considering it was already hard for the three of them to escape, bringing along two more, especially a child and a blind person, would make it even harder. They were caught in a dilemma. After a moment, Yang Ming spoke, "Honey, let’s take them with us. Let the little sheep carry big sister-in-law, and we’ll leave some more things behind."
