Chapter 596: Do Not Read

Chapter 185

"Let her stay there." The vampire spoke, while Sarah was moving away from the scene.

"What?! This is not going to happen." Of course, Julianna disagreed. The others didn’t know but she knew how valuable Sarah was. Had Adrian known her importance, he would have never let her go. Of course, that was only her under that assumption, and maybe others.

However, Alastair thought differently. The reason Adrian had given was bullsh*t. A person like him would have no interest in beauty. Adrian knew who Sarah was when Alastair subtly caught him glancing at her bracelet.

But, Alastair didn’t speak up. For now, he didn’t know for sure that these esteemed leaders would even listen to him. Besides, he had no empathy for Sarah, so there was no reason for him to intervene.

"Let her stay and observe from afar. We need as much information as we can get." Astaroth also agreed with the vampire’s suggestion. It wasn’t just him, the other races did as well.

Julianna was now in a tight predicament. The only reason she had sent Sarah away in the first place was due to her status. She knew these races were honorable but she wouldn’t take a chance when it came to them. But if she were to reveal Sarah’s true identity, then the difference between them was too far for Julianna to protect her.

Under the firm insistent of everyone at the table, she inhaled and said, "Very well. But she will leave the moment any danger comes to her. And I will stop every operation I have in Bellator."

This was a big condition. So much more than the other races could afford. If Julianna were to draw her eyes from Bellator, it would take decades to establish new ones.

"Have you gone insane? Don’t you care about our goals?" Of course, many blamed her for that condition but she was firm. She didn’t budge even though all the other races called her selfish and such.

In the end, they had to agree to her condition. All they could hope was that Sarah wasn’t caught because they couldn’t afford the consequences to come with them. They couldn’t lose the elves, the elves held great power even among all the races. Julianna herself was almost a divine ranked being and their saint, Natasha could also rival a divine ranked being after the blessing from the world’s tree.

They all agreed in the end and Sarah on the other hand had to stop running after she received a new order. She was also given the condition to run away so she wasn’t very worried about this decision.

She returned and arrived at the place just outside of Adrian’s senses but somewhere where she could see the events folding down there without any problem.

Just as she settled in a position and began to monitor a building where she had suspected Adrian to be, an explosion ensued from the building, making a giant hole in the left side of the building. Five figures jumped backward out of the building with various injuries.

On the other hand, a figure slowly stepped outside of the slowly crumbling building. Draped in a white suit, devoid of any injuries or even a speck of dust, his white hair and white eyes created an image that pulled one in instead of making them apprehensive.

Hundreds of glowing spheres around him only enhanced the majestic scene in everyone’s view. Too bad, there were only a handful of people who could witness that.

But those who could, only see the threat that majestic man represented, not the otherworldly beauty that was hard to ignore.

******

[Your stalker is back]

Of course was. No matter what her position, Julianna wouldn’t reveal that. And if she wouldn’t, then she was just another elf in the eyes of others. It didn’t make sense to be so protective of one elf. The opportunity to gather information was more important than some elf.

But, my attention has to be on these pieces of waste first. Whatever the races gather about me today would be useless in just a few months. Besides, it wasn’t like I was going to display everything of mine here and even if I did, the power I had was more than enough to deal with them.

Although my earlier concentrated attack was dangerous, these guys were fine and dandy. Although they had suffered a few injuries, they seemed to be fine.

I mean, that small one seemed to have suffered the most injuries, surface wounds but still, that suggested he was the weakest among this group. Then there were other two among them, not squeaky clean but the amount of flesh wounds on them weren’t to the point I would call them injured.

Then, last but not least, the other, the spiky-haired guy and Big Poppa, didn’t have even a scratch on them. It was understandable in the case of Big Poppa since his endurance was his main aspect so it was obvious his defense would be high.

However, the spiky was also a surprise, his rank wasn’t S.

[Dalton SS-]

[Jonah SS]

Spiky, also known as Dalton was an SS- rank while the biggest surprise, Big Poppa, named Jonah was an SS rank. No wonder they weren’t harmed in the least.

This was going to be very hard for me. It wouldn’t have been if I just had to kill them, but now that the soul entrapment would mend them back with only an additional factor of pain, it was going to be difficult.

[Look on the bright side]

[You don’t have to worry about them dying]

That was a bright side. Usually, I would be too worried to use my power for fear that I might end up breaking them, but now that they couldn’t be broken, why would I need to hold my power back?

You know what! Screw the races. Screw every plan they have. Screw everything. I just want to let loose tonight.

[Angel’s blessing Lv: Max]

[All stats +50%]

The cost of this skill was about 100 per head. Expensive compared to the last blessing but my stats were increased by a whopping 50%, that wasn’t an increase that could be de dismissed. Not to mention the duration of the skill.

[Duration: 30 minutes]

[Cooldown: 10 minutes]

Although there was now a cooldown, it didn’t matter too much because I would just need to use the skill once. Besides, soon my power would increase by a lot, and with it, MP would naturally increase. When my INT reached 500, I received an MP boost. I wonder if I would again.

I turned my attention back to my targets and took a step forward. My stats were now incomparable to these worthless beings. Muhahaha!!!!

[...]

[Falling into character I see]

I simply stepped forward yet the next moment I was in front of the guy who was injured the most. Although his wounds were slowly healing thanks to the soul entrapment, they weren’t still fully gone yet.

Before they could even understand what had happened, I plunged my hand through his chest and ripped his heart out. Too bad he was still alive so I couldn’t store the heart in my inventory. I could however throw it away and let him live with the pain of no heart for a while because it will soon come back to him.

"Ahhhh!!!!" Of course, he screamed.

[Who wouldn’t]

’Touché’

I let the screaming guy fall to his knees while he clutched his chest. Although he won’t die, he won’t get used to the never-ending pain as well.

The others looked in horror as to why the guy was still alive. I turned to them and said with a smile, "Didn’t I say? None of you would be dying tonight."

I then moved again and appeared in front of the other two targets. This time, however, the others didn’t remain stunned, they also jumped at me but the only one that could match me in speed was spiky, the rest were too slow.

His and mine fists collided, of course, I was the winner in matters of strength, and endurance, now I had an endurance even higher than a divine-ranked being, of course, all I felt was a slight sting while his hand was crushed.

However, the rest managed to create distance from me thanks to that. Only the heartless guy didn’t but he was too busy screaming in pain and trying to get used to it.

I stopped and turned to them once again. Now the reality had begun to set in. I was too powerful for them to deal with. Of course, if they were prepared, they could but they weren’t.

The weaker two were about to run away when Spiky shouted, "Don’t! We’re weaker if we split up!"

He did have a good head on his shoulder. Too bad that head was also too messed up to take any advantage of it.

It was better for these guys to die. But he was right, though. My plan was to scare them off and split them up so I could have fun tearing them apart one by one.

However, if they thought that I wanted to split them because I couldn’t take them on together, then they were dead wrong.
