I looked at Sera, unharmed and completely fine as if what happened earlier was nothing but a dream and no one remembers a dream. She didn’t either. I turned to Eric to find the same outcome. I thought he would be different because he was the favorite of this world but nothing. He was the same as the rest of the residents of this world. Unimportant.
That actually made me sad because there were a few people I cared about in his world too.

I upped my strength to the point that I could and threw the first spear in my right hand straight at the spot where the damage would disperse quickly but evenly, leading to a stronger shockwave, pushing her back by a few steps.

I equipped two more spears and did the same only this time, I added technique to them. I not only spun myself but also the spears to give it drill properties and the pushback this time was far more than before. It was almost a combination of the first two tries.
Without giving her time to breathe, I threw the fourth one at her and this did the job. I calmly stood in my place as she saw that I wasn’t attacking anymore. She prepared to attack when the referee’s voice interrupted her, “Contestant Sera, out of bounds. Winner, contestant Adrian.”
Sera was shocked when she saw she was standing behind the line of the arena bounds. She raised her head to look at me with what I assumed was a mixture of surprise and horror. But there was something else, denial. She wasn’t willing to accept that it was this easy for me to defeat her. To be honest, it was even easier than this but this was the only method that was efficient and didn’t cause any problems like earlier when Eric jumped at me.
