Chapter 291: So, can I have your babies?
’OH. MY. GOSH! He just killed Carlman as if he were a fly! Carlman was already strong before he took the demon’s power. But this guy still killed him with ease. No, it was easier than that. He killed Carlman with no effort at all! T-That’s so hot!’
Karumi started heating up, her face became red, and she could feel that she was now wet.
"You okay?" Kai deliberately rubbed his hand on her cheek to look more attractive. He wasn’t even aware of Karumi’s thought process and wanted to see if he could make her fall in love with him, even though his pheremones and charm would do the heavy lifting.
’OH. MY GOSH. He smells AMAZING!’ She sniffed him some more. ’His scent is so good!’
"Y-Yes, I’m okay. Maybe a bit hurt, though." She chuckled, trying to look cute in his eyes.
"Let me help with that."
A warm wave of energy washed over Karumi’s body, healing her injuries and restoring her to full strength. Her tails also grew back like her mother’s own when Kai healed her.
"T-Thank you! Wow! You were able to restore me to full strength!" She turned around to see her nine tails back to their former glory and even felt stronger than normal.
"You’re a Kitsune, right?"
"Mhmm, that’s right. My mother and I are known as Divine Spirits. Our kind are the rulers of the spirit world. Some spirits in the different spirit realms go by another name, Spirit King or Queen."
"I see." Kai ran toward her back and grabbed her tail.
"EEK! W-What are you doing?!"
"Sorry, but I really wanted to feel your tails. Mmmm, so soft! They feel like pillows!" Kai was actually acting this way. Back on earth, he loved it when his cats would sleep with him, and sometimes he would lie on them. Not for long periods of time, though.
Thankfully, he had nice cats and not crazy ones.
Although foxes were closer to dogs, their cuteness reminded Kai of his cats. Besides, foxes were cute overall.
’He’s strong, loving, has a nice smell, can heal, and is handsome? He’s husband material!’
"Okay, thank you for letting me rub your tails." He was a bit reluctant to let them go, but he still did so. He understood the concept of boundaries...sometimes.
’I could just hypnotize her, but for some reason, I would feel bad if I did. It’s okay, I’ll try to make her mine without using my hypnosis. I’m sure I can do that.’
"U-Um, excuse me, may I ask what your name is?"
"Oh, right. I’m Kai, a hero, and I’m kind of trapped here until we are able to get the spirit world back under your mother’s control. She’s currently fighting the demon lord. Also, she has the spirit orbs in her possession, fully cleansed as well. No idea how much it will help, though."
There was so much going on in what Kai said that Karumi didn’t even know where to begin to ask questions. Kai being a hero was not something she expected, but that made her want him even more.
’Fuck he’s so much hotter!’ She said while biting her lips.
"Before we leave, let’s get the rest of these people out of here." Karumi rushed over to the other cells to free the prisoners who were also spirits, but Kai snapped his fingers, and the cells not only opened, but all of the spirits were healed as well.
Kai had a smirk on his face when Karumi turned around to see if he was the one who did that.
"Let’s get back up to the surface. I’m sure all of you are eager to join the battle."
’Yup, I’m having his babies.’
---
The room where Kurami and the Demon Lord engaged in battle was completely destroyed. Windows were blown out, walls were destroyed, the roof was gone, and the room wasn’t nearly as beautiful as it had been previously.
The two of them were nowhere to be seen; the only thing left in the room was the remains of their battle.
If someone looked up into the sky, they would notice that the black clouds were moving irregularly, sometimes being blown away completely. If they had a telescope, they would have seen Kurami and the Demon Lord having an intense battle in the sky.
"That’s it, Kurami, this is the battle I yearned for!" The demon lord punched Kurami in the face, then spin-kicked her away. Black energy pulsed in her hand, and she threw a black chain toward her that wrapped around the spirit’s neck, pulling Kurami back to the demon lord, where she then created a scythe and cut open Karumi’s chest.
However, as the demon lord sliced Kurami’s chest, Kurami palm-striked her at the same time, forcefully spreading her energy through the demon’s body, where it not only broke some bones but also ruptured some organs.
"Blegh!!"
"Arghh!"
Both of them expierenced painful injuries, but the demon lord smirked as if she was loving every second of it.
"More!" She screamed, rushing toward the fox
"I’m killing you today, Carleen, and I’m reclaiming MY WORLD!" The energy around Kurami’s body increased drastically. All nine of her tails arched over he head, and the tips of them formed balls of energy, blasting nine powerful beams of spirit energy at Carleen.
"We’ll see about that!" Carleen waved hand-signs, and a massive black magic circle appeared behind her. The circle cracked, shattered, and the head of a demonic beast tore through the circle.
"Eat, my child!"
The beast devoured the beams as if they were its dinner, then belched a huge torrent of acid toward Kurami.
"Fuck!" Kurami flew away, firing three orbs of spirit energy that turned into a barrier that prevented the acid from traveling further than it already did.
"Oh, no! Get back here!" Carleen was not about to let Kurami go and flew right through the barrier, shattering it.
"Die, you filthy demon!" Kurami used her trump card, aiming to end the fight now that she could feel she had weakened Carleen enough.
She activated the spell by weaving hand signs, and a massive avatar of a Kitsune appeared around her. "Fox Spirit Secret art: Tailed Beast Blast!"
The Kitsune avatar fired a beam from its mouth that was so large that it completely illuminated the entire spirit world from its perpetual darkness.
"I love seeing that look on your face, Kurami! Keep it when you’re dead!" Carleen summoned every ounce of power she had, spun around so fast that she appeared like a giant bullet, then collided with beam.
