This was understandable, since if not using system upgrades, from a normal person’s perspective, wanting to undertake a large-scale renovation of an already built underground shelter indeed involves significant construction, which Mo Qingyan saw as unnecessary.
Chen Xin did not refute, just nodded slightly, but still asked them, "About the construction issues, I’ll handle them. Without considering construction problems, do you think there are any areas in the shelter that could be improved?"
Upon hearing Chen Xin’s question, Qin Lan and Mo Qingyan exchanged a look, not understanding why Chen Xin wanted to modify the seemingly comfortable shelter, but they didn’t strongly oppose Chen Xin either, as just drafting a design and posing ideas was harmless.

As the chicks were gradually growing, the space was clearly becoming cramped.
If Chen Xin didn’t want to cage them, like poultry farms where chickens are confined from chick to slaughter, then creating a larger area as a feeding ground was necessary.
Therefore, after Mo Qingyan’s suggestion, Chen Xin also extended a space next to the original growing greenhouse to serve as a poultry farm.
Chen Xin also adjusted the structure and position of the growing greenhouse and the shelter’s overall floor height, exposing the top of the growing greenhouse above ground.

Qin Lan’s question was valid because if Chen Xin really did this, the modifications to the shelter would be substantial.
Chen Xin simply nodded and added some more elements to the blueprint before answering, "The state will cover this renovation, so I might as well add back some designs I abandoned before due to various reasons."
