Chapter 400: Chapter 400: Stop the Wedding
After a long silence following her words, she slowly turned her face towards her. Summer Sutton really wanted to slap her, "I’ve seen shameless, but never as shameless as you! Second Young Miss Sutton really has taken shamelessness to the extreme! Pregnant with who knows whose child, are you now trying to make the Walyon Family take full responsibility?"
Gina Sutton had been very calm when meeting her today, but upon hearing those words, the hatred in her chest was once again stirred up.
Pregnant with who knows whose child?
That glass of wine back then, did she sense something wrong and intentionally let the waiter make herself drink it?
Unexpectedly, that very glass of wine ended up back in her hands. This matter surely cannot be unrelated to her.
The events of that night are the scars in Gina’s heart that she least wishes to have exposed. Countless nights of recalling them, she couldn’t even fall asleep.
Grabbing her wrist, Gina’s anger suddenly surged, "Summer Sutton, everything I’ve been through is all because of you! I’m telling you, as long as I’m around, you won’t have a good time in this life! Every bit of pain I’ve suffered, I will return to you in full! Now even Adrian Walyon is no longer in the Walyon Family, you don’t even have the capital to fight me! Just you wait!"
Since childhood, she seemed to have never changed, all her efforts aimed at trampling Summer Sutton underfoot.
When it comes down to it, it’s still envy at play.
As a child, she was jealous that Summer had Father Sutton and grandpa’s affection, almost every good thing was Summer’s, wanting to replace her and become the princess of the Sutton Family herself.
Growing up, she again was envious that Summer could marry into the Walyon Family, could meet a man like Adrian Walyon, while she had nothing.
From her, Summer first saw how terrifying a woman’s envy can be.
In Summer’s view, Gina’s psychology had reached a pathological state.
Raising her face, quietly watching her for a while, Summer suddenly smiled sarcastically.
"Sometimes, I actually pity you. What you pursue is never yours. After trying everything, in the end, it’s all for naught, you’re really pitiful!"
With one last comment, Summer turned and walked towards the place where she waits for a ride.
Gina’s threats, she was not afraid of.
Summer Sutton had never been afraid of her since they were children.
She had said she wouldn’t let Gina stay in the Walyon Family for too long!
Compared to what Gina wanted to reclaim from Summer, Summer wanted to claim even more from her!
Gina stood rigidly in place, pinching the flesh of her palm again and again...
On the way back, sitting on the bus, Gina’s words repeatedly echoed in Summer’s ears.
She and Ryan Walyon are about to get married...
This actually has nothing to do with Summer, but everything Gina has now was obtained by framing her, Summer cannot let her succeed!
No matter what, the wedding must not go smoothly.
But, how to stop it?
Summer thought about it over and over, and felt that to prevent Gina from entering the Walyon Family, only by exposing her secret and letting everyone know her true face could she succeed, while also proving her own innocence.
And what she could think of now was only to start investigating from the man who called Gina those nights.
But, how could she find out who he is?
Summer was so lost in thought that she didn’t even hear the bus announcing stops.
She had missed several stops, and it wasn’t until the bus had reached the seaside that she belatedly realized.
