Chapter 1471 - 1520: Deadly Counterkill

Chapter 1471: Chapter 1520: Deadly Counterkill

To Li Yifei’s surprise, the windshield of the opponent’s car was bulletproof. The large-caliber handgun had considerable power, but against bulletproof glass, the bullets were ineffective, only leaving shallow marks on it.

The people in the lead car laughed sinisterly and shouted at Li Yifei, "Haha, shoot, shoot again."

Shouting, these bullets came over, directly shattering the glass behind, forcing Li Yifei to duck his head.

Worried that Meng Xiaofei might get hit by stray bullets, Li Yifei hurriedly shouted, "Be careful to dodge."

After shouting, Li Yifei fired another shot, another bullet went out.

This time, Li Yifei didn’t aim at the opponent’s driver but shot at their tire.

With a bang, the bullet entered the opponent’s tire, causing a loud noise, directly blasting the tire, and the car instantly went out of control.

On the uneven grassy terrain, already bumpy, the opponent’s front tire suddenly burst, the car immediately became unstable, the driver didn’t react in time; the car jerked, and the side with the blown tire crashed into a large rock, flipping the car over, rolling five or six times before coming to a halt.

The three cars behind quickly swerved to avoid, preventing a secondary collision.

Motoharu cursed angrily, "Swine, they’re all a bunch of swine!"

Li Yifei breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily, the tires weren’t bulletproof, at least relieving some pressure; the overturned car couldn’t catch up, and those inside were severely injured, struggling to crawl out.

Li Yifei raised the gun and fired two more shots, hitting another tire of the remaining three cars.

The opponents were cautious, seeing Li Yifei extend the gun, they immediately began to slow down to try to create some distance.

But doing so was of no use to Li Yifei; the bullets still accurately hit the front tire, blowing it out, rendering the car useless.

If Li Yifei had a machine gun with more bullets today, he wouldn’t have been so cautious in shooting; but he had only three bullets left, once exhausted, he and Meng Xiaofei and Sophia would become sitting ducks.

Taking out two of the pursuing cars scared the people behind quite a bit.

Li Yifei’s marksmanship was extraordinarily accurate; in such bumpy conditions, not only Li Yifei’s car but the ones behind were also bouncing, yet Li Yifei calculated the trajectory with precision, where even a slight deviation would hit the dirt or some other part of the car. The only vulnerable spot was the tires, which weren’t bulletproof, giving Li Yifei an advantage.

The second car fared slightly better; realizing the tire burst, the driver desperately controlled the steering wheel, causing the car to roll just once, with the occupants relatively unscathed, unlike the first car.

From originally eight cars in pursuit, only two remained, striking a blow to the Yamaguchi Group’s morale.

Li Yifei had three bullets left, and as he extended the gun for another aim, the remaining cars had smartened up, starting to dodge, the cars constantly bouncing and swaying, making it hard for Li Yifei to aim.

The bouncing was uncomfortable for Sophia, already heavily injured, struggling with pain. As the bumps caused her wounds to bleed again, Li Yifei shielded her with his body to prevent severe jolts.

"Brother Li, there’s a road ahead!" Meng Xiaofei suddenly shouted.

Li Yifei quickly turned his head for a glance; ahead was a rural road, not wide but smooth, leading into a valley.

Li Yifei hurriedly instructed Meng Xiaofei, "Take the turn slow, I’ll get off!"

"How can that be, Brother Li, don’t take risks, I can drive us to safety!" Meng Xiaofei protested anxiously.

"Listen to me! I’ll be fine. Your Brother Li is a war god!" Li Yifei added, "With two cars still in pursuit, I have to figure out a way to take them out. If there’s a path ahead, drive on, don’t worry about me, get Sophia to the hospital."

Li Yifei thought for a moment and said, "There’s my phone by the co-driver’s seat, once you’re safe, find Koboto Kobayashi’s number and have him bring reinforcements, and call Aoki Reiko for support."

Saying this, the car was about to turn onto the small road, which was also a bend; Li Yifei gritted his teeth, took a deep breath, opened the car door, and immediately jumped out after completing the turn, remembering to shut the door while in mid-air.

Due to obstructions, the two cars behind couldn’t see Li Yifei exiting.

Motoharu saw Li Yifei’s car turn a corner and urged, "Quick, follow him, speed up!"

He didn’t have time to worry about his men in the two overturned cars. He had only one thought: under no circumstances could he let Li Yifei escape today. If Li Yifei made a comeback, it would be his end. Today, he had to fight desperately.

Two cars approached one after another. Just as they turned the corner, Motoharu’s car overtook them. Lowering the window, several guns stretched out, just about to shoot ahead when a black figure suddenly jumped from a few meters high, landing on the car behind.

The people inside the car were startled, initially thinking it was a falling rock. Motoharu whipped his head around, his heart leaping into his throat: this wasn’t a rock, it was that freak Li Yifei.

Motoharu shouted into his earpiece, "Quick, shoot, it’s the Golden Eagle on top!"

The people in the car behind were immediately scared witless. Had the Li Yifei they had been hunting all day just descended upon their car from the sky?

Trying to shoot quickly, but the roof was bulletproof, a bunch of scorching bullets and shells ended up just scorching them.

"Idiot, shake him off quickly!" Motoharu turned over, reaching out to shoot at Li Yifei, but the car he was in made a sharp turn, nearly throwing him out.

Tumbling back in, Motoharu cursed angrily. As he got up again, he witnessed a scene he would never forget.

Li Yifei leaped onto the car roof like a monkey, grabbing onto the roof rail. Once he steadied himself somewhat, Li Yifei crouched as if he were not on a car roof but on flat ground. Suddenly, he flew off the car, grabbing the railing with one hand, looking as if he might fall off.

But in the next second, Li Yifei’s body twisted bizarrely, performing a Thomas Flair in mid-air, heading for the left rear window of the car. The window, previously lowered for shooting, now offered Li Yifei an opportunity.

Li Yifei’s body was severely injured, with serious internal injuries, yet at this moment, he seemed to have no problems. As soon as his feet kicked in, three of Li Yifei’s bullets poured out, bang bang bang.

The two people in the back seat were immediately shot, both taking bullets to the head, dying without even managing any defensive actions.

Li Yifei had already leaped to the back seat. The co-driver hurriedly raised his gun to shoot, only to see Li Yifei reach out from behind, snatch the submachine gun from his hand, and give a strong push.

The person in the co-driver’s seat was immediately struck in the face by the submachine gun’s stock, his face numbing. The next second, Li Yifei’s hand had already darted past the submachine gun, clasping his neck and squeezing hard, causing the opponent’s head to tilt, his body going limp.

The most terrified was the driver. With all that was happening in the back, he was worried and afraid, yet dared not look back. The car just rounded a corner, but there were more bends ahead. Not driving carefully would mean crashing into the rock wall.

So he remained in intense fear until death.

Li Yifei gave him a bullet, ending his life, leaped to the front seat, opened the driver’s door, and kicked him out. Li Yifei was now seated in the driver’s position.

From leaping onto the roof to swiftly killing four people and taking control of the car, it all happened in less than half a minute, showcasing just how terrifying Li Yifei had become.

Motoharu’s mouth gaped wide, and as the car bumped, he bit his tongue, his face contorting in pain.

He frantically slapped the front seat, shouting, "Quick, U-turn, he took the car behind, hurry, he’s coming up!"

Li Yifei pressed the accelerator, and the well-equipped SUV roared as it charged toward Motoharu’s car. Seconds later, it rammed into them.

When Li Yifei crashed, he used a small technique—not hitting the back of the other car directly but slightly turning the steering wheel at the moment of impact, possibly causing the car in front to lose control under the collision force and change direction.

However, doing this left Li Yifei in quite a bad state too, his knees and chest aching from the collision.

This was a narrow road with only a two-way lane, allowing two cars to pass, with stone walls dug out on both sides. Motoharu’s car, bumped by Li Yifei, nearly lost control and crashed into the rock wall beside it.

The driver struggled desperately to regain control of the car, barely getting back on track. The car speed had slowed significantly, making it impossible to catch up with the speeding vehicle in front in a short time. Moreover, everyone inside felt that today might be their end, as the Li Yifei behind was too reckless, too insane.

After the furious collision, Li Yifei wiped the blood off his forehead, not having cared about himself at that moment of impact, his forehead also burst open.

Motoharu, looking at the blood-soaked Li Yifei, was already terrified to the extreme. He fired frantically at the back, but the high-quality bulletproof glass couldn’t be penetrated in a short time. As a burst of bullets flew by, half missing, the few that hit didn’t manage to shatter the glass.

Li Yifei charged up again, this time stepping hard on the accelerator, driving his car to the side of Motoharu’s vehicle, turning the steering wheel forcefully, blocking Motoharu’s car, compelling its speed to drop again and causing it to veer toward the roadside stone wall.
