Chapter 442 Three Designers

The meeting room was quiet. Jin Ying, Song Xi, and Zhai Yixuan sat in a row, with the other three opposite them.

They looked at each other, and after a moment, someone opened the door and entered.

The first to enter was a stern-faced, middle-aged man in his forties, wearing glasses.

It was Yu Sen, the most authoritative designer in the industry, known for being difficult to get along with.

Everyone politely stood up.

Two more designers followed, one with wavy hair and fiery red lips, and the other amiable, with a small mustache on his chin.

The female designer was Shi Xiangxue, who had previously worked at major international AAAA advertising companies and was now a highly sought-after figure in the industry.

The other was Huang Maoshi, who had collaborated with many major brands. Teacher Huang was the youngest of the three, but looked older, and had a very good temper. Working under him would make the show incredibly relaxed.

Everyone had their own thoughts. The designers also glanced at the six people present.

Shi Xiangxue spoke first, her gaze fixed on Wen Junying. "From now on, I want you to cast aside your identities as celebrities. You are now ordinary interns. We will give you a task shortly, and based on the proposals you write, you will choose the students you want. The deadline is twenty-four hours."

"Twenty-four hours!?" Jin Ying exclaimed softly. How could this be enough time!

Yu Sen heard her and shot her a reproachful glance. That single glance was enough to scare Jin Ying into silence.

After Shi Xiangxue distributed the client information, everyone merely glanced at it before closing it. Only Song Xi, though she had only skimmed it, read it from beginning to end.

Seeing this, Yu Sen raised an eyebrow, and Huang Maoshi also cast an interested look at Song Xi.

After the meeting, the interns returned to their respective stations, leaving the three teachers to chat.

Huang Maoshi said, "Can they finish this in twenty-four hours? They're all outsiders. Won't this be too difficult for them?"

"Difficult?" Yu Sen scoffed unceremoniously. "This industry isn't something just any celebrity putting on a show can afford to dabble in."

At his words, Shi Xiangxue and Huang Maoshi's expressions changed.

After Yu Sen left, Huang Maoshi grumbled, "This Teacher Yu's temper really hasn't changed. We're filming a show now. If what he just said is broadcast, he'll definitely be attacked by netizens."

"He doesn't care about that," Shi Xiangxue said, but after a moment, she approached the director and asked him to cut that remark. The director agreed.

Twenty-four hours was indeed a short time. Jin Ying was confused. She looked at Gao Yuan, then at Mi Xuan, and finally her gaze fell on Song Xi.

"Do you have any ideas?"

Song Xi shook her head.

Wen Junying glanced at the time and said, "It's almost lunchtime. Let's go to the cafeteria together."

Song Xi had no appetite, not only because of the difficulty of the assignment, but also because of Lou Yuming.

A whole day had passed, and he hadn't texted her or contacted her.

She really couldn't understand what was going on in his mind.

"Song Xi? What are you thinking about? Let's go." Jin Ying got up again to call Zhai Yixuan, but was politely refused.

"I'm not eating lunch today." She raised her head again, said a stilted "thank you," and then lowered her head to study the materials in her hands.

Jin Ying was dumbfounded.

This little sister was truly... unsociable.

Jin Ying didn't press further and turned to ask Mi Xuan, "Are you eating?"

Mi Xuan secretly glanced at Song Xi. Seeing that she had no expression, she nodded.

New Energy was a top giant in the advertising industry. In addition to excellent resources, employee benefits were at the ceiling level across all departments.

"I heard the chefs in the New Energy cafeteria are amazing, especially the stir-fried yellow beef! Let's go get some!"

Jin Ying, without further ado, dragged Song Xi to get food.

Wasn't she supposed to have a naive and sweet persona? Why had she suddenly turned into a foodie!

Mi Xuan stood silently behind them, her eyes dim.

Gao Yuan walked over proactively and said in a small voice, "Teacher Mi Xuan, did you forget your meal card? I have mine."

Mi Xuan forced a smile and waved her hand. "Just call me Mi Xuan. I have my card, thank you."

Gao Yuan scratched his head awkwardly.

Wen Junying smiled. "A man shouldn't be so hesitant. Are you like this when you're filming?"

"No..."

Wen Junying shook his head. He seemed to remember something and walked towards Song Xi.

"Oh right, Song Xi, you mentioned this morning you wanted to hear 'The Phantom of the Opera'..."
