Chapter 333 - 332 You Like Edward Stephens

Chapter 333: Chapter 332 You Like Edward Stephens

His cold lips fell on her warm neck, and Daisy Ginger suddenly opened her eyes, seeing the man’s eyes in the darkness that were much brighter than during the day.

It’s only at such times that his deep eyes shine astonishingly.

She felt somewhat disdainful.

"Go take a shower yourself."

Edward Stephens hugged her, rubbing against her neck, "I already did. It didn’t help."

He was cold, indeed, he had taken a cold shower.

Where was this anger coming from, did this guy take some drug?

Perhaps her disgust was too obvious, and while he was unbuttoning her pajamas, he couldn’t help but laugh.

"You clearly like it too... you can’t fool me."

Daisy’s face flushed red, very conspicuous even in the dim light and shadow.

A bit furious and ashamed, she pushed him away, trying to get out of the covers.

The man chuckled softly as he pulled her back, coaxing her, "Just once, okay? Daisy, don’t refuse me..."

His tender, low voice wrapped her into a whirlpool.

Drifting and sinking, when she woke up, it was already the next morning.

Turning to the side, the man by her side was already gone.

She had no clothes on, but she felt very clean, probably because she was taken to bathe while she was asleep.

Daisy lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

In just a few hours, she was going to leave.

To come back or not depends on Edward’s mood.

She wondered how she ended up living her life in such a miserable state...

She rolled herself in the bedspread, sighing desolately on the bed.

Edward came in, bringing her a cup of hot milk.

"What are you going to wear today?" He opened her closet, going through her clothes, and very much like a straight guy, he chose a pink dress, "How about this? It suits your complexion."

Daisy rolled her eyes, "I’ve never worn that dress since I bought it."

The man turned his head, giving her a glance, "Then why did you buy it?"

With his straightforward mind, he couldn’t comprehend the impulsive shopping sprees women sometimes have.

"None of your business." Daisy sipped the milk which had some honey added, sweet and silky, she drank half of it and then lazily directed Edward to open another wardrobe, "Take out that white undershirt, no, the one with the lace trims! That brown long skirt, yes, the one in your hand!"

It took Edward quite a while to pick out the ones Daisy wanted from the pile of clothes that all seemed quite similar in color and style.

He sat on the edge of the bed, watching her wrapped in the quilt, her fair and slender shoulders and long neck exposed.

There were still marks on her from last night where he had bitten her, scattered stars.

He watched for a moment and couldn’t help lowering his head to bite her shoulder again.

Daisy flinched, "Edward, are you a dog?!"

The man bit her a few times, then rested his chin on her shoulder, raising his hand towards her.

In his hand was a black lace bra.

"Shall I put it on for you?"

Daisy looked at his serious face, nearly swung the milk cup at it, snatched the bra from his hand, and angrily said, "Get lost!"

Could he be any more shameless!

Edward gave her a regretful look, "I never got to put it on for you."

"Shameless." Daisy scolded him.

He was growing thicker skin.

Such an incorrigible person.

Edward was cursed out of the room by Daisy.

Clearly, she used to flirt with him, and now she wouldn’t even let him touch her.

Different treatment.

He sighed.

*

At the airport.

Daisy just got out of the car when she heard a soft female voice.

"Young Master, Miss Ginger."

Charlotte Smith stood at the airport entrance, in a white top and black skirt, her fair and gentle face striking among the bustling crowd.

Daisy had met many people, but had never seen someone as uniquely graceful as Charlotte, like moonlight, cool and gentle like water.

She came over to carry her suitcase, smiling at her and Edward, "The master asked me to pick you up. Have you eaten? Do you want to have something before entering?"

Edward stated plainly, "We’ve eaten." He was very cold to her, holding Daisy’s hand and heading into the airport.

After passing through security, Daisy and Charlotte sat together in the waiting area.

Edward went to a nearby café to buy her a coffee, and Daisy watched Edward’s back, saying to Charlotte, "I heard that your master doesn’t require me and him to divorce anymore?"

Charlotte replied, "I’m not very clear. Perhaps the Young Master talked with him."

Daisy turned her head to look at Charlotte, suddenly smiling at her.

"You like Edward, don’t you?"

"..." Charlotte sat there, her expression unchanged, but her pupils slightly contracted.

Daisy leaned back coldly against the seat, "Stop pretending. You like him; I can see it."

It’s not like she had never liked someone, those eyes of someone in love can’t be hidden.

Even though she was proper and her eyes didn’t wander, looking dutiful.

But when her gaze landed on Edward, that warmth was different from how she looked at others.

Charlotte’s expression changed several times, then she lowered her head gently, "I’m sorry, Miss Ginger."

Daisy: "Nothing to apologize for. It doesn’t bother me."

Charlotte: "Do you really have no feelings for the Young Master? He for you..."

Daisy interrupted her, "In your Stephens family circle, I’m just an outsider. I don’t really know you all, isn’t it ridiculous to talk to me about feelings?"

Her words were quite aloof.

Charlotte raised her head, unable to resist glancing at Daisy, only to see her looking forward, her black pupils showing nothing but indifference and coldness.

She truly didn’t care for Edward.

Even though Edward had grown fond of her and had given up so much for her.

"...The Young Master, from a young age, has never liked anyone so much." Charlotte said lowly, "For you... he took the initiative to call the master. Miss Ginger, the Young Master really is a good person, please don’t disappoint his affection."

Daisy’s delicate brows raised slightly, looking at Charlotte with some surprise.

"Are you asking me to like him too?"

"Yes." Charlotte responded, "If it’s you, you could definitely make the Young Master happy."

"Then what about you, if he’s with me?" Daisy looked at her amusingly, "Don’t you have other thoughts about him? You are the one who grew up with him, while I’m just an outsider. Honestly, given the nasty things he’s done to me, I might even be justified in stabbing him, yet you’d trust a woman like me to be with him, really?"
