Chapter 103: Duke’s Attack

Chapter 103: 103: Duke’s Attack

Eden heard noises from the bushes. And then he knew that someone was actually coming.

He cut the kiss, leaving Felix’s cheeks flushed and his eyes closed.

Eden turned to look at the horses that were now approaching. And it didn’t take time for him to recognise the person behind these horses.

The Grand duke of Enor. Leo was on his horse, approaching.

"It took longer than expected. But I finally found you" Leo said as soon as he pulled closer on his horse. "You thought you escaped me, right?"

Felix was standing behind Eden, also looking up at Leo who was in the company of his guards.

Leo looked at Felix and looked back at Felix "I guess you picked some new friends while you were on the run. Well too bad, I guess the two of you will have to die here anyways"

Leo pulled out his sword, his expression cold.

He didn’t seem to have much time for Chit-chatting. He probably was here to end Eden and get it done with.

But Eden also wasn’t willing to die.

With his sword now in his hands, he attacked on his horse. Leo was making his way towards Eden on his horse and with a sword

But Eden stood there, staring, calculating and checking the perfect time to strike.

And when Leo was closer. Eden muttered some commands to himself while snapping his fingers right in front of Leo who was still approaching.

His horse disappeared into purple dust and Leo found himself falling to the ground.

Felix blinked.

The guards behind paused.

Leo was now on the floor, picking himself up almost immediately.

He was now standing, glaring at Eden. He scoffed "You think some little petty magic will stop me? Well, think again!"

He attacked with his sword, as Eden raised his hands. Leo found himself also floating.

Eden’s arms had a control over Leo’s body now. And as he moved his hands in the air, Leo was also floating in the air in the rhythm of Eden’s hand. Moving from side to side while kicking to be set free.

"Let go of me..." he muttered. But Eden still held him up in the sky. Taking him for a ride through the air.

"You should also leave me alone. Don’t you think I’m tired of you chasing me around all the time and wanting to kill me? Take a break at least" Eden said.

But Leo didn’t speak back, he was still struggling to be set free in the air. Kicking the air while struggling to throw himself down.

But he couldn’t break free from Eden’s control.

"Attack that bastard now!" Felix instructed his guards. And they all attacked.

On their horses, all raised their swords while marching towards Eden.

But Eden took out his other hands. He held Leo in the air with a hand, and the other hand he casually brushed through the air.

Immediately, a heavy purple wind blew the guards off with their horse. All flying backwards and crashing to the ground.

That was all it took Eden to take them all down. And he was even impressed at himself "I guess the wizard of EL is really powerful..." He figured.

The guards were on the floor and Leo was still stuck in the air, kicking.

The guards got up and marched to attack Eden on their feet.

"Y’all never learn, do you?" Eden mumbled as he now used both hands.

All magic he was using were mostly ones he came up with in his head.

The author didn’t give much detail to the Wizard’s magic usage or a manual for it. It was basically the wizard doing some ransom stuff while giving vocal commands in his mind and then the magic happened.

And that was exactly what Eden was doing.

He brought both hands together, Leo automatically falling to the ground. Eden now cooked up some trick and served it to them.

The guards and Leo flew to the air again, but this time, they found themselves spinning in the air. And like a merry-go-round, they spun in the air for awhile.

Felix stood there watching them spin, his eyes going round and round while he wondered how they would survive that.

Eden did it for some time. Moving his hands in the air while taking them all in a spin in the air.

They were probably dizzy in the air already. Muttering words while some already screaming to be set free.

They all seemed to be in terrible states in the air while spinning.

Eden kept it on until he was bored. And then waved then off.

They all hit their back against a tree and fell down their faces.

They were dizzy and also in pain. No one was getting up to their feet anytime soon.

"Are they dead?" Felix asked while observing them with Eden.

"Of course no" Eden said "They’re just tired"

It took a minute before Leo slowly got up to his feet. He staggered as he stared at Eden.

"Do you still want more? I have more magic to practice with you if you’re willing" Eden smiled.

Leo said nothing for awhile, he stood there while he got himself back.

"Next time, it won’t be this easy for you" That was all he had to say as he mounted on surviving horse there and drove off.

His guards who had managed to get up on their feet ran after Leo, immediately.

Eden and Felix were there, alone again.

"I knew there would be an ambush" Eden said "My intuition has gotten shaper" He figured it was possibly because of the powers he could access partially.

"What’s the point of giving me some powers when I didn’t do anything with it?" Felix stood there behind him.

Eden looked back at him with a smile "Don’t worry. There’ll be more opportunities for you to practice" He told him.

"But for now.." Eden said "I have to find someone before I meet another ambush"

Eden didn’t wait for Felix. He took off, walking through the woods as Felix followed behind.

"Since I’m going to be coming to the palace to meet you for practice, we need to have a plan or something" Felix suggested as they walked through the pathways of the forest.

"Like how we’re going to meet, when and stuff like that"
