Chapter 155: A Outing

Chapter 155: 155: A Outing

"A romantic outing?" Lysander certainly didn’t see that proposal coming.

Eden nodded. "Yeah. That. Is something wrong?"

"Well..." Lysander looked around. "It’s just that... it was just random."

"Oh. Is that so?" Eden folded his arms. "Well. In that case, since you know now, it shouldn’t be random. Let’s get out."

Lysander was still hesitant. "But... why are we suddenly going out...? I mean..."

"Because we already had sex." Eden was plain with his words, and Lysander couldn’t help but stare at him, shocked.

His cheeks flushed. "Huh?"

Eden nodded. "I mean yes... We did it last night. Don’t you remember?"

Lysander ran a hand through his hair, awkward. "That... we did, but..."

"You were really active last night." Eden ran a hand through his chin. "I mean, I was surprised that it was your first time."

Lysander’s face reddened as he ran a hand through his hair. "That..."

"But then again, I guess you’re good at it, I guess." Eden stared at him. "But that’s by the way. What matters is I need your help with that."

"With what? Going out on a romantic outing?" Lysander inquired, calming himself.

"Sorta." Eden nodded.

"But... only lovers go out on such..." Lysander wanted to say.

"Aren’t we that yet? I mean, we did all that..." Eden hesitated. "But I guess you want to forget about it, so..."

"No!" Lysander said, almost abruptly. "I haven’t forgotten..."

They stared at each other for a while as Eden smiled. "Is that so? Then help me."

Eden figured it’d be a bit harsh tricking the kid, so he decided to be rather honest. "Although it’s not completely a romantic outing... but I need your help with leaving the palace."

Lysander was confused. "Leaving the palace? Why? Is something wrong...?"

"Nothing."

"Then why do you want to leave? Is someone trying to harm you...? I can protect you if that’s the case..."

"No." Eden laughed. "I’m not leaving completely though. I just want to go and do something. But I feel the guards won’t let me out. So I needed someone to help me. Someone like you."

He smiled at Lysander, who slowly nodded. "Oh. Okay then..."

Lysander turned around, heading for his wardrobe. "Then I guess we should get ready to go... I’ll get ready..."

He paused as he turned, staring at Eden. "About last night..."

Eden had his legs folded as he looked up at Lysander. "Last night? What about it...?"

"That... I wanted to ask... if..." Lysander bit his lower lip.

"What about it?"

"I want to ask what we are after last night..." Lysander inquired.

Eden found him cute.

"Whatever you call it." Eden shrugged.

"Oh." Lysander nodded, a smile slowly curling up the corner of his lips. "Okay then..."

He continued picking out clothes.

---

Lysander was soon ready, and he left with Eden, who was waiting for him.

As the two of them headed out of the palace, they met two guards who stopped them at the exit.

"What’s it?" Lysander had a cold yet calm expression as he stared at them. "Why are you stopping me from leaving?"

"Apologies. But we aren’t stopping you from leaving. Rather, we’re stopping him from leaving," the guard said, pointing at Eden.

Eden blinked.

"Why are you stopping him from leaving? He’s not a prisoner here that he can’t leave at will. Is he?" Lysander questioned.

"Apologies. But we’re only acting on instructions. And we were instructed by the Crown Prince not to let him out," the other guard explained.

"My brother? Why?" Lysander was confused.

"We don’t know why. We’re only acting on instructions. So you could leave, but we can’t let him off," they explained.

"How dare you." Eden folded his arms. "Do I look like I’m off to some joke to someone? Can’t you see that I’m leaving with the prince?"

"Exactly." Lysander added. "We’re off to something important, so how dare you think you can stop me at will?"

"I’m sorry, but—"

"No buts," Lysander interrupted. "If my brother asks, I’ll answer to him. But I want to take him out for something important. And you won’t be stopping us. Understood?" he questioned.

The guards stared at each other for a while. They didn’t think they could protest against the prince even if they wanted to.

"Or do you want to go against the prince’s will?" Lysander questioned them.

"No. We don’t dare do that." One shook his head.

"Then make way. We won’t take too long. So don’t worry about being implicated at all. I’ll speak to my brother about it," he explained.

"Okay, Your Highness." And so the guards made way for them.

Eden smiled as he watched the gates open for them. And so they were able to leave through the exit.

---

Lysander and Eden were on the same horse while they headed out of the palace’s gate.

Eden had informed Lysander that they’d part ways as soon as they left the palace, and he reluctantly agreed.

As soon as they arrived outside the palace gates, they caught sight of another horse approaching.

Felix was waiting for their arrival.

Felix stared at them from his side, his eyes narrowing at the two of them who were on the same horse.

Eden got down from the horse.

"Thanks a lot. I’ll be sure to pay you back for your help when I return." Eden smiled at Lysander, who was still on the horse.

Lysander smiled back at Eden. "Don’t mention it at all. It’s my honour to help."

Lysander stared at Felix, who was staring at them from his horse.

"And what’s he doing here?" Lysander questioned.

"I should be asking you that. What are you doing here?" Felix questioned, his horse now standing close to them.

"Well, I’m leaving with him. It’s for something really urgent. So you don’t have to worry." Eden could tell they were getting jealous already.

To him, it was like having to handle two jealous kids who couldn’t stand the other being close to him.
