Chapter 178: Dimension within

Chapter 178: 178: Dimension within

The guards attacked in groups. The first group marched toward Eden with their arms.

Eden was still on Lenny, his spell growing while the purple circle was still growing brighter around them. Soon it opened a sort of portal around them—

a purple portal.

Eden was lost in the strange feeling that ran through him, some magical feelings that threw him into an abyss. All he could see was himself floating in a purple portal.

And as the guards pulled closer, the portal that was around Eden and Lenny began absorbing things.

It grew huge and wide while it swallowed the first group of guards completely. Soon they were nowhere to be seen.

Eden was still lost in his mysterious powers that had taken over him, his eyes purple and his soul still floating in some strange abyssal portal, while his physical body stayed there.

"That’s..." Damien grew scared of the scene—the sight of Eden’s eyes glowing purple along with the white mystical fox beneath him.

It seemed like a scary sight, a sacred sight of a white fox with purple eyes and a purple line on its forehead, sitting there with a purple portal around it. And then a man sitting on this fox, merging its powers with it.

"Do you think we should continue...?" Damien asked.

Leo stared, also aware of the sight before him. But he didn’t wish to lose Eden today. "Make an indirect attack. Take down the wizard first," he ordered nevertheless.

"Yes!" the second group of soldiers chorused while they sought another means of attacking and striking down Eden first.

They positioned themselves at a spot, keeping a distance from the portal they were aware could swallow them up. They set their spears, bows, and arrows and made their attacks.

They shot them off in the air and toward the direction of Eden and his fox. The arrows and spears approached Eden, and immediately the purple portal sparked.

It grew, and a wave flushed from it. The magnet from the portal wave caught the arms and hooked them in the air.

The guards stared in shock as the arms began vibrating. Purple energy roamed through the arms as they began turning.

"What’s that...?" one of the guards said in shock.

"Is it...?"

"It’s coming back!"

They were in a frenzy. The soldiers began panicking while they drew back.

The arms in the air all turned toward the guards. And they began flying down to the guards, all covered in purple light.

The spears and arrows attacked the soldiers, who began running for their dear lives. But they weren’t faster than the arms.

The arms met them and struck most of them all down. They fell and instantly died.

The scene was now getting bloody, and Leo stared at Eden with in-depth attention.

"We should stop before he takes down the whole mansion and people in here..." Damien said. He was worried while staring at the impending danger.

Leo still looked calm. "It seems he’s finally going all out with his wizard power..." he said.

The soldiers were now stepping backward in fear after seeing the deaths of the others. Magic was involved, and it hit them now that they didn’t stand a chance at all.

And while they pulled backward, someone suddenly took to the air.

Out of nowhere, Felix flew off his horse and skyrocketed into the air, his staff in his hands.

"Don’t worry, master! I’m here to save you!" he said as he raised his staff. Blue rays of light filled the atmosphere.

He waved his staff down and sent an earthquake that pushed the guards further away from Eden.

Felix now landed on the ground, standing in front of the fox and Eden. He stared at the soldiers with his staff poised for an attack.

His eyes met Leo, who still had both hands behind him.

"Do you think a sidekick like you can do anything?" Leo questioned.

"Well, I guess you’ll just get to try," Felix said, confident, his blue staff up and ready to strike.

While Eden sat on the fox, his eyes were still purple. His body was still there, but his soul wasn’t.

It was Eden’s first time diving deep into his powers—his first time triggering his powers spiritually to protect himself. And him going deep into his power had sent him into another dimension within himself.

A dimension where he now slowly opened his eyes. The sight of purple waves flowing around him met his lazy eyes.

He slowly looked around; he was floating in what seemed like a purple abyss covered in waves of purple dusk.

Pretty, yet chaotic.

Confused, he looked around, trying to understand where he was or what was even happening.

The last place he remembered being was in between some soldiers who wanted to take his life—not here.

"Where is this..." he wanted to speak, but words betrayed him. He couldn’t speak. He could only hear those words in his head.

Eden blinked. "What’s happening... why can’t I speak...? Why can I only hear myself in my head...?"

He muttered as he looked around. His breath grew heavy with panic as he tried moving, but he only floated like a balloon on air.

"What’s this..." he tried moving, and immediately images crashed through his hair.

Pain grasped him, pin triggers running through his hair as Eden placed both hands over his head, crying in pain.

"Ah. What’s that... ah..." he cried in pain as he tried shaking his head to release the pain that ran through his head.

But to no avail.

Because now, not only could he feel pins of pain running through his hair, he could also see images.

Familiar scenery images that brushed through his blurry vision. Images and scenes that crashed through his head in pain, setting visions through his eyes that were now red.

"This... What..." With his eyes red, Eden had his hands clenched over his head as he shook his head to brush off the images.

The images and scenes of him and someone he was familiar with.

Images of him and his ex-boyfriend.
