Chapter 181: 181: A Cliff
Felix walked down to the streamside where Eden was kneeling and sat down beside him.
Eden looked at him. "What are you doing?"
"Resting," Felix said, his hands running through the water.
Eden rolled his eyes and continued washing his face with water.
As soon as he was done washing his face, he looked up only to see Felix shirtless.
Felix had pulled off his shirt, his bare body gleaming with the light reflected from the stream, the sweat dripping down his body.
Eden gasped. "What the hell are you doing...?"
He said nothing. His shirt was already off, and he kept it at his side, his bare body in full display.
"I asked, what are you doing? Why are you...naked?" Eden questioned. He wondered how casual it was in this era to go naked on the streets.
Felix smiled, staring at Eden. "I got injured while helping you, so don’t you think you should treat me?"
Eden glared at him. "Are you being for real now?"
Felix showed Eden his backside, which was bruised. "Yes. Help me with it."
Eden glared at him. "And what do I look like to you? A doctor?"
"No," Felix said. "I’m your student, so you should take good care of me."
Eden rolled his eyes as he slammed his hand against Felix’s back.
"Ouch!" Felix cried in pain.
He quickly turned as Eden got up to his feet. "I don’t have time for this."
"Ouch..." Felix was still in pain as he got up to his feet. "Why did you do that?"
"Because I’m not your servant," Eden turned to leave. But Felix pulled him back by the hand and pulled Eden to himself.
Eden almost tripped and found himself falling against Felix. His face met Felix’s bare chest.
It was an awkward position—Eden on Felix’s body while Felix had his hands around Eden’s waist, gripping him tightly.
Eden squeezed his face away from his body as he looked up at Felix. "What do you think you’re doing?"
Felix smiled. "Catching you from falling."
Eden scoffed. "What? Why are you acting all clingy? Don’t tell me that you actually like me?"
Felix smiled. "No. Why would I? I don’t like my fellow men."
Eden didn’t know whether to laugh or roll his eyes at his words. "Is that so? Then what’s all this supposed to be? Since when was it normal for two guys to be in this position?"
Felix hesitated, his hands still over his waist. "Since you discovered a new means of getting my powers back."
Felix pulled onto his waist, pulling him closer. "Why? Are you already tired of the new method?"
Eden’s expression was firm. He guessed his plot of playing with Felix simply backfired, and now he was the one seemingly playing with him.
"Just be careful," Eden said, "so you don’t fall too deep."
"And why would I even fall for my teacher?" Felix questioned.
Eden smirked as he ran his fingers up to his chest. Felix watched as Eden’s fingers traced his chest and down to his trousers. "Because I’ve already tasted this... and you’ve already had a taste too..."
Eden now looked up to meet Felix’s eyes, his fingers on his dick. "And it’s easy to fall for someone when you get too attached romantically if you get too addicted to what you’ve tasted..."
Eden smiled. "So, learn how to keep distances..."
Felix said nothing. He had his eyes on Eden for a while, his hands still around his waist. "And what if I don’t keep my distance...?"
Eden now cupped Felix’s dick in his hands. He stiffened but still kept his expression firm.
"If you won’t keep your distance... then I guess I’ll have no choice but to actually make you fall deep for me. Too deep that sleeping with me is all that you can ever think of..."
Eden’s expression was cold, but his tone was flirtatious in all possible ways.
"Don’t tell me you two are going to do it again out here?!" The horse was staring at them from a distance. Lenny wasn’t having the public display of erotica.
Eden pulled away from Felix. "You should put on your shirt and stop trying to mess around with me. It’ll get dangerous for you if you do..."
He turned and began heading for where the horse stood. Lenny was still staring at them.
Felix sighed as he picked up his shirt and put it on.
He now walked back to the horse, fully dressed. Eden was already getting ready to mount the horse when suddenly an arrow flew toward his direction.
With the arrow heading to hit Eden, Felix instantly summoned his staff, which he used to sweep through the air.
The arrow disappeared into blue dust as Eden paused. He turned, and they all looked in the same direction.
Ahead were some groups of men charging toward their direction on horses.
Eden didn’t need to count; he knew they were at least up to fifty.
"Oh dear... They found us..." Eden said.
"We have to leave. Now," Lenny said.
Felix didn’t hesitate. He instantly used a hand, swept Eden off his feet, and tossed him onto the horse.
Felix jumped on behind him and pulled the reins. They didn’t hesitate but took off in the direction ahead.
The soldiers behind were chasing after them closely.
"How did they find us again?" Eden questioned, sitting in front of Felix.
"I don’t know. But let’s first get out of here before thinking about how they did it," Felix said, driving the horse.
Evening was already clear in the sky that had grown dim.
Under the evening sky, the horse still ran as fast as it could with Eden and Felix on its back, while the armies of soldiers on horseback streamed just behind them, shooting out arrows to hit them down. But they magically always dodged them while escaping their grip.
The horse moved and moved until it finally got to what seemed like a dead end.
A cliff.
